Was it just this one time? Could be that you, or your mom, were experiencing network problems. Try again at a later time.

PDF link does not open in IE, but will open in Firefox and Safari.

How PDFs open when clicked on is controlled by the user's settings. You can't use code to force them to display in-browser.
Check your IE security settings, especially if it's a local file that won't open. IE has some idiotic security settings when trying to open local files.
If the site has been uploaded and IE won't open the PDF, you will want to make sure you have the Acrobat plug-in installed and that it's set to be used from within IE's settings.

If that doesn't help you can try a cleaning disc, or a shot of compressed air but chances are good that your optical drive has failed. You can either replace it or buy an inexpensive external unit (but not Apple's as it won't work on macs with a built in drive working or not).

After installing Win7 x32 SP1 I can not start Firefox. Not even in safe mode. I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed the program. Won't start.

After installing SP1 Firefox quit working and Internet Explore quit working. I can only use Chrome as a browser at this time.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

After a search page renders, the NEW FF does NOT open up a choice in a new window and you lose the search page. WHY? I do not like this!

every internet browser keeps the main page that renders when you do a search. you can click on any of the options and a new window opens. the latest version of FF i downloaded today has completely removed that feature. when you click on a search choice, it opens up in the same window as the search page and you loose all your search options. that is not good..

The quotation marks and other gammer markings appear as a box when I open a website. ie: the College of Working Families, the. This does not occur when I use Safari, Google Chrome, or Opera. I am using MAC OSX 10.6.6.

Error - The site does not contain a default keywords termstore

Getting the "The site does not contain a default keywords termstore" error in mysites (SharePoint 2010). The "This service application is
the default storage location for Keywords." box is already checked. Which from my Googling, is normally the fix.
Any ideas on what else i can try?

According to your post, my understanding is that you get an error in SharePoint 2010 My site.
Do you have more than one managed metadata service applications set as the default for the same web application?
If you have more than one managed metadata service applications, you can try to uncheck the “This service application is the default storage location for keywords” option for other managed metadata service applications.
If you have only one managed metadata service applications, you can try to delete this managed metadata service application and create a new one to test if it works.

Default IIS site does not exist

Hi,
I had unistalled epmm 11.1.2.2 and installed it again. Now as i am configuring it is throwing me an error saying "Default IIS site does not exist". I checked "inetmgr". In that I found that under site there are no websites present. I dont know but the site was present before and suddenly it has gone. I tried adding the website but I am unable to do it. Any suggestion guys coz i am really stuck here for 2 days.

Please create the default website in IIS7 by following the process given below
1. Log on to the Web server computer as an administrator.
2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Internet Services Manager.
4. Right-click the Web site that you want to configure in the left pane, and then click Properties.
5. Click the Web site tab.
6. Type a description for the Web site in the Description box.
7. Type the Internet Protocol (IP) address to use for the Web site or leave the All (Unassigned) default setting.
8. Modify the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) port as appropriate.
9. Click the Home Directory tab.
10. To use a folder on the local computer, click A directory on this computer, and then click Browse to locate the folder that you want to use.
11. To use a folder that has been shared from another computer on the network, click A share located on another computer, and then either type the network path or click Browse to select the shared folder.
12. Click Read to grant read access to the folder (required).
13. Click OK to accept the Web site properties.

The above process will help in creating default website in IIS and then please proceed with the hyperion epm 11.1.2.2 configuration.

Muse pages are not loading completely in browser. Forced to reload page to load.

I have a several websites that I am working on that when I publish to a production server, the HTML is not completely rendering in the browser.
After reloading all the elements display correctly.
Any suggestions??

Site does not show correct on Samsung Tablet

Hi all,
I've seen a few questions regarding Muse sites not being displayed correct on a Samsung Tablet. My problem is similar but still different. The site is displaying correct on the desktop/ipad/iphone but not on the Samsung Tablet.
In the previewt his is not shown. Now I also know that the preview more or less simulates how a site should look.
This is the site: www.uwpersoonlijkeoptieadviseur.nl (a dutch site).
I have looked at the links and they seem to be ok. I mean all the links link to the Tablet version.

Hi sanjit, the thing is that on a samsung tablet from around 3 years old the problem occurs. But on a samsung tablet almost a year /2years old the site displays correct.
Both of them has got android 4.04
See the image with the specs in which it loads correct.(white background)
And here the specs of a older one (dark grey one And arround 3 years old)

Also which browser are you using , browser version would help. Do you see the same problem with any other browser on same tablet.

Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server

Hello,
I have been asked to create a test enviroment identical to the production enviroment. So, what I did was:
Backed up the production web application's content database: Prod_WSS_ContentDB
Created new test servers (domain controller, sql server and sharepoint 2013 server) in a new, completely isolated, network environment, without any connection with the production environment (specifically Azure)
Created a new web application in test environment with a new content database.
Dismounted the new content database with powershell: Dismount-spcontentdatabase Test_WSS_Content
Copy the Prod_WSS_ContentDB database to the test sql server and restored it with Management Studio.
Mount the Prod_WSS_ContentDB databe to the web application with powershell:
Mount-spcontentdatabse Prod_WSS_ContentDB -WebApplication http://testsp/
Then, when I type http://testsp in the browser it redirects me to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
and the site loads exactly as the production environment.
But, after some minutes, or if I restart the Sharepoint Server, when I navigate to
http://sitesp I am redirected to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
as expected, but the site does not load, the browser just show a complety blank page.
The Central Administration site loads normally.
Trying to fix it I found that if I dismount the content database Prod_WSS_ContentDB, then mount the test database Test_WSS_Content,
then navigate to the site, dismount Test_WSS_Content and finally mount again Prod_WSS_ContentDB, the site loads normally, no blank page, but after some minutes or if I restart the same happens again.
For the error event I receice in event viewer it seems that the problem is related to database. I have not found a solution for this error... How can I solve this?

According to your post, my understanding is that Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server.
Please make sure you create a test environment for existing production site correctly.

Accordion or Tabbed panel should to it, with click and open container.

Hi Nishj,
My suggestion is in OPK4, second tab 'Individual entry general', in shift proposal select current shift, so that the system will automatically take the shift and no need of manually giving that. In this case i think you will not face the error.
Have you have already decided to give the shift manually, please check and revert back.
As per my knowledge in operation wise confirmation shift will not be displayed in standard SAP. Please let me know if you are using any exit.
