Muse installation/update neverending story

I have CC subscription, and all the products works well ... except for MUSE!!
First I was unable to install Muse, when I started to install it the program was installend on the machine ... but nowhere
So I found a possible solution, by:
- closing CC
- uninstalling Muse
- uninstalling Adobe Air
- cleaning the registry for any problematic entry
- downloaded from here http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_win the latest installer
- reinstalling Muse
At this time the program run but there are few problems:
- in the CC/Apps panel Muse is still not installed, if I install Muse from there the program is reinstalled ... but it isn't anywhere, so I have to restart from beginning!
- as soon as I start Muse a splash screen says there is an update (april 2, 2014) with "install now" or "install later", if I click on "install now", the progress bar start and at the end the program simply close; at the next restart of the program the splash screen with the same information appear again, and again and again
Please, do something radical to this program to fix this mess, we are paing every month for this.

  • Software installer update caused macbook pro/snow leopard to not start

    I ran the recent software installer update; since then my macbook pro--running 10.6.8--won't get past the blue screen.  i tried verifying/repairing permissions and even reinstalling from the disk but it tells me simply that reinstalling from the disk cannot be done.
    The only other relevant information I can think to share is the fact that my harddrive is partitioned with bootcamp, running Win7 64-bit.

    Had the same problem with my Early 2006 Core Duo iMac and Starting up in Safe Mode ended up being the fix.

    1. Be sure your Mac is shut down.
    2. Press the power button.
    3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
    4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
    In this case starting up into Safe Mode will take a lot longer than normal, so be patient and let it finish uninterrupted.
    Likewise after Safe Mode, starting up into normal mode is also going to take a lot longer than normal, so once again be patient and let it finish uninterrupted.

  • OS X Installer Update

    I bought my Wallstreet off EBay. Very happy with it. It came with 10.1.5 including the disks for 10.0 and 10.1 and a disk with .dmg files for security updates, installer updater and 10.1.5
    The only problem is, to install stuff using the .pkg files I decompressed I must first update the installer. It will load the installer updater .pkg file, but it will ask me for a volume on which to install the installer update, then show me all my volumes grayed out.
    Suggestions?

    The classic issue? Do you mean the startup disk problem? Kinda. It works sometimes, and sometimes is freezes. Takes patience. It won't work with extensions off, and it won't work immediately after a forced restart. So, yeah, sorta.

Again, it is known that the version 8 Without the update 8.3, constantly has errors. I used to simply confirmed the update button. Today there is no longer this site. You are obliged to provide me with the update. Or give me a free replacement to the next higher version. Please give me a link to a zip file that contains a setup file.

Dieser Handler war auch auf der Webseite bei Adobe als Handler registriert. Wenn Sie mir nicht glauben, werde ich die Sachen aus meinem Archiv suchen. Diese Zeit möchte ich aber dann von Ihnen bezahlt haben. Nochmals, es ist bekannt, das die Version 8. Ohne das Update 8.3, ständig Fehler hat. Ich habe früher einfach das Update Button bestätigt. Heute gibt es diese Seite nicht mehr. Sie sind dazu verpflichtet, mir das Update zu liefern. Oder liefern Sie mir kostenlosen Ersatz auf die nächste Höhere Version.   • Can't install installer update

    hi everyone, my beige g3 died, so i got another off ebay, it arrived in a shocking condition. however with a new pram battery,new 40gb hd in 3 partitions, memory at 416mb, 9.2.2. on 2nd partition, 10.1 on 1st partition, its humming along except i cannot install the installer update in order to do further updates, the disk is greyed out. i did have it on once but had to do a clean install on 1st partition. i have a retail copy of tiger and have tried to install from 9.2 with xpostfacto but it won't have it, tried several versions, there is a ! next to the install disk and sometimes on all the partitions don't know what this means....

    thanks for the replies, its funny isn't it how one can do something then next time you can't. i installed 10 on 1st 5.5 gb partition, 9.2 on next. took it up to 10.1.5 but had start up issues so did a clean install on 1st partition, and am now stuck in 10.1 because i need installer update to continue. so stuck!! also i want to get rid of all that and put panther or tiger on, now i'm caught with no dvd drive so i took apart my lacie ext. and put that one in and it works fine but i can't boot from it. i am now surrounded by dismantled things drives hard drives a spare imac for fire wire but you can't target disk the beige to the imac. i have a beautiful g5 imac sitting downstairs will some one explain why i have bought another beige?

  • Conflict - CS6 updater and CC installer/updater

    Hi Folks,
    Anyone else have this problem? I installed CC on my iMac with CS6. Now in the menu bar I have both the icon for the CS6 updater and that for the CC installer/updater. The CS6 updater shows an update is ready. That icon gives me only one choice, Open updater, and when I do, the CC installer/updater opens. But the CC installer/updater shows no new update. I am attaching a screenshot, the CS6 updater icon is the first on the left in the menu bar and the CC installer is immediately to its right.
    Anyway to get rid of the CS6 icon? Anyway to resolve this conflict?

