Music List shows another album cover.

Hey.
When i check my iPhone's Music App, on the Album list in someones it shows another album cover.
But that only happens to the ones that include singles i got from preorders.
example.
what can i do about it, i tried almost everything i know.

Off course, you can find this choice at the right in the white top bar:
Sorry, it's Dutch. In English is "Songs, Album, Artists, Composers or Genres"

  • Coverflow showing "invisible" album cover rather than "music symbol" cover

I recently noticed that my iPhone is showing a completely invisible album cover instead of the normal music symbol cover in coverflow & regular iPod modes. This is strange as I usually see the music symbol placeholder album cover when browsing the iPod software. With the completely invisble cover, it's hard to notice the album when browsing in coverflow. Is this a known bug?

One thing to try is to find the songs that belong to the album in itunes.
Right click or control click on the each of the songs and go to the artwork tab.
Delete any artwork associated with the song.
Now add the artwork you want associated with the album.
Connect the iphone to the computer.
Use manually manage to remove the album from the iphone.
Then sync the album back to the iphone.
    Hope this helps.

  • Music + loockscreen Bug (no album cover when iPhone is lock and play music)

    hello there.
I have just got a weird bug on my iPhone 4, while playing music and the iPhone is lock.
The issue is about what happens when I'm listening to music and my iPhone is lock-screen mode (simply say it is locked).
What is happening is that when I'm trying to check the song name and cover of the album (one click on home button) there is only the title of the song and instead of the album cover there is my lock-screen background picture.
I have tried to delete all the covers in iTunes and add them manualy (because when i click download the covers some of them are in wrong place) but it still apear the same problem.

Found another post with a similar issue after upgrading to ios 5 and this worked for him, I might try this tonight and will re-post if it worked for ios 5.1:
    1)Connect phone
2)Hightlight your phone on the left side of the iTunes window
3)Click on the music tab towards the top middle of the iTunes window
    4)Uncheck "sync music"
    5) Click "Apply" down on the bottom right  At either this step or the preceding step you might get a
pop up box that says "you have made changes" or something like that, click okay or apply.
6)After this is finished, check to make sure there is no music left on your iPhone by double clicking on your
iPhone in the left hand pane of iTunes and then click on "music" under your iPhone
7)If there is no music on your iPhone, then recheck the "sync music" and then click "apply" down in the
    bottom righ.
8)If you have a lot of music it will take hours to sync, but when finished your Dock accesorries should work again.

  • Why doesn't the music app show the album artwork?

When I open the music app, everything is fine, all except for some albums are missing thier artwork. The funny thing is, when you tap on the album, and it flips up and shows all the songs in that album, the album artwork shows up on the side, but when you go back to the albums, the artwork isn't there again. I know that the artwork isn't avaliable sometimes, but in this case, the artwork is there somewhere, because it shows up when you open the album. Is there some way I can get it back? Thanks

Sync with iTunes on your computer selecting to remove the affected albums from your iPad and then sync again selecting to move them back to the iPad.

  • Album Cover/Title not showing in the List for an Artist with one album.

    Hello all.
I have browsed a number of the posts, but nothing close to my particular problem.
I am new to iPod Classic (a couple of months). I like it! Used to be a Creative Zen Vision:M user.
    Here is my issue.
I have most of the covers for my albums. Still looking for a few.
When I go to the Artist's menu and pick an artist, if it has more than one album, it shows 'All Songs' and a list of albums with covers, album name and number of songs on a separate screen. You click an album and it shows the tracks, you click a track and away you go. That works just fine.
However, when the Artist only has one album, it does not show the album cover, name and number of songs on a separate screen. It just shows the list of tracks. I would like it to be consistent. I would like to see the album cover/name before I click the tracks to start.
I have worked all my songs in iTunes. I'm pretty sure there is no difference between the one and multiple album artists.
Of course when you click a track to start, the album cover shows on the Now Playing screen.
Is there some sort of setting I might have missed.
Any thoughts on this? What might I try?
    Thanks in Advance ...
    Bob

    Wow!
    Is that really so?
I'm not questioning your answer. Just want to make sure before I say OK and let it be. I had heard that iTunes/iPod forces you to do things their way, this is an example, I guess!
    Thanks for the input.
I guess I'll just have to leave it be!
Is iTunes the only way to deal with iPod? Are there any other programs?

  • Lost Album Cover Art

When you download music from iTunes, you also download the album cover. I ended up wiping my hard drive a few months ago due to a virus, and had backed up all my music, but lost the album cover art. I would like to back them up, but I don't know where to look. Where are they stored in the computer?

OK in windows media player, it will pull the album art up, but it doesn't attach the art to the song, instead it hides the art in the system and attaches a series of numbers to be ID. In iTUnes tho the art is attached to the songs tags.
Now there may be some program you can find on the net that will automaticly do this for you, I have no idea but heres how to do it manually.
Now the art work will reside where the song is. Since most music is put in the "My MUsic" folder i'll focus there, but if you have songs in another folder there artwork will be in that folder with them. Open My Music folder and goto tools>folder options>view tab Now check "Show Hidden Files and Folder" then UNCHECK "Hide Protected Operating System Files" You should now see all the album art listed.

  • Album cover collage

I really really hate when I turn my phone while listening to music and it becomes the album cover collage.  Sometimes it will get stuck like that and I'm stuck listening to the same song over and over.  It's a pain in the ***.  Can I turn this feature off?

