My apple id has been disabled. I reset the password and changed the username and still get the same message...can someone help
I cant update my apps. It says that my apple id has been disabled. I have reset the user id and password but yet get the same message. Can someone help me find the missing puzzle piece
you need to contact itunes to get it enabled. they are a email base support group you can go to expresslane.apple.com and email them letting them know what its going on. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2446

I have 2 ipad 2s. On the newer one I could log in and update to IOS 5 withno problem. On the older one I get the message "Your Apple ID has been disabled." No other explanation. Why can I log in on one ipad and I'm disabled on the other?
Well, I spoke too soon. Yes, I'm using the same account on both iPads, but I just changed my password for the umpteenth time and now I get the disabled message on both iPads. Just yesterday I was able to upgrade one to IOS 5 but got the error message on the other. I'm getting more confused by the minute.

My "Apple ID has been disabled" keeps occurring even though I changed my Apple ID password, as requested to be the thing to do to solve this problem. This is also doing the same on my iMac at home... which uses the same Apple ID and Apple ID password as my iPad...What do I do now?

My assumption is the problem is i have a rather desirable account name: i am constantly receiving notifications of failed logins to my account, presumably by scripts trying to hack it. But i have a secure password, so no problem. But perhaps this has led to the account being deactivated?

Howdy. I keep getting a message stating that my apple ID has been disabled. I recently contacted my CC company, AMEX, for several fradulent iTune charges, which is probably where the problem first originated. How can I resolve this issue?
I had to dispute several unauthorized charges to itunes. My apple id was disabled after that. I followed jarnoldus's (older post) advice and it worked. Im duplicating his entry here with a few modifications. I hope this works for you.
1. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com
2. Choose your product (mine was ipad)
3. Click the "iTunes, App Store or iBooks" icon
4. Click "Apple ID account security"
5. Type in "apple id has been disabled"
6. Choose your country (mine was US)
7. Choose the "talk to apple support now" option
8. Provide the info they request (name, email, phone number)
9. They will call you right away.
Explain your apple id has been disabled. The rep will connect you to an iTunes rep. He/she will look up your account. You will be required to answer your 3 security questions. You MUST get a minimum of 2 correct. If you succeed they will enable your id. Good luck! -
