  • How to open multiple instances of same form thru menu items

i'm not able to open another instance of the form.....if i want to open multiple instances of same form ...what should i do???

    Hi Shenaz,
To open multiple instances of the same form you need to set a different FormUID to each form you open.
So lets say your FormType is MyFormXPTO. You need can set the FormUID as MyFormXPTO_1, MyFormXPTO_2, and so on.
If you need a code samples, take a look at this post.

  • How to print multiple pages of same form with one print command

    Hi,
I have created a cheque print form in smartform. There is provision to print multiple cheques. I give multiple cheque numbers from my selection screen and for each cheque the smart form is called in loop.  Currently I get preview of 1st cheque then I print 1st cheque then click on back, cancel or exit button and then I get preview of second cheque ans so on...
Now I want to print all the cheques with one print command.
    Please advice.
    Regards,

Instead of looping at the smartform multiple times, pass an internal table with the data content to the smartform and use loop/ Table youroption  in ur smartform in the main window.in this way u can achieve printing multiple cheques at once and avoid previewing the document several times.

  • How to fill out multiples of the same form without having to input e-mail every time?

I am making a almost check list for my boss while he inspects die cast machines. He would also like to use the form so clients can fill the form out themselves and send them to us. Problem is if my boss is inspecting 10 machines it doesn't make sense if he he has to input his e-mail in the e-mail tab everytime to know that he filled one out on my end.

    Hi,
You could use a selection field instead, so the user won't need to type the email address each time.  For example,

  • Multiple people access same form over different sessions?

I am in residential property management. I would like an online form my customers can fill out to give us critical information pertaining to their property (bed/bath/size, etc.) and about their account with us (their contact info, insurance company info, maintenance preferences, etc.).  I would like the form to be accessible by the client, and by us over time to make corrections or updates as needed.  This is because an owner might not have all info needed for the form the first time the start to fill it out.  Also, we need to fill in some information they don't know.  Is this possible with Adobe Forms Central?

    Hi,
It is possible for a user to fill out the form and save the data and then edit the form data again before they finally submit it. Once the form is submitted, the user cannot edit their previous response any more. But as a form owner, you may fill in more information in the Response table directly.
    Thanks,

  • How can multiple users manage the same forms?

We are looking to purchase FormsCenral however after read this FAQ on teams we are confused:
    http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2903#Q3
How do we manage forms if more than one user needs to make changes to the same forms?

You would have a primary user/e-mail address attached to your FormsCentral account, and you can assign multiple co-authors to any of your forms. They would need to each have a free Adobe ID.
I work in a Higher Education setting, and have co-workers and Graduate Assistants who are co-authors on forms I've produced, so they can each edit and/or view the submitted response tables.
    I hope that helps,
    Brian

  • Prevent multiple users from editing/approving the same form SPD 2013,SP 2013

Hello all, I have a workflow with a to do task, the task is assigned to a group so any of the users in that group can go in and do a quality check on form data and approve it.  How do I prevent multiple users from working on the
same form? do I just require check out? or is there a way to notify the rest of the group that a user has already started the quality check.

The "Require Checkout" option is your best bet.  You can also enable the auto checkout on edit option to allow minimal effort on the side of the user.  Other users will then get the error message stating the item is checked out, if they try to
    edit it.
If you'd like, you could add a workflow to the task list that triggers when something is changed.  That workflow can check if the item is checked out and if so, email the other users assigned to the task.
I trust that answers your question...
    Thanks

  • How to insert a UUID into multiple tables in the same form

I am trying to insert a UUID into 2 different tables at the
same time ie to let this be created in the form and then insert
this ID into 2 linked tables in a database using Access.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
    Thanks very much

So you have one form that processes information for two
    tables, or do you
have two forms (one for each table - except the UUID)?
If it is one form just run two SQL insert statements. One for
    the primary
table, then one for the related table.
If it is two forms run the above two SQL statements then an
    update statement
to finish filling the second table.
Or am I completely misunderstanding the issue?

  • Unable to open same form with Multiple logins on Windows IE8

    Hello All,
We recently upgraded our instance from Jinitiator to Java Plugin Version 1.6 U18.
After that we are unable to open same form from different logins on a same windows machine.
    the following is scenario.
    1) Login as X user into EBS and open a sales order form. -- Every thing is fine.
    2) On the same machine in another browser window, login as X user again and open Sales order form. --- No issue here also,
    3) On the same machine in another browser window(Keeping the above forms open), login as Y user and open sales order form ---> Form opened from Y user is fine, but, both forms of X user are exiting Oracle applications with message" Your logon session become invalid. Exiting Oracle applications".
we have encountered issues with opening an attachment from a form, and it is resolved by Unchecking "Enable the next generation java plugin" option in Java control panal --> Advanced -> Java plugin. This workaround done according to note: 290807.1
But the multiple login issue is not resolved.
THis isssue is in our PROD and we are loosing customers. Please Advice ASAP.
    THanks.

