My AppleTV says my iTunes password is incorrect, but it works on all other Apple devices. Help?
My AppleTV says my iTunes password is incorrect, but it is correct when logging in via my Macbook, iPad and iPhone. Do I need to reset it entirely in order for it to work on all 3 devices? This happened randomly without me logging out and back in, and I've already tried restarting the AppleTV. I really dont want to have to create another new password.
Change your router channel number. Most times this works & is all you have to do.

I'm having the same problem as well. I use keychain access often to remind me of my passwords and was happy (initially) to see one for "iphone backup". When I entered it I got the same error message:

No other choice, you have to restore to use your iPad.

When I initially try to sign in to iCloud, I get the "Account not verified" screen and I am told to check my email for instructions to verify. No email is ever sent. My ID and password work on all other Apple app's. Why not for iCloud?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. i've rebooted and deleted the acc and reinstated, still says the password is incorrect. i get mail but can't send. can anyone help please?

I understand that it can be frustrating when you can receive emails but cannot send them. In this situation, I would recommend using the information in the attached article to troubleshoot.

I have a new ipad2 for xmas . I have tried to sync the device to itunes and it is not being seen. I have the latest version of itunes, updated last night, and have several other devices that are seen fine (iphone/ipods).
When I connect the usb direct to the mac iphoto starts but then that is it - itunes will not recognise the device......

Your Mac is running 10.5.8 or later and iTunes 10?
You are connecting the iPad direct to a USB port on your Mac and you have tried every port?
You have reinstalled the Apple Mobile Device Service?

Firefox says "The Connection was Reset," but internet works in all other browsers
Whenever I open Firefox, it says "The Connection was Reset" on all pages. But, when I open Google Chrome the internet works without problems. I have already tried to change the proxy settings, but that didn't work.
Maybe also do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.<br>
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I just bought a new iPhone but i can't restore my backup files beacuse it keeps saying "itunes could not restore backup because the password was incorrect" but I really don't know where to put the password to restore it. I really have some files that are meaningful for me so I really need help. Any suggestions anyone?Select your iDevice in the iTunes.
Choose the Summary screen (tab) and scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Then un-select Encrypt iPhone backup.
iTunes will then prompt you to “Enter the password to unlock your iPhone backup”, enter the password you set originally. -

When using the iPhone with the Windows OS, you need to have the Apple Mobile Device Service running. It should start automatically when you start the computer, but sometimes things happen. Use this support document to try and restart the service. See if that helps.

Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

Cannot send email from iPhone...keeps saying smpt password is incorrect but it is correct.. I recieve email no problem
On my own, I discovered the following, which worked (one responder got the solution part correct for Google): For Yahoo, where I just use a standard login with no extra verification, I had to go into Yahoo and change my password. Once I did this, the new iPhone had no problem registering accepting my Yahoo account. I WAS, however, using the correct password and user name all along, for those who did not think that was the case. The problem is on the iPhone software side. For Google, I use a two step verification, and for that, one must go to Google Mail and obtain a specific, unique password, that is designed to work only on iPhones. Hope this helps anyone else with this dilemma.

I can no longer send or receive iMessages on my iphone 5. When I try to sign on to my iCloud account it says that my password is incorrect. i have changed my password four times and it still says i am entering the wrong password, which i know for a fact i am not.

I really can't comprehend the logic that leads to believe that password for old apple id will come to e-mail for new id. Buy may be I just misunderstood something. Contact Apple for assist with password retrieval. If you can verify yourself as account owner they may be able to help you.

Sending tiff files to PS6 Problem
