My app went from working fine to: Id field not defined for cfc Path.to.my.ORMCfCPag when I restarted
Hi everyone,
I have a CF9 ORM problem that I haven't been able to figure out and thought I'd see if you had any idea. I have seen a few postings talking about a "similar" problem but none of them correctly resolved this particular issue. I appreciate any help you can offer.
I recently created a CF9 app where I generated scripted ORM CFCs for my app using ColdFusion Builder. It worked great and my app was completely working. However, when I was adding some enhancements, I ran into an error when I restarted the CF app server. Here's the message I keep getting:
"Id field not defined for cfc Path.to.my.ORMCfCPage. Either the table should have a PK column mapped to a cfc field OR at least one field should be specified as id."
My App.cfc file only had orm enabled (no other mappings) when it was working. I've since tried specifying things like the cfc location etc. and it still hasn't helped.

- When my app was working, I had moved it to 2 other servers. I had this error on both of those but not on my local copy. They all use the exact same database.
- The last change I made before the error was adding a generator="identity" field to my generated ORM beans. Once I got the message, I tried changing it back and restarting again but still got the error.
- I've also made sure all of the Adobe tags are in my web root (as suggested in a prior posting about this problem). I've search all over for a solution and nobody has a solution posted online that works so far.
Do you have any idea why this is happening?

Quick thought and probably not relevant, but do you have this.ormsettings.savemapping set to true in your Application.cfc? I've fallen foul of this before - once CF has generated the hbmxml files and saved them to disk you can make all kinds of changes to your code which won't make a difference as it'll continue to read from the file versions, but only for certain properties and methods at times it seems.
Long shot I know, but I found CF ORM to be a nightmare for seemingly random caching.

From Working Fine, to Wi-Fi not Working
I unhooked my router and modem to re-arrange the room. After reconnecting, me (Note 2) and my wife (S3) couldn't receive the wi-fi signal. It says "connection was disconnected for being too slow". Or, "your wi-fi connection is unstable". Is this because of the software update ? Anyone had this problem and fixed it ? Thanks.
First thing to try is turn off your phones. Then see if the connection shows up as before. Now another thing you can do is go into your WiFi settings and select FORGET network. Turn off the phones and turn them back on and see if you again get a notice of found new network. If you do click connect, enter your pass code and see if it works as before.
Lastly some folks here are saying WiFi is not stable after the update, if that is the case I would contact Samsung first and then Verizon to see if they have a fix.
I think my first suggestions should correct the issue.

My IPAD air that I use strictly for work automatically downloaded ITunes installation app and all the usual apps that come on with ITunes such as store, App Store, face time, ect when I downloaded the CHROME app for work. How to I delete all of these?
You can't. Those built in apps are not able to be deleted. The most you can do is to put them on a back menu page or tuck them in a folder.
They didn't come with the chrome app, they were there all along.
You can also go into the restrictions and enable restrictions and turn the apps off, which will make their icons invisible even though the apps will still be on your device. -

You have to ensure that your Technical System info is properly filled automatically.
In LMDB you first create its Product System on LMDB Start Screen ProductSystem tab, after that please assign its respective Technical System. You probably need to run the Verification Check in order to confirm that your Product System has all Product Instances according on Technical System's Software Component Versions.

I have iPhone4. It has been working fine. I have not rebooted my phone lately, so I just deleted a few apps and thought I would do a soft reboot. I held down sleep button and home button. I seriously don't know what caused this to start being a problem until today it worked fine, but I added an exception for popups from this one site in Chrome and Firefox decided it wouldn't allow it popups from this part of Facebook and no I am not allowing all the FB apps to have popups I never had to before

Thanks for the response. After all that time I started losing hope.
I would not say that the abvious solution is to remove the tag. I think it should not be put there in the first place if there's no code at all. Moreover, this only happens when exporting a MC from the Library, and it works just fine when exporting normally (publish). It seems more like a bug than an expected behaviour.
Also, AIR should check for actual code in this tag instead of relying only on the tag itself.
Your solution is a nice workaround, and I will certainly try that out. But as I said, it will not fix the original bug, it will only patch it later on in the process. -
I have an old iPhone 3Gs with software version 4.3.5, I am trying to use it again, and it works fine, but I have not been able to update the software. Every time I try, I get the following message:
"there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, the network connection could not be established". This happens even though I have a working internet connection.
Besides that, all the other functions work properly, even synchronize apps and library.

My old Photoshop CS5 works fine, but as I'm paying for CC2014 I would like to use it. If I open Photoshop cc14 without opening any image, I still get an error message that reads: 'Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware'.
There is also a link to the Adobe help site, but I'm not sure exactly what I should be downloading from there.

Since you have identified the 2 xml files are identical, according to my knowledge, there maybe a compatibility issue with IE 9 and SSRS 2008 R2, so I suggest that you could run the report in compatibility mode. Please make sure you have turned on Compatibility
View in Internet Explorer 9 by following steps:
When Internet Explorer recognizes that a webpage is not compatible, you will see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar. Try clicking it.
When Compatibility View is turned on, the button changes from an outline to a solid color when you view the page.

i am getting the same error with my rf transmitter that i use in my car- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Did this start happening after an iOS update? Sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility.
Sometimes this works:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Lightroom must be installed via the Creative Cloud Application.
It sounds like you have installed a Perpetual Licensed Version or a Trial Version of Lightroom. Uninstall any versions you have installed of Version 5 and then reinstall via the Creative Cloud App. -
my daughters ipod 4th gen will no longer charge past 20% and will not connect to a pc in order to back everything up. the cable is working fine, otherwise it would not even charge to the 20%. i have tried the reset to not lose any data and no luck, home+power for 10-15 seconds. I really would like to not lose everything she has, again, because I can't back it up this time. I have tried charging via a wall outlet and PC and both charge fine, just only to 20%. I am using the cable that came with it so no aftermarket issues there. Please help so I don't have to reset everything again.
Because once it has charged enough to be powered on as soon as you turn it on it says battery is at 20% and will not charge anymore after that, it just runs for about 5-10 minutes before the battery dies again. The battery cycles discharge/recharge daily and its not on the charger at full charge for more than a couple hours and is never totally dead for more than a couple of hours.
