My apps are not syncing correctly

my apps show one thing on our computer and another on my phone, how do you correct it?

I am having the same problem. My phone will not recognize my apps or my ITunes password though I've changed it many times both on phone and in ITunes. I am so frustrated! I can't even download directly to my phone from internet because it won't take my password...even though I am entering it correctly!

I'm not sure why this is happening, but I think I'm seeing the same thing. Many times when I get an email on the iPad or iPhone with a picture attached, I don't see the picture but instead just a placeholder icon.
I have found a work around though to at least see the picture. If I forward it and include the attachment, I see the picture in the outgoing email. I can even save the image from the sending email if I really don't want to send it. If i do send it to myself, chances are I will see the picture in the email when I receive it even though it's just a resend of the original.

Half of my apps are not syncing to my Ipad 2. Any one know how to fix it?

It says it's not compatible with Ipad but when I check with the app's info, it is compatible with Ipad 2. Do I actually need to repurchase and redownload these apps on ipad 2 separately?
I've tried to go to the apps tab on itunes and select them individually then sync them again but the same thing happened again.
Itunes keeps popping up a window saying these apps are not compatible with Ipad.

This may not work but it can't hurt to try. Restart the iPad and then try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I have recently bought iphone 5. at the beging all my apps synced with itunes but now apps are not synced.

I'm having problem in syncing apps in itunes.

Would these be the iLife apps that are preinstalled on new Macs?
There is supposed to be a process of accepting these apps into your Apple ID account.
1. Be sure that you have enetered your iTunes/Mac App Store (MAS) Apple ID in System Prefs/Users & Groups/Password.
2. Open the MAS and sign into your account.
3. Check the Purchased pane, the apps should be listed with Accept buttons.
4. Accept the apps.
After accepting the apps you should be able to update them. If they are not listed on the Purchased pane of the MAS then I would return with the Mac to place of purchase and enlist their aid in getting the apps into your MAS account.

My apps are NOT syncing - HELP!!!

I have 7.02 on both my iPad and iPhone. I have Mavericks GM on my Macbook Pro. I download an app on my iPad and despite having the configuration for automatically downloading apps on my iOS devices, it is not being downloaded to my iPhone. Nor does it show up in iTunes when syncing my iPad with a cable to iTunes.
Essentially, no apps are syncing across my devices.
All other iCloud syncing appears to be working as expected.
I have two accounts, one for iTunes purchases and one for iCloud.
This has worked in the past but since iOS 7, it has died.

Songs are not syncing correctly

I'm pretty sure it's a bug in the newest version of iTunes or iOS but songs just aren't syncing.
When I drag and drop album to my iPod Touch 4G, either some songs stay greyed out and never finish syncing or they appear to be synced, but when I click on them they show the "!" mark next to the song like it was never synced correctly to begin with.
I wondering if this is a common problem with the newest iOS (5.0.1) or if there might be something wrong with my software.
My iPod has been freshly restored so I doubt it's corrupt or something. This is also very random because it will load many songs perfectly fine then just start acting up. I'm 100% sure my music files aren't corrupt in any way.

I manage my music manually as well. What you experienced was probably just a temporary fix. I can get mine to work to if I drag one album at a time to the iPod, but if I start just randomly putting albums on (like I've always done), that's when I start to get issues.

So, I could use help from people who know mre about this than I do. I did a sync last night between iTunes on my Mac (latest version of iTunes) and my iPhone 5 running iOS 7. For some reason, about 90 songs in one of my playlists have disappeared.
The songs are all checked in the playlist in iTunes
The songs were all on the iPhone playlist prior to the sync
I've tried a sync again both by hardwire and wifi
I added a song to the playlist on iTunes and the song appeared in the iPhone playlist, but none of the other 90+ songs came back
I haven't checked my other playlists to see what is there and what isn't (I have lots of music, so this would take days to verify).
I've thought about managing my music manually, but I would have to rebuild everything from scratch on the phone which would take days and I'd never get everything back to the right place.
In as much as I'm otherwise liking iOS 7, the new iTunes app for iOS 7 has been a real pain. This is what's really put me over the edge on it!
If you all have any suggestions that could help, I'd really appreciate it! The playlist I'm referencing most specifically is my most-used playlist and I'd love to have it right.

