I know there is a command that lets you override this, does anyone know which buttons to press. I gather when you do this, a box comes up and pairs the two with a number you have to type in.

Its not command N either as that is a new window.
* Ctrl-click or middle-click the Reload button to open the current page in a new tab.
* Ctrl-click or middle-click items in the history of the Back and Forward buttons to open a page from that list in a new tab.
* Duplicate a tab with its history by pressing CTRL and dragging the tab to a new position on the tab bar.
* Dragging a tab in the browser window will detach the tab and move it to a new window, this is called tab tearing.
* Drag a tab back to the tab bar in the original or anther window to undo a detach or move a tab to a specific window. If a window gets empty (you tear off the last tab) then that window will be closed automatically. -
I have a canon printer with a mac computer. For some reason whenever I print something the ink on the page is all green not black like it should be. I put in a new black ink cartrridge but that didn't change anything.Does anyone know why this is happening?
You posted in the OS 9 & below forum. What OS X version are you using? What model Canon printer? Canon printers have a test print capability (open the Printer Utility). What happens when you do a test print? Are all the printer cartridges in their proper location? Sometimes when you print "black", the printer uses a mixture of the colors to get "black". In the Printer Utility, check the levels of the other cartridges. There may be one color that is clogged.

I have 4s. After I updated ios7.0.3 my wifi is geyed out. I expected after ios7.0.4 update wifi will work again, but does not. It annoying, because I have to use my data... Does anyone know when it will be fixed or does anyone have the same problem?

I made an appointment at the Genius bar, where the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. A representative told me that the wi-fi is broken and I would need to buy a new phone for $200, because mine is out of warranty. I'm due for an upgrade in a few months, so I'm not going to pay $200 for another 4S now. I'm also not going to buy any more Apple products. This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one. -
My MacBook Pro is really hot and the fan is on constantly. It didn't use to do this, does anyone know why this is happening? I have a very short battery life, so I have to keep it plugged in probably more than I should.
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu. Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order. If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time, then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.

My backlight will not turn off automatically. I have to manually turn it off and forget to sometimes and that drains my battery. Does anyone know how to make it turn of automatically after a few seconds?

Settings > General > Auto Lock
Is Auto Lock set to Never? Change it to less time. -
I'm trying to sync a playlist onto my phone through the computer and it says my device is already synced with another computer with my iTunes account. It only lets me cancel or it gives me the option to erase my contents and sync. Wondering how to get my device from the other computer especially since I don't even know what computer it's connected to.
At some stage is is likely to have been connected to another computer's iTunes. It is now linked to that computer's library and iPhones can only be associated to one library at a time. Linking to a different one requires wiping the phone.
If you used the phone with another computer you owned you can transfer the iTunes library from that computer to this one and the phone will still be syncing with the same library it was before.
If all there is on the phone are items which can be backed up to iTunes and purchases which can be transferred you could do that, then wipe the phone and sync them back. -

After purchasing Adobe Acrobat Pro my download window is painfully slowly and seemingly stuck. If i try to pause or cancel the download it stops responding completely. I have tried to stop/start, redownload, and start fresh several times...all with the same result. Any advice?
