Ipad2 gives me ""accessory is not supported" message w/ VGA adapter that I used lots of times before. Now it's not working. Why? and how do I get it back to normal functioning?
I used the (Apple branded) VGA adapter lots of times last year. Now I got back to one place I used it many times and it does not work. When I restart iPad with the adapter connected, I get the "accessory is not supported"message. But that same accessory WAS supported before.
This is very annoying as I planned a whole bunch of presentations starting this week to do with my iPad2 and that adapter.I received the same error message, "Accessory Not Supported" from both the VGA and DV video adapters I purchased, both were boxed direct from Apple. However, to bypass this problem I simply clicked on Photos icon on iPad2 and flipped through photos until it displayed on my projector. I then exited the Photos app and my home screen displayed fine on the projection screen.
Some logic issue with the video adapters, but launching Apple Photo app initializes the video adapters then they work fine for mirroring after that.

Ive restored my Ipod nano and the songs that I've already purchased are now not syncing to my device. How do I get those songs back on the nano?
Either redownload them directly to the iPod by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
or sync them to your iPod via iTunes

SusanHad you never backed up the phone before? When you saw the iTunes logo and cable, the device was in recovery mode. The data was already lost. The only way to recover from that is to restore the device, which will delete all of your data. You will only be able to restore to your last backup, whenever that was. Sorry this happened, but this highlights the importance of doing regular backups. The backup is the only protection you have against a problem like this.

You could try emailing iTunes support, giving them your order number, etc. or you could just take the hit and pay the 99p. I know what I would do.

I took my Ipad to my local Apple store as it would not d`load or update apps. They factory restored it,on icloud backup restore not all my apps were restored including some i`d paid for, they show up on my list of appsin icloud, how can i get them back? any help very welcome, thanx...Andrew
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I currently have 2 Iphone 4 s. Both are unlocked vervion from Apple. In the messaging app the camera icon shows but it does not show on the other. How can I get it to chow on both devices? Thanks in advance for your help.

it doesn't matter whether the phone is on or not to start with
Press-hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously.
Continue holding both buttons (Ignore the "Slide to power off") until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart.
You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo.

My wish list option is gone from original listings (on home computer). If I save it to my watch list I can then move it after the fact, but when I am on a public computer, it is right there in the grey box with the price. How can I get it back on to my home computer again?
Try to restart your phone by holding sown the sleep button until you get the power off slider on your screen. Let it shut down and then restart it by pushing and holding the sleep button again until the apple appears. If that doesn't work try syncing to iTunes.
And try to follow this article of how to recover deleted files from iPhone to have a try, which had help me retrieve my deleted photos back. -

If you don't find it: start the iMac while holding the Alt(option) key: you get the EFI menu, choose the recovery disk, reinstall Lion: this leaves the user data untouched. But as always: backup.
It will restore the system apps also.
