My apple tv will not authenticate my nba league pass login--I am in the United States and the same login/pw works for my iPad, but not for apple tv.

My NBA League Pass login cannot be authenticated -- I am in the United States and the same league pass name and password are working for my iPad, but not for my apple tv.

I have this same issue and am becoming quite upset. NBA has absolutely no contact information to call and resolve this issue. I just spent $139.99 and cannot connect to Apple TV, while the same login works just fine on my iMac and iPad. When I signed up, the information provided indicated that I could view live games on Apple TV. What the ****?

    I was sort of upset to hear that NBA TV is in fact not included with NBA League Pass. Everywhere I read said that it was and two verizon reps. told me it was until finally I reached tech. support and they said it wasn't. When I had direcTV and Comcast, NBA TV was infact bundled with league pass. Does anyone know what the cheapest possible way to get NBA TV would be? (i.e. cheapest package.)?

    I think the lowest price package with nba tv is the exterme pack.,maybe you should call or email some one at nba tv, because i also remember when i was with directv i got nba tv with the nba league pass, because i didnt have the package it came with ,but at the end of the season directv would remove nba tv,Then when the season started they would automatically add it again.It sucks that verizon makes you pay extra to get because i think nba tv is included with nba  league pass. go to nba .com and check it out i thought read somewhere on there website a while back that nba tv is included!

    A reset should help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off button at the same time for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo reappears, release both buttons and await restart.

  • ICloud Photo Library: How do I transfer photos and videos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone?

    I had iCloud photo libraey turned on on both my iPad and iPhone. As said by the feature, photos and videos were being transferred automatically from each device to each other. I have a 64GB iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 5 only has 16GB of storage so I am lacking much more space on my iPhone than my iPad. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer photos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone. Would turning off iCloud Photo library on my iPad do the trick?     iCloud Photo Library keeps all of your photos in the Cloud which you then can selectively download. So, unless you download the iPad photos, they are not going to be taking up any room on your iPhone:

    You can set the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Stores, but have different Apple ID's for Messages, iCloud and Facetime.
    Settings->iCloud->Apple ID->Sign Out
    Settings->Facetime->Apple ID->Sign Out
    Settings->Messages->Send & Receive->Apple ID->Sign Out
    Just go into Settings, and make sure the Apple ID set for those services is different for both iPads.

    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
    1. Turn off iPad
    2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
    5. Release Home button.
    ON COMPUTER
    6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
    7. Select "Restore iPad"...
    Note: Data will be lost

    Sorry, but Apps purchased from the App store are not compatible with your iPod classic.  Apps are only compatible with an iPod Touch, iPhone, and/or iPad.

    Camera works.  When I press to change to Video nothing happens

    Meaning that you cannot restart or reset the phone?  If you haven't tried already, try both options.
    Otherwise, you can do a backup & restore, or even a restore as new (only after a successful backup).
    If the issue persists, then look at a replacement. Either it will be a hardware defect (free if within warranty), or physical damage ($49 with AppleCare Plus, $149 without it.)

    First used of my Apple TV was good mainly using nba league pass fully subscribed. More than a month gone by it stopped the access. My tv screen shows hdmi isn't compatible to hdcp. What's my option to get back?

    Make sure HDMI cable hasn't come loose. Try a different port and cable. Reboot and/or reset the unit.

    Unforunately you can't.  Its like if you went to a video store there in Netherlands and bought a DVD then got it home and found out it was in Dutch and there is no other audio options.  There is no way to magically dub the movie in English. Your iTunes and iPod settings only govern your menus and preference IF alternate options is available already coded into the file, but most movies downloaded from iTunes aren't going to have multiple language audio tracks.  If you can't access the U.S. or British store and your kids don't speak Dutch yet, then you will just have to find some other way to get movies for them than iTunes.
    The reason for this is legal reasons.  In the United States I am only able to purchase videos authorized for sale in the United States.  In Britain, you are only able to purchase videos authorized for sale in Britain. Same with Netherlands.  Now, with DVDs you could get a regionless DVD player and order your DVDs from Britain or America to get English versions, but you can't do that with iTunes... No British address, no British store access.  No British store access, no movies in English.

    EDIT: OK I have what i HOPE is good news for you.. I double checked my movies and found out that they do in fact have two audio tracks! In my case, both are English, one being Stereo and one being Surround Stereo though   SO, when you open the movie, you should see a little chat bubble on the right side of the little popup menu at the bottom of the screen when you move your mouse.  Click that, and there MAY be more audio options there... If there isn't, then you really are out of luck.

    I am experiencing the following with NBA League Pass:
    1) On TV: I can watch all teams.
    2) On my iPad and iPhone with AT&T cellular data: I can watch all teams.  But this is too expensive, as one game will eat up 3 Gigs of data.
    3) On my computer, iPad, and iPhone with WiFi from Time Warner cable Internet: I can't watch my favorite team.  I can watch all of the 29 other teams, but not the only team I care about.  And that one team is 2,000 miles from where I live, and so it is not my local team and therefore it should not be blacked out -- but it is for all live and archived games. 
    4) A Time Warner technician came to my home today and found that if I hook up my computer and Time Warner router directly to Ethernet, I can watch my favorite team on my computer.  But this is not a solution, because then I don't have WiFi at all for anything.  The technician said the problem is with my Apple Airport Express WiFi device because it is somehow blocking my favorite team and he suggested calling Apple, but my Airport Express is just now out of warranty.  He also said I could purchase a new Airport Express.
    I work late and many times there is another team that plays on my team's channel for a later game, and so I need to be able to watch archived games on my computer or iPad with WiFi.  I know that games are not available for two hours after they are played, but for me all of my team's archived games are blocked for the entire season when I try to use WiFi.
    NBA League Pass said the problem is with Time Warner and claimed that the proof of that is that I can watch NBA League Pass games on my iPad and iPhone using AT&T cellular data -- and so that narrowed down the problem to WiFi from Time Warner cable Internet.  I can toggle back and forth from cellular data and see the game, and then to WiFi but the same game is blacked out.  I am not using a VPN that masks my location, but NBA League Pass said there is something about my WiFi that is misreporting my location.  I tried using NBA League Pass' tool that checks my IP address location, and it shows that it is local to my area as it should.  NBA League Pass said that when someone moves there is often a problem, and I did move six weeks ago 30 miles to a new Time Warner zone.

    I am seeking help from anyone who knows how to fix this problem with watching NBA League Pass on WiFi.  Should I buy another AirPort Express (I just bought one three months ago)?  Should I dump Time Warner and go to Verizon FIOS?  Or is there a setting I can change that would solve this problem?  Thank you in advance.