    Thanks for the reply. I have done as ou instructed, but get a window in the CC installer/updater of "You Have No More Requests."
    Still, that "1" remains next to the CS6 updater.
    On my laptop, the CS6 updater went away, so I have only the CC icon. In my laptop's CC installer/updater this morning was an update for Premier CS6. No such update appears on my iMac in CC installer/updater even though the Premier CS6 is on that machine as well. The settings in Preferences for CC installer/updater are the same on both my MacBook Pro and my iMac.
    Any other ideas?

  • INstallation\Update Log?

    New to Macs, so bear with me. Is there an installation\Update log some where on the Mac? I got a notice this morning about several updates (two applied to FCE HD, but others did not). But I'm not sure if I really updated or not as the only option after the update was process was to Quit the updater.
    I should have made notes or printed the available updates but was in the middle of something else when I got the notification and just proceeded with the update process. By the time my conf call was done so were the update - or at least I think they completed.
    Any way to see what was updated and when?

    Yes, there are logs for, effectively, everything. You can access the logs from within the Console utility which is located in your /Applications/Utilities folder.
    With regards Software updates, you can also view which updates have been applied by firing up System Preferences, selecting Software Update and then clicking on the Installed Updates tab.

  • Muse website for short story publishers ... how to ....

    Hi and thanks in advance ... I'm looking to create a muse website for short story authors so they can submit their stories and visitors to the site could comment on a story, vote or rate it, and retrieve past stories from an archive either by date, author, subject, category (fiction, non fiction, etc or randomly. I realize a back end system of some sort ( a CMS) is likely needed or some embed code from an external service of some sort.
    Does anyone have any leads on a CMS or other such service that will do this?

    You can use Blogs or forums for achieving purpose, where users can upload their stories and viewers can rate/vote it. If you are using third party hosting platform then you would need to integrate using html.

    How did you purchase? AA8 has not been available for almost 8 yrs or so. The only current version available from Adobe is 11 and you can not upgrade from 7 to 11, but have to buy the full product.
    Updates also require the use of the S/N of the qualifying product (AA7 in your case) to be able to use the newer product. So at this point, it is unclear what you actually have.

    Die Acrobat Version 8.0, war immer sehr gut für mich.
    Diese Version reichte für mich vollkommen aus.
    Ich hatte einen Computerabsturz und musste Acrobat auch neu installieren.
    Die Acrobat Version 8.0, ohne Update, stürzt immer ab.
    Das können Sie auch im Internet lesen.
    Jeder weiß das, dass Acrobat Version 8.0, ohne Update abstürzt.
    Es gibt aber dies Update nicht mehr zum Download.
    Ich erwarte jetzt von Adobe, kostenlose Abhilfe.
    Ich möchte jetzt eine kostenlose Fehlerbeseitigung.
    Oder geben Sie mir ein kostenloses Update auf die neue Version.

    I was not trying to imply that you improperly purchased the product, but that the source may have been a rip off and that could be the problem. From what I can see, it appears that you were able to install Acrobat, but can not do the updates. In that case, try the updates from the ftp site. I will have to come back with the address that I do not have on this machine. The html updates are no longer available for some reason, but the ftp site contains all the updates. You do have to install the updates in order in general, though you only have to reboot after the last update. I will change computers and find the ftp link to provide you.

  • "Your latest Muse CC update is here" - Nothing happens after apparent download. message persist at re-launch

    At every launch of Adobe muse, I am met with the message that "Your latest Muse CC update is here"
    Wonderful, but after the apparent download, absolutely nothing happens, and when I re-launch Muse, I am met with the same message. I have done this about 7 times now, and nothing has changed.
    Launching the Creative cloud, updates for other Apps are listed, but not for MUSE !!
    Being on a satellite service with limited bandwidth, I am getting a bit tired of waisting bandwidth and getting nothing in return. Does anybody have a suggestion / solution to this problem?

    I tried all suggested solutions, also re-installed the Creative Cloud app, but no change.
    I have Now re-downloaded and installed the Muse App, In the Creative Cloud App window it lists as "updated", but I am receiving the same message "Your latest Muse CC update is here" when I launch the freshly downloaded and installed Muse App!
    The installed version is 7.3 build 5  - I have no idea what is happening to the supposedly downloaded updates!

  • Installer Update problem

    I was going to install Mac OS X update 10.1.5 but it said I need to update my installer. So I dowloaded it, ran it, but when I got to the part of the installer update install where it asks you to pick a volume to install the software on, none of the volumes are able to be picked. They're like transperent. Any pointers?

    Can you install the Security Update 7-18-02? If so, run the Mac OS X 10.15 updater next without installing the Installer Update.

    I'm trying to install something and it says I need Installer Update. I don't understand what that is.

    OK, does your G4 meet these requirements?
    Leopard requirements/10.5.x...
    * Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
    minimum system requirements
    * 512MB of memory (I say 2GB at least)
    * DVD drive for installation
    * 9GB of available disk space (I say 30GB at least)

    It's an update just for Mac, there was an issue with the Software Installer so it's to fix that.
