Music won't download on all my devices via iCloud. Help?
Hi, I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4 and I depend a lot of iCloud. I would be lost without it. One annoying thing that is happening is that when I purchase music on my iPhone, it won't download automatically on my iPad. And the other way around. If I purchase music on my iPad it doesn't automatically download on my iPhone.
I have checked the setting in Settings>Store>Automatic downloads. On both devices, all 3 (music, apps, books) are all ON.
The feature works with books and apps. If I purchase an app or book on one device, it automatically appears on the other. It's just annoying that music won't download.
The apps and books even download on my PC when I open iTunes. But music never downloads. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Most likely those missing songs were purchased under a different account.

Neo Malefane you should be enabled in Settings --> iCloud --> Notes on all you device. Then you can see your notes on all.

Itunes won't download at all onto my laptop, please help!
itunes wont download onto my laptop, ive tried atleast 3 times and it just says error at the end,
this is a print sreen of it...
PLEASE HELP!!See if running the installation application "as Administrator" helps.
It could be windows securtiy keeping the installation from configuring anything.

Just had replacement iPhone 4S but my music won't download? All my purchased albums are showing on iTunes Store and my iPad but won't download onto new iphone. I just bought another album on my phone and that won't download either. My phone is on IOS 6.1.3 iPad is on IOS 7.0.4
You can try resetting your iPhone by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists. -
IPhone 5 apps and music won't download. Both say waiting
My iPhone 5 running iOS 7 latest beta won't download apps. My phone worked just fine yesterday then today my apps won't download or update and my music won't download it stays in the "waiting" status and I've done hard reset logged in and out of my Apple ID and nothing changes.
No official way to fix this until the full version of iOS 7 is out in mid September, but for now the quick way to download and update is to do the following:
•Hold your finger on the icon of the app that is stuck on waiting, until wiggle mode is enabled, and remove the app
•Plug in your iOS device to iTunes and sync
•Reinstall the application from the App Store and installs and upgrades should work again
•If not, rinse and repeat this process -
i have imac, macbook, ipad2, 2 iphone 4s and I want to share music, iphoto and apps between all the devices but keep e-mail and contacts separate and use icloud. How can I do that?
The ID for iTunes must be the same on both devices for it to automatically download purchases made on the other phone.
For example, if you have been using [email protected] for iTunes, continue to do so. One of you could also use [email protected] for their iCloud account and the other one use [email protected] for theirs, alternatively you could use [email protected] and [email protected] for the two separate iCloud accounts. -
Only a small amount of my music, has moved across to all my devices. After must of my music there is a cloud with an exclamation mark??
Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match. Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

I'm having the same problem. I have checked the status and it says the location of the song is in iCloud. When I click on the cloud next to the song, not thing happens. It's been like that for 3 days. It does say it's "waiting"
Also, when I manually add album art, nothing happens. Still shows the generic iTunes icon. -

If you are indeed using 10.5.8 as indicated in your signature you will first need to upgrade to Snow Leopard; this is available in the Online Apple Store. You will then be able to uprade to Lion - again available in the Online Store where you will get a code to enable download from the App Store in Applications. This will enable you to use iCloud and run the latest iTunes.

I am having an issue...there are 1,106 songs on my iPad 2, and only 430 show up on my iTunes on my PC, and only 647 on my iPhone. I want all 1,106 songs on all my devices. Please help!
You need to transfer the purchased content from the iPad to the iTunes library on the laptop. Read the post from virtualgeo on how to accomplish what you want to do.

If you are running iOS 5 and backing up to iCloud, there is really no need to go through all of that - IMO - but if you want to, it is possible to do so.
If you decide to do this, You will now have iTunes telling you that the iPad has been synced to another iTunes library each time that you sync with the other computer. -
In Icloud on my imac I can't see my "numbers" icon which i need to select "tick" to transfer data to my other devices via icloud. any ideas why it's not showing up?
You have to do it app wise, which means that the icon won't show up in settings, but you will be able to move files from your local drive to iCloud via the Numbers app (move... > choose the iCloud option).
It requires that you set up the same iCloud account on all your devices and that you have the latest version of Numbers on all your devices as well. -
I am confused about Icloud. I have a 5 year old Macbook, a 2 year old macbook and a 5 year old mac mini. What exactly do I need to do to get all this connected via Icloud. I also have an Iphone 3G. Help please! Also, I still don't understand exactly what the benefits are. At the moment it seems a lot of hassle to change a system that's been working perfectly well and that I'm very happy with. I'm not at all sure whether the mac mini (1.66 GHz INtel Core Duo) can be brought up to the relevant spec to run ICloud. Any thoughts?
There are two aspects to iCloud. One is simply getting an account, or migrating a mobileme account to iCloud. The second part is using the various features of iCloud to sync contacts, calendars, use music match or photo sharing, and store iWorks documents.
First to get an iCloud account:
If you have a mobileme account, you can migrate by simply logging onto www.icloud.com (ignore any references to Lion and just click through to complete the migration). If you have OS X Lion or an iOS 5 mobile device, you can create an iCloud account on that device using any valid AppleID.
Once you have an account, you can use JUST the mail account if you wishi - it is a standard IMAP account so you would set it up like any other IMAP email account you have, in whatever client program you use to read email.
To use the OTHER feautes of iCloud, your computers will have to be running OS X Lion (10.7). Your iPhone 3G will never be able to use iCloud as it cannot run iOS 5 (you need a min. of an iPhone 3GS to run iOS 5).
The requirements for OS X Lion are here - http://www.apple.com/macosx/specs.html You need a min. of a Core 2 duo processor so you mini is not capable of running Lion.
So, in your case, the single reasons for iCloud would be if you have a mobileme account, then use the online www.icloud.com to migrate your account so you do not lose your @me.com email address. You can use iCloud email (without using any other iCloud features) by setting it up as IMAP mail with these settings - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864
If you want an iCloud account and do NOT already have a mobileme account, you will need to upgrade one machine at least to Lion in order to be able to create an iCloud account. -
Photostream Issue - I have had several phones over the years all backing up via iCloud/Photostream. It seems that the oldest of my photos and videos are simply gone and I cannot seem to figure out how to get access to them. Why is this happening? Is there anything I can do to get them back? I'm freaked out by the thought that I am paying for what I thought was a safe place for my photos to be stored and accessed later but now see that there are nearly 500 pictures/videos gone from my photostream folder. Photo Stream is not a respository for archiving photos. It is a cloud storage device that will store the last month or last 1000 photos taken by any device on the same Apple ID, and then will "share" those photos with all other devices that have Photo Stream turned on,and that are logged onto the same Apple ID.
iCloud backups will contain all of the photos that were on your camera roll the last time you backed up your device.
If you have photos outside of the Photo Stream parameters, and they are not all on your current camera roll, then you have no way to retrieve them unless you have imported them to the computer you sync with or have uploaded them to some other cloud service like DropBox.

i have just upgraded from an iPhone 3Gs to an iPhone 5. I am trying to transfer all my content via icloud but having problems logging in - it keeps telling me the server is not responding. Nano sim hasn't yet been registered - does this affect things?