I agree this is the dumbest thing ive seen in IOS7.  It is the only place where a user is looking at/ working with something ... And then the OS randomly decides for the user to show something else - with 0 user value.  If you accidentally happen to click on an album --- the music player shows that album and songs -  even though you are listening to another song on another album--- seriously Apple what is that about.  Please let me control what I view.
Btw the only you can do to actually see and control your songs in horozontal mode is yet another step...swipe up on the bottom arrow.(really inconvenient when you are exercising)

  • Cannot See Album Cover

Hi, i just bought a 20gig ipod photo. I dont know if this is causing the problem, but, the day i got it, as the ipod was formating, 1/2 way later the ipod just froze, and the screen just switched to like safe mode or something ( No color/backlight) and it showed a folder with an exclamation point. So i tried resetting and that didnt work. So i brought it back to the apple store and let them take a look at it. It worked fine over there, so the guy told me that somehow my computer stoped formating the ipod and told me unplug anything else using usb. So i got home, and got the problem fixed. Now my problem is, let say, i have 3 albums in my ipod ( the album covers appear and is working great ) THAN, when i add another album/cover, the previous albums looses it cover. Why is that? Im using itunes 5.0

    Hi Andy,
Question: Do you leave your iPod connected to your computer while adding songs and/or artwork to your iTunes library (and you also are using Automatic updating)? I wonder that if in the process of trying to keep up, your iPod's directory is getting messed up. When these kinds of problems occur, I recommend that you disconnect your iPod and work on your iTunes library and get it just the way you want it. THEN connect your iPod and let it update at one time.
So, in your case (since your iPod may be out of sync) I would get your library in good shape (all artwork is correct), then exit iTunes. Fire up the iPod Updater program and do a Restore. Then fire up iTunes again and resync. Your problem should be fixed.

  • Album Cover Duplicates

Hi, I recently installed iTunes 7.7 & just loaded the “Rolling Stone Magazine Top 500 Songs”. In iTunes it gives me the same album cover for each song / artist in the Album Browse. Is there a way to only show one Album cover for the 500 songs.
    Regards pat

You need to mark all the songs from that album as a compilation.
Select all the songs from that album -- one way is to use the "Browser" to select that album.
"Get Info" on the selected tracks (right-click and select "Get Info", or select "File..Get Info".)
In the "Multiple Item Information" dialog that appears, check the box for "Compilation", and select "Yes" from the pulldown.
    Then click "OK".

Sorry for not getting back with you...
That moves only the iTunes media, not the iTunes library (which is really kinda nebulous).
iTunes library = iTunes folder and all the media, wherever it is located.
The /Music/iTunes/ folder contains the iTunes library.itl file, which keeps track of everything in iTunes.
I do however still have the original MAIN startup drive still in the computer, it's just not the startup.
This is good you still have it.
    Try this...
    Hold Option and launch iTunes.
Select Choose library... and select the /iTunes/ folder on the original drive. It should be in /Users/your_user_name/Music/.
Don't mess with anything. We can get it cleared up.
    Does everything work okay?

  • Music album cover images and track titles show on iPhone 4s but music doesn't play - any ideas?

I am a Young at Heart Senior, new to iPhone 4s, have an old creaking pc with Windows XP Home.....but plan to enter the real world any day soon by buying a new Mac!
Here is my problem, I purchased an album on iTunes and mistakenly started to sync it to my phone, (although I don't have iCloud loaded on my pc). I stopped it mid download and later noticed that the total track numbers were showing as a red number above the "more" button as if they were waiting to complete the download. It stayed there while I thought about it for a few days, but when I click the Album button all the tracks are listed.
Now to the funny part.....when I click on a track or indeed any of them, it doesn't play a sound...but the progress bar above moves as if "now playing".
So, I thought.... no problem, I would connect the phone up to iTunes and delete the tracks....but when I do so, this album and none of it's track titles show in my music list for the phone......weird.
So, I have a large album with titles only on my phone, no music behind the titles (which, incidentally, is rubbish anyway) and I can't get rid of it off my phone, any of you young whizzy iPhoners have any ideas how to clear it off???
I did think I might just Restore my phone, but wondered whether downloading all my stuff from iCloud would still include the dreaded  "Now That's What I Call Christmas" album, which I only purchased in late 2011 to play at a seniors Xmas party...........you live and learn!
You will guess from my ramblings that I am not at all techy, but consider myself willing to learn and apart from this hiccup........I luuuurve my iPhone!

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

If you add music videos to Up Next playlist, then go to look at the album cover playing screen, then go to add another song from different playlist, you no longer can see Up Next, just go to full screen mode button. Using remote app iPhone 5 to play out of iTunes. It looks like it works fine for regular music, but for music videos you can't see your up next unless you go back on the computer to change once you've left the screen. When using the remote app, you shouldn't need to go to iTunes on the PC to view or edit Up Next already added. See first image, you can hit upper right and get back to Up Next (second image). Third image is music video, where you can't get back to Up Next, just swap between full screen and not. I hoped 3.0.1 would have the answer, no luck!

Add the ability to randomly select a new background from a pre selected group of photos every time the player is turned on or each day.
I would love that feature. I can't stand useing my computer with a single wall paper anymore (I have 500 anime pics that i rotate between every 2 mins ) If you could make the vision rotate background every x minutes or every time the player is turned on, it would be totally amazeningly sweet!!!! (i might have to go out and buy one then :P)
I just hope that creative has better firmware support with the vision than they have had with the touch.
    Once again, great review
