What is the update number causing this issue?
Sounds very similar to this issue:
http://blogs.vmware.com/workstation/2014/10/workstation-10-issue-recent-microsoft-windows-8-1-update.html
Are you running the most recent version of VMware Workstation 10?
For more support for VMware products, a better place is the VMware forums, as this forum is for Windows 8.x Hyper-V. (

This week’s MVP’s
This week, the MVP’s for the Verizon Community Forums are TNS_2, dslr595148, and Anti-Phish. Thank you for your continued support of the Verizon peer to peer forums!
ChrisB_VZI am honored to be on the list, however I wish it wasn't for the reason it was.
Unmentioned in your post is the outpouring of support for the Funimation channel. This channels cancellation, due to what is quickly turning out to be a less than factual reason of 'low viewership' from Verizon, has mobilized many of your customers. In fact, I'm sure that most of the people in your list this week were kudo'ed for posts in 1 of 2 threads:
Funimation Canceled!
Save Funimation Petition
If we are to look at the pure numbers, at the time of this writing those 2 threads combined for a total of nearly 950 kudos and 3800+ views. Even more telling: 198 of the 200 most kudo'ed posts are people SUPPORTING Funimation Channel and against Verizon's decision to cancel the channel. (http://forums.verizon.com/t5/kudos/leaderboardpage/board-id/FiOS_TV_Entertainment/timerange/one_mont...
IMHO (and no offense to Justin and his very helpful document) either of these 2 would have made a much more appropriate 'Thread of the week'. -
Changing MARA-ERNAM and MARA-AENAM during Material create
Hi All,
We have a critical requirement to change the MARA-ERNAM and MARA-AENAM during the creation of the material.
We are using the BAPI 'BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA' to create a material from an Inbound IDOC.When we execute the above BAPI, the material is created with sy-uname in MARA-ERNAM and MARA-AENAM field and our requirement is to update our desired usernames.
Please provide your valuable suggestions.
Thanks and Regards,
Stephenand why don't you execute that BAPI with another UserID? or schedule it as a job, attaching the userid of the special batch-user you have in your company to the job-step?

Thank you for your continued efforts!
ChrisB_VZPatrick,
Thanks my session verify function was causing the problem and I have removed it temporarily from my authentication scheme.
I am using the "check_timeout" function that was developed a number of years ago as part of a "How To" section in the old HTMLdb days. I knew there was an issue with this routine as the newer versions of the browsers handle cookies differently and I was going to redevelop it at some point. Do you know which part of the function causes the issue?
Many Thanks,
Jon

Post of the Week:
Thank you, jtktlw, for detailing such thorugh step-by-step instructions on connecting your Xbox Live with the Actiontek GT704-WGB wireless router.

This would have to go out to Justin this week. A member wanted help with "Setting up the IMG Guide to just show channels that they actually get" We were reminded at how helpful it is sometimes to point each other back to content/solutions already previously posted. Justin had written a user guide on that very topic previously with "Exploiting TV Favorites."
Most Noteworthy Quote:
"In contrast to those users who claim they aren't being given the speeds they were advertised, FiOS customers in our forums indicate they're actually getting more than they paid for." Great observation, Hubrisnxs!

upgrade (from 2014.0 to 2014.2) on Mac OS 10.9.4
It says, downloading.. but nothing happens.
I tried this on several occasions. Any one can help?Ed61 I would recommend reviewing the installation log files for the update to determine the cause of the failure. You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html. You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

Can't update Adobe software CC 2014 to CC 2014.1 or install programs
Hello everybody,
When i try to update Adobe software cc 2014 to cc 2014.1 the download will come to a stop at 42% and gives a report.: Installation failed. When i look at "more information" it gives the following information: 0 fatal error(s), 0 error(s)
I recently discovered installing other adobe software cc 2014 programs also give this problem.
I tried uninstalling software to reinstall it but then i received the following report: Error: DM003: Can not install x64 payloads on an x86 machine
Ive tried renaming the folder OOBE to OOBE_old, Renamed AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat to AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat_old. Did not work (the app still stops at 42%)
Checked out and in Creative Cloud. Did not work. (the app still stops at 42%)
I've got the following system:
Can anybody help me?
thanks
MeviHello Jeff,
because the error occurred after I clicked instal, i checked a log file.
unfortunately there where no obvious errors i could detect.
i included a screenshot of the log.
Could/would you check if i missed something.
greetings

MBA - difference between early 2014 and mid 2014?
Today my new MBA 13", 1.7, 8 GB, 256 GB has arrived. When I checked the serial number I found out, that it is from early 2014. Is there a difference between early 2014 and mid 2014?
Should I send it back to the reseller?Thank you for the quick reply. I wonder about that because in German online shops and communities there is often written about mid 2014.
One the Apple homepage I found out the early 2014 works with Mavericks. The current MBA in the apple store works with yosemite. But I could not find and hardware differences... -

How to get a list of scanned SSID with MAR 3200?

We have a MAR3200 with a 4.9GHz WMIC wired to our network. On the wireless side, the WMIC is configured as non-root bridge. On our network, we want to see the SSID that the WMIC can connect to (the SSIDs that are broadcasted by nearby access points). Can we use SNMP for that? And if yes, can we force the non-root bridge WMIC to connect to a specific SSID once we find out which one we want to connect to?
Thanks in advance. When I walk the snmp table: cd11IfAuxSsidTable, I only find the SSID that are configured in the non-root bridge WMIC, however I want to be able to find all the SSID that the unit can see and decide which ssid to join.
I also thought of using cd11IfRogueApDetectedTable but that table is always empty.
What I am trying to do it basically provide a list of SSID to the laptop user (similar to the one avaiable through wirless connections in Windows) and let one Laptop user decide which SSID to join, however with the MAR I don't see how to do this basic operation (the laptop is wired to the MAR).
Thanks.

Samsung SH-S182M (Lightscribe DVD Burner) - Will it work in a G5 DP 2.0GHz?
I found this drive on sale at Frys this weekend for 49 bucks. All the sales reps just read the box and saw no mention of Mac OS X and said, it won't work even though I told them I regularly use Pioneer ones that say nothing about macs but work fine.