    Hi Rama;
It was working before? If yes what have you been changed on your system?(patch etc) You have same error on IE 7 or firefox? Did you check apache log file for more details? You have any FRM error code?
Please check those settings on your IE8:
1 - Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Select Sites > click on button "Sites": add the url of ebs.
2 - Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Select Sites > Custom Level > Disabled XSS filter.

  • Avoid opening same Form Multiple times

    hi
Can anyone help me , how to put restruction not to open the same form multiple times .
    regds/sanjay

I'm not suggesting that the following is great idea but..
You could start a timer and keep updating the row in the table with a timestamp and then have a job which checks if there are rows in the table that have timestamps older than the timer interval.
I actually think that that is really bad idea.
I think its more important to ask why this is a requirement? I currently write sytems for police officers and even they can grasp the concept that someone else might be updating the same data at the same time as them and can work multiple sessions. Its hard for them, and sometimes I think they may just be hitting their keyboards with a truncheon, but they do get it.

  • Print Multiples copies of the same form.

    Post Author: Morovis
    CA Forum: General
Can I print a multiples copies of the same form using a counter. For example I like to print 200 copies and I have a variable or running toatl that can be incremeted by 1 trought the copies.

I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade.
It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
After printing, trash the added versions.

  • Prevent multiple users accessing the same form

    hi,
    i am working in forms
i have a requirement like this
if more than one user are using the same form and try to access the same record then the second user should not be able to do transaction
he should be popped up with a msg saying that other user is working on it
can any one suggest how to do this in my form
    thanks in advance
    selvaraj s

That is pretty much exactly the way Forms works automatically.
Two users can use the same form, and can even display the same data record. One of the users can make changes to the record -- Forms locks the row upon the FIRST keystroke in the first field the user begins to change.
Once the row is locked, the second user is free to look at the record, and won't even know if another user has begun making changes. However, if second user tries to change even one field in the record, Forms pops up the message, "Could not reserve record (2 tries). Keep trying? Yes / No"
There are also protections so if the first user actually changes the row and commits, then the second user tries to make a change. Forms will automatically detect whether changes were made, and if so, will undo the change and issue the message, "FRM-40654: Record has been updated by another user. Re-query to see change."
The above automatic processing works very nicely. If it will not work for you, then what is it you need?

  • Simultaneously Connecting Multiple Tables of the same Database to Textboxes of the same Form using a single ADO Control Code using VB6 Enterprise Edition and MS Access 2007

Iv 10 Tables consisting of atleast 10 fields each in a single Database. Bt, Im only able to connect 1 table at a time to a form using an ADO Control. Im able to add data from table 'student' to text-boxes in my form. Bt, hw can I add data from field(0) of
Table 'Student' to Textbox1 and data from field(0) of Table 'Marks' to Textbox2 using VB6??
This is the current sample coding iv got to connect a single table to a form:
    Global con As New ADODB.Connection
    Global rs As New ADODB.Recordset
    Public Function Connect()
    If con.State = 1 Then con.Close
    con.Open "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" + App.Path + "\bca.mdb;Persist Security Info=False"
    End Function
    Private Sub Add_Click()
    If rs.State = 1 Then rs.Close
rs.Open "select * from student", con, adOpenDynamic, adLockOptimistic
    rs.AddNew
    rs.Fields(0) = (Text1.Text)
    rs.Fields(1) = (Text2.Text)
    rs.Fields(2) = (Text13.Text)
    rs.Fields(3) = (Text4.Text)
    rs.Fields(4) = (Text5.Text)

    rs.Fields(8) = (Text9.Text)
    rs.Fields(9) = (Text10.Text)
    rs.Fields(10) = (Text11.Text)
    rs.Update
    MsgBox " Record Added"
    End Sub
What can I do to add fields from 2 different tables to different text boxes within the same form using a single ado control using vb6 and MS Access 2007??

  • Form tracking - same form, same user, multiple times

Is there anyway to track the same form from the same user if they fill it out and submit it more than once. I get an error when I try to add the response, that says the form data has already been submitted.

Actually, this issue happened in production. And around 4000 users have got extra GTC resources provisioned to their accounts. Tomorrow when clinet comes and looks in any of the user, then he may ask to delete or revoke the extra GTC's . So, I thought to remove the GTC's from their accounts from OIM DB.
I was thinking to revoke all RO for the same GTC's and then run schedule task again. This time, schedule task will provision the GTC RO only once.
Please let me know the your comments.
    Thanks,
Kalpana. If you revoke the RO from OIM, then user record will be deleted in target resource as well. Now if you run Target Recon the user doesnot exists in target and the resource will not be assigned to OIM.
