My album artwork is showing up in my itunes library but not in itunes under ipod:music. help

When I'm in itunes my album artwork shows up in my library. But if i'm in itunes under my ipod:music it will not let me sort by Album, only Album by Artist, and absoluetly no artwork is there.help!

Even if you somehow lost the iTunes app and your OS, unless you reformatted the hard drive to restore, your song files (the iTunes data) may still be there. Look in your user home folder Music folder, for a folder called iTunes, and then iTunes Media. If you see that folder, your song files may be in there. If the hard drive was reformatted, obviously, nothing from before will be there.
For your question, iTunes syncing is generally one way, from the computer's iTunes library to the iPod, by design. You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links. (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once your iPod's song files are on the computer's drive, you can add them to your current empty iTunes library.

Press the top left button (next to Inbox)
You'll see all the Inboxes for the accounts present
You'll know either way whether one or more accounts has been setup.
SIDE NOTE: Not too sure about MobileMe though, might be integrated with iCloud, not sure.

Are you positive these podcasts are configured to sync to your iPod Touch? Have you double checked the configuration for podcasts from under the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on its name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the iPod's Summary tab. Locate the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can choose how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.

Nano shows up in Windows and Updater, but not in iTunes

I have been having trouble for the past month with my ipod nano. What happened was I was installed a program to convert avi files to wmv files and it required me to install another program that put a lower quicktime on my computer, quicktime classic I think it was called. When I opened itunes later it gave me an error saying itunes needed to be reinstalled, so I went to apple and downloaded the newest version of itunes and installed it. Ever since then itunes has not picked up my ipod. It shows up in My Computer and in the updated, and when I plug it in it even launches itunes, but it will not show up in the iTunes source panel on the left.
Here is what I have done so far with no avail:
Also I have these two updaters installed on my computer: 2006-03-23 and 2005-09-23
-Restored my ipod to both updaters
-Used Gailpod’s method of formatting and then restoring. I restored to both Updaters
-Completely removed any instances of Itunes on my computer then reinstalled.
-Uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and ipod
-Did all of the “5rs”
Now I am just going crazy it feels like. It was working just fine until I installed that program. I am not sure what to do. Also my device manager is fine, all the devices are still showing up.

Basically, I my iPod recently stopped responding. iTunes won't detect it when I connect it. The iPod shows up in My Computer and as connected when I run the iPod diagnostics through iTunes. iTunes also automatically opens when I connect the iPod. Oh yes, I've also tried Apple's "iPod recognized by Windows but not iTunes" page. I have reinstalled iTunes, reset my iPod, and even reset the iPod Service.

My album covers are messed up on my iPhone 4s, but not on iTunes.

I have an iPhone 4s and I bought a few new albums recently on the iTunes Store. When I synced them to my phone, certain album covers, including the covers of the albums I had just bought, were not the correct ones. They were mixed up with other album covers that were also on my phone. On iTunes on my computer, all of the album covers are correct, so it is not iTunes. I tried updating my phone to the most recent software and restarting my phone, but the problem remained. I also tried deleting the albums from my playlist and putting them on again, but the album covers are not just messed up in my playlists, but in the phone itself. I have tried syncing to the computer multiple times, but the phone has remained the same. How can this problem be fixed?

Tv shows show in itunes library but not in my device

I've got a number of video files that originally were imported into movies and show up in my library and in my device. because they are tv shows I wen't into "get info" and reclassified them as tv shows. they now show up in the tv section of my library but they don't show up under my device.
Did i miss somethign?

My iTunes library will not connect to my iPod, nor will it show the purchases made on that iPod from the last 2 years. What can I do to get that music on my laptop?

When trying to burn a CD, I realised that a LOT of my music (over 700 songs) are not on my laptop. I try and sync my iPod frequently however, a notice pops up saying 'erase and sync' or do nothing. Due to the fact the not all my music is not on my laptop I choose the option to do nothing. This has been going on for about 2 years now and I am struggling to find a solution.
All those new purchases that I have brought through my iPod in the last 2 years do not show up on my account settings nor as an option to download through iCloud. I understand this may be a simple fix, however I am not an expert in this field.
Any suggestions as to how to solve my problem are greatly appreciated.

My songs show up in the iTunes library but not on my iPod

I had my songs on my iPod Touch 3rd Generation for and I plugged it in over night. The next day I went to my music on my iPod and it said "No content available. Download songs from iTunes" I went to iTunes on my Dell computer and they are all there. I got most songs back except for ones I recently purchased.

This might sound weird, but here's an idea which worked for me re music that was newly added to itunes and showed up in my ipod but wouldn't play - I simply played the tracks in itunes first, just a second of time or so will do it, not the whole track, then connect the ipod and sync again and this time they played - hope this helps.

Artwork ... i can see in WMP but not in Itunes

I had all my songs with artwork when i open in Window Media Player...
Now i will have to use Itunes for my ipod... i will need to put all artworks in place again?
Should not have the same way as WMP that search automatic for the artwork in the internet?

Your facing 2 issues here.
1) In order to stop or atleast hinder Piracy, And to make record companies happy, iTunes has disable it loading artwork automaticly from CDs. To find out how to add it go here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93354
2) iTUnes attaches artwork to the songs ID3 tag, so wherever the song goes, the artwork goes with it.
WIndows media player on the other hand does not do this. It puts all artwork in a hidden folder in the same location the file is on the PC and links them together in aa database

On your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the ID you want to use.
If you're running iOS 7 on your iPod and old ID is your ID, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

first of all, no one is going to respond to this becuase limewire is used basically in your situation illegally. But let's say you import a cd, left click on the songs you imported and hit get album artwork, if nothing comes up, the album sn't in the itunes database, get it online. And I suggest never to mention limewire and music files on the same post here, since limewire is a file sharing program. Use Itunes, it's easier. theo

You must have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite and will not work in Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion.
