Multiple usage of Source System is not possible with installed DMIS version on source

Hello folks!
I`ve got a problem trying to adjust the Data Replication to SAP BW (on HANA) using SAP LT Replication Server.
I`ve deleted one connection and after that I`m trying to create new one through Configuration & Monitoring Dashboard (transaction LTR) with the same source / target systems.
As result when on the second step (Specify Source System) I specify RFC destination of the source system it appears an error with text
"Multiple usage of Source System is not possible with installed DMIS version on source".
But there`s no any adjusted connection in system now..
Please, help me to understand how to fix that problem, I can`t find a solution

Hi,
When you say that you 'deleted one connection', did you delete the RFC connection or the SLT Configuration? If it is not a real multiple usage scenario, then deactivate the 'allow multiple usage' flag, else install the correct DMIS version on both SLT and source.

I have just installed the latest Tiger update and on the machine restarting after installation to complete the install process, a message comes up asking for the password so that the Tiger update can access the system.
When I type in my password, it says it is wrong.
Caps lock is not on and I have tried variations to no avail.
Any ideas?

I must add that this very same password that I am trying still works on software installs and so forth.

I have the Ai trial and i cannot seem to figure out how to do a gradient with colour... is it just not possible with the trial version or what?

Hi there!
If you want to do a gradient with colors other than the standard BW, you just have to go into the gradient window and double click on one of the markers on the color slider. A color menu should pop up; click on the tiny button in the top right of that menu and change your color mode to RGB. Then you can select your color from there.

Transport Request got failed due to Source system does not Exist

Dear All,
I Have collected All data soruces which are related to R3 data sources and Flat File data sources...
After import the transport request it got failed due to Flata file source system does not exist in BI quality system.
But all data sources related to R3 and R3 Source system has been moved which are available in BI Quality sytem also.
why Flat File source and data source are moving.. why i am not sure it was throuing error message called Source System does not exist..

Go to Quality system .
Use RSA1 Transaction --> go to Tools --> Manage Source System :
Here you can map the entry of system ..
Second : go to Development system under RSA1> Transport Connection and click on Source system button first --> select your source system ---you can select multiple entry also ..collect your data source ( with before and after option ) and deselect which object you do not need ..And select collection mode to automatically ...
use the transport button to create transport request and release from development system .
I hope you will not get error in Q system .

Message "Creation of DataSources for SAP source system is not permitted"

I am in DW Workbench: Modeling and I need to copy a DataSource.
It's impossible, beacause I have this Message "Creation of DataSources for SAP source system is not permitted"!
What can I do?

Hii.
You can not copy the standard datasource to any other source system it will not allow you to do that.
But if you want to copy you can copy it to PC FILE source system.
It will allow you to copy there.
Right click in Datasource->Copy-> Give Target datasource name -
> intarget Source system tab -
>Give Source system for File.

Transporting Process Chain - error Source system does not exist

I tried to transport a local PC by itself (not including its main meta chain) since I have only done modifications in the local PC only. In the PC, there are PSA Processing, ODS Processing, ODS Activation, ABAP Program w/ variants and Infocube Rollup.
However, I got the following transport error: Source system does not exist

Diagnosis
Source system is not known.
System Response
The imported data for DataSource was deleted again because the referenced source system does not exist and no mapping is defined in table RSLOGSYSMAP on an existing productive source system.
Procedure
Create the referenced source system in the Data Warehousing Workbench or define mapping to a known source system in table RSLOGSYSMAP.
You get to maintenance using Tools -> Conversion of the logical system names.

I have checked at the table RSLOGSYSMAP and all source system mappings are in order.
And the weird thing is, upon checking the PC itself in the transport-to box, I can activate it without any error.
FYI, we are currently upgrading to BI Accelerator. Am not sure if this could be one of the reasons.
Any inputs and tips are highly appreciated and will be rewarded with points accordingly.

This error is due to the fact that the
mapping table for the after import (RSLOGSYSMAP) is not correct maintained in PB7 system.
You need to maintain table RSLOGSYSMAP in each system
You can find the steps to do it in the attached note 127326:
o Maintain table 'RSLOGSYSMAP' in the target BW with view
   'V_RSLOGSYSMAP' and enter as 'original source system' the logical name of the source system in the source BW and as 'target source system' the logical name of the source system in the target BW.
   This maintenance is required since it allows the correct source system reference of the InfoSources to be transported.
This source system reference in turn is absolutely necessary to activate the transfer structure.
   Example:
   Source BW with source system AAA.
   Target BW with source system BBB where the source system AAA
   corresponds to the source system BBB.
   Entry in RSLOGSYSMAP in the target BW:
   Original source system: AAA, target source system: BBB.
   Give the DDIC user in the source BW in client 000 the
   authorization profile S_RS_ALL to create BW objects.

