3.4. GHz
Any ideas Muse users?

Error message -3001 when I try to install updates

When I try to install updates, I get error message: update Quick Time can't be saved. A network error has occured. Cannot open file -3001. Make sure you can connect to the internet, then try again.
My IMac has also been very slow to start up. The white screen stays on for several seconds before it finally turns on.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.

The video is 560 X 315. Is that a problem?
Also, does anyone know when Muse will get drag and drop video embeing? Can't wait!

That's the ID that was used for the purchase. ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.

Which version of Flash and these two extensions are you using? Which OS are you using? Please make sure their versions are compatible, and you have sufficient privilege to install files included in extensions to their destination folder.

Muse crashes when I try to rename or rearrange pages

Since the update recently Muse crashes whenever I try to rename pages or rearrange them. This is my portfolio for jobs so it needs to be sorted asap.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Please send us the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread, so we can repair it and return it. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.
Any (and all) details you can provide about recent changes to the structure of your site would be very helpful in our effects to find the underlying cause of this. What pages were added, deleted, removed? What gestures were used? In what order? Any operations undone? Or undone and redone? Some set of steps, probably related to changes in the structure of your site or perhaps your menus, introduced a minor corruption in one or more of your menu widgets. Thanks.

I get itunes installer error when i try to install update 10.4.1

I have downloaded new Itunes update, but it won't install. I keep getting message to try to reinstall, but it keeps coming back with same message that the installer encountered errors during install and no changes to the configuration were made.

Muse crashing when i try to publish

I'm on a Mac trying to re-publish a site as I have made changes. I recently updated Muse to CC 2014.2. The files saves and previews just fine, but when I try to publish it, it loads to 10% and then it quits. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my computer, and even updated my OS. nothing. I need this site to be updated by tomorrow. Ideas of what's wrong?

Is it hanging or crashing? Is there any error reported? What's the progress message? Is it always the same? At 10% complete the problem is probably occurring during image optimization?
I assume exporting to a local folder has the same result?
If you select the first item in the Assets panel and then shift+click the last one, then right+click is "Optimize Assets" available in the context menu. If it is, does selecting it result in the same hang/crash?

Muse Crashes When I Try to Save

Hello, I've been encountering an issue when I try to save a particular muse site. I don't get this on all of my sites, just one in particular.
I open this site, it asks if I want to recover changes made (it crashed previously) I say no.
It opens the file, I make a change, click save and it prompts me to save it to a new name, probably because I began this site using an older version of Muse, I rename it and click save, then I get the following message:
Adobe Muse CC has encountered an error and will now exit. Please report the last few actions you took leading up to this error to the Adobe Muse CC team. Dangling Ref or Ownership: NestedListStyle refers to unknown UID
Then the program locks up and I have to force quit. I'm assuming it has something to do with a Nested List Style? But I have no idea how to locate that.
I'm using Muse 2014.3.2.11

What platform? There's a known issue with that where the OUI crashes when using it on platforms it was not certified on.
Rather than trying to coerce a 10.2 install (which I'd really recommend against since error correction has ended for it anyway), is there a reason you can't or don't want to use a current 11g version? You can use 11g ODP.NET against a 10.2 database.

HT4972 My iTunes refuses to open and when I try to install/update it says there is an error and won't finish.

I have an Dell Inspirion and 2 iPod 4 generation, 8 gig. When I cleared my iPod1 of everything it said I needed to connect with iTunes and I did. Nothing happened. My computer would not register that an iPod was synced. The iPod screen said it was syncing, but that was it. So I deleted everything on my computer connected iTunes. Now when I try and download it from the iTunes store it says error.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. Why is DOT4 Scrubber hanging when I try to install updates?

After HP Update notified me of 3 pending updates (including a Critical update to correct a PC to printer communications issue) I launched the update. The first of the 3 updates installed successfully, but the second (Critical) update froze in the middle of DOT4 Scrubber processing. I was able to terminate the second update, allowing the third one to install successfully. Shutting down my Zonealarm firewall had no effect on the problem. I manually downloaded the update (using the link provided) and launched it from my hard drive, but it still won't run to completion. This is apparently a widespread problem, from the comments I've read. Is there a solution? And if so, what is it?

I can totally relate to your situation, and can understand the import of your description. I don't know why so many are continuing to dwell on the fact that the upgrade failure causes the print service to be stopped, and methods to 'restore' printer function. A simple reboot takes care of that.
The problem of why the critical update is failing to run to completion remains. And the much more serious problem is the fact that even though complaings of this problem can be seen dating back for some time, I can find no solution offered by HP; not even a suggestion of things to try that might solve the problem. Then, upon visiting the HP support web site, and finding that there are no options to communicate directly with the company, unless you are fortunate enough to have a product that is in warranty, or by paying a support fee, it is exasparating!!
SHAME on HP for deploying a half-baked 'critical' update that is causing problems for so many users, and then completely dropping the ball. This will certainly stick in my mind if and when I should have occasion to shop for another printer product in the future!!!

I have a Dell Vostro machine with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit installed on it. It came with Office 2010 preinstalled on it. About 6 months ago I removed Office 2010 and installed Office 2007 with no problems. Yesterday a user messed up her office so badly
that I had to uninstalled it in an attempt to reinstall to ensure that all missing files exist. A few seconds after selecting my options, the installation program crashes. I tried it with a few different users logged in to make sure it's something related
to the profile of the user I was logged in as.
Just to be clear, this is the same Office 2007 installation that was installed correctly on it about 6 months ago and the same product key.
Why is this happening and how can I fix this issue without having to restore the computer to its default state?
Any help is appreciated.
