There is no legitimate (Apple supported) way to downgrad an iOS on a device. Have you tried downloading/installing a new (free) app. That works for many users with that problem.

First, contact the developer of the app and ask for assistance. Then if you cannot get the problem resolved, go to the following link, explain the reason for your request, including that the developer was unable to solve the problem, and ask:

I updated my ad to iOS 6 and now my App Store app does not work, how can I get it back
I updated my iPad 2 with the latest iOS 6 and now my App Store application does not work right. The only part that does work is the genius, and the purchased, but I cannot search for any new apps now have the categories come up. I don't know how else to search for apps, and I don't know how to download this as it was pre installed.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off". -
HT1933 The movie I downloaded does not play, how can i get my money back
I have downloaded a film and the picture has frozen and you can hear the movie start but nothing happens. How can I either get it working or get my money bak?
If this is on your iPad then you've tried closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
And/or tried a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If neither of those work, then depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the filme from the Videos app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films or if it re-downloads with the same problem then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page. -
Even when I go and get into sys preferences and choose sound - output and the only choice is "digital out" with the type being built-in-output the settings says the selected device has no output controls, so even when i try to change/increase sound I get a icon with a / through it indicating no sound control and no sound
If either of the buttons are broken there is no way to recover from a forgotten unlock code.
Correction: If you have previously backed up your phone to iTunes on your computer you can connect the phone to your computer and click the Restore iPhone button. This will reinstall iOS and remove the passcode.

I downloaded the pokemon yellow version app for my ipod touch more than a month ago and it is still not working. It has not worked for anybody who bought it. Why is it off of the app store now and how do I get my money back?

You've visited the developer's website and tried contacting them (there should be a link on the app's description page in the store) ? If you have and you haven't got anywhere with them the you can try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

I was billed for a renewal with eHarmony via iTunes that does not work. Eharmony said itunes claims the charge didnt go through but I have already been billed it is on my bank statement. Yes, I reported the problem using that exact sequence immediately after discovering the problem with the app. When I submitted my complaint and request, Apple redirected me the website of the app manufacturer where I submitted the same complaint/request for refund. I have not heard back from either, and was still charged, so I can only assume that is not the correct way to "Report a Problem" even though Apple would have you believe otherwise.