Source system restore - Source system does not exist

Hello friends,
We have a problem. Now we have a new test system QA2. From BW system source system connection was configured for older test source system QA1.
We needed to route this source system to new system. I tried with changing RFC of QA1 to QA2 details.
Now, when i check RSA1 source system Check for QA1, i get this error :
Port 'A000000103 ' of type 'ALE ' does not exist
No destination exists to source system QA1
I can see this source system in RSA1 in BW. However, in WE21 port is not available now.
Please suggest.
I do not have to lose transfer rules/PSA tables..etc.

You have specified that you want to restore source system QA2. This source system is not known in BI.
System Response
The source system is not restored.
Procedure
Recreate the source system.
If the source system should be known to BI, the name of source system QA2 may be incorrect. Rename the source system and try the function again.

Source System Does Not Exist - Transport Problem

We have the next Landscape in BW 7.0 (Netweaver 2004's)
LRDCLNT300     is R3 DEV
LRQCLNT700     is R3 QA
LBDCLNT100     is BW DEV
LBQCLNT700     is BW QA
The connections are
LBDCLNT100 (BW Dev) use as source system        LRDCLNT300 (R3 Dev)
LBQCLNT700 (BW QA) use as source system        LRQCLNT700 (R3 QA)
In RSA1->TOOLS -> Conversion of Logical System Names
In Conversion of source system after the transport we have these entries
Source System                    Target System
LBDCLNT100 (BW Dev)         LBQCLNT700 (BW QA)
LRDCLNT300 (R3   Dev)         LRQCLNT700 (BW QA)
But when we transport an order from BW DEV to BW QA show the error "source system LRDCLNT300 does not exist"
Never made the conversion of source system after the transport.
Can you help us please.

     I create a RFC for LRDCLNT300 (R3 Dev) in my BW QA system (Target System).
I try an order again but it didn't work, also I try to check 7.0 checkbox but I got the message "No entry exists for original source system LBDCLNT100 for 3.x object"
and I have to uncheck again.
I still have the same problem the objects are associated to R3 Dev, never make the conversion to R3 QA.

In RSA1 check for your CRM source system and do a check on the source system whether it connected with BW system or not.
RSA1-->Source Systems and right click on CRM Source System name and check. This check shoul be active, if not contact concerned person.

The OLTP source 3FI_SL_J2_TT for source system BM4CLNT100 not present

Hi All,
iam trying to load data from r/3 for the DS 3FI_SL_J2_TT , when i see in BW , the transfer structure is inactive in Dev system. So i activated the transfer struc. but after activation also its shows as inactive.
and also iam getting this error message : "The OLTP source 3FI_SL_J2_TT for source system BM4CLNT100 not present".
I have checked in r/3 side , the DS is available and is in active. I have replicated the DS also in BW. but no luck.
could you please let me know why this error occured.

Try activating some of the services in T code SICF:
Default host -> SAP -> bc -> bsp -> sap -> prp*
(Activate all prp related services)
Also check the RFC connections.

You don’t install VS2010 on the client PC, then where did the Form Invoice not work? When you run it from another version of VS? Or when you run the application with application.exe?
Based on your description, one form works well, another form does not. I assume that two forms are in two different projects, then please check the .Net Framework used by the two projects. If they are different, you can use the
one used by the Form contact for Form Invoice.
Because this issue is a project issue, I recommend you to consult it on some application forum such as Windows Forms General forum for better support.

When I activate source system in BW, problem with IDoc (ZSBB027) occurs.

I made some enhancing data source in R3 and when I would replicate and activate source system in BW, some error message occurs:
"Type IDoc ZSBB027 BW is not like IDoc in source system,
Incorrect IDoc ZSBA0003 in definition source system."

Hi,
there is no need to activate ur Source system unless if there is any problem in ur Source system.
When ever u do some changes in ur data source then replicate that into ur BW by going into RSA1-> Source system-> right click , Replicate data source. later u can assign that to ur info source..
Once if u do the replication then u have to activate ur Transfer rules by executing RS_TRANSTRUE_ACTIVATE_ALL.

KANBAN - STO (error : Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 351)

I have configured KANBAN STO in the system which is working fine.
I am able to empty the bin and create STO (purchase orders)
But when I select a bin and try to make it full, system gives error message:
"Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 351"
In KANBAN STO replenishment strategy, I have used movement type 101,
I m little confused from where this 351 movement type is coming from.
Please help resolvethis issue.

Procedure
Choose another movement type.
You can choose the movement type as follows:
If you know the movement type, enter it directly in the Movement type field.
Choose the movement type via the menu option Movement type.
Choose the required movement type from the possible entries.
If you do not find a suitable movement type, exit this function and choose a different goods movement from the Inventory Management menu.

I think you've mistaken the meaning of both technologies. ESB actually works as a part of BPEL, for instance you can create partner link from any esb service.
ESB service can only expose data or retrieve and process (transform) them from another service. BPEL is using services like ESB as a source and adds decision making functionality which is not present in ESB.