That definitely sounds frustrating! Let's give this a go to see if we can isolate the issue futher:
First, connect your device and choose the "Music" tab. Next, uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes (so there is ultimately no music syncing to your iPhone).
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

Playlists are not syncing correctly - music loaded on iPhone but not in playlists themselves.

Spent the whole day trying to deal with this iOS5 update on my iPhone 4. It got bricked, I had to restore it, and then couldn't find the most recent backup that I had. So I had to rearrange and re-add all my apps and many photo albums. Anyway, now I'm struggling with my playlists in the iPod/Music app (which I manage manually). in ITunes, I can view my iPhone playlists just fine, play all the songs there, etc. But when I look at the playlists on my iPhone itself most of them are completely empty. Some have some songs in them. If I go to the songs browser instead of playlist browser, however, I see all the songs; including the ones 'missing' from the playlists.
I deleted all my playlists and tried to re-add them to the iPhone. The same thing happens. A playlist will add, and show up completely fine in iTunes under iPhone, but on the iPhone itself the playlists are wrong (empty or missing songs).
Is this a bug? How can I fix this?

Having the same issue as well. The 4S is my first iPhone, but I've been using my 3rd Gen Touch since it came out. This is the buggiest iOS I've used and most of my problems are within the Music app.
The playlists on my phone do not match the playlists as they are on in iTunes. I keep having movies show up in my Recently Added playlist despite the "Media Kind is Music" filter on that playlist. I have music with 5 plays showing up on a playlist that excludes any music with over 4 plays.
Another issue I'm having is with creating new playlists. I can create a playlist, name it, and start adding songs to it. But when I try to click Done, it won't let me. I'll click the top left arrow to go back to the main page and it'll let me click Done but then all that songs I've added are gone.
Just a real buggy experience.

How is it possible that my events in calender are not synced correctly on my devices from one day to another?

Yesterday evening I was changing events in my calender of my ipad3, since then the syncing between ipad, iphone and Macs went weird! The changed items of yesterday are only on my ipad but not on the other devices anymore! What did I wrong? I did not change the calenders, just one repeat-event! Please help :-)

There is no way i can answer that, there area a million ways one person can spy on another in this day and age.
However if you were to wipe the phone and set it up as new plus change all your associated Apple passwords to ones your ex can;t guess, then I can say he couldnt 't tracking you through the phone. Wiping and reinitializing it would be the same as getting a new one so I don;t think you need to go through that expense.
However assuming this post is real and you are experiencing the situation you describe you need to contact the authorities. There is no way anyone here can know the true seriousness of the situation and to be giving advice on this issue is wrong. We could be causing you to fell a false sense of safety. Because of that this will be my last post here.
So please do what I recommended to the phone and then seek out the proper help.

VPP-Apps are not pushed correctly

I'm using OS X 10.10 with Server.app 4 on my Mac Mini (2012).
Well, I'm also using the Volume Purchase Program (VPP) to buy apps and assign them to users.
If I try to push apps to a device, it quits with the error "Fehlgeschlagen", what means "Failed".

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Smart Playlists not syncing correctly

All of my iTunes smart playlists are not syncing correctly on my 3rd gen. iPod touch. I have iTunes 9, and the latest iPod touch software (3.1.2) and nothing is correct.
For example on my "Top 25 Most Played" there are songs that I have listened to only once, and some, zero times! In the "Recently Added" playlist, there are songs that I added years ago!
How will this get fixed? I thought maybe 3.1.2 would fix it, but obviously it didn't. I remember this happened to me when I first got my first gen. iPod touch, but that sorted itself out in about a week. I've now had the third gen. iPod touch for a month now.

thanks for posting this link to Apple officially responding to this issue. although these are good workaround solutions, they are still just workaround solutions. it seems there remains a bug when the "live updating" option is selected for a smart playlist. this is one of the most obvious/major bugs I have seen in Apple software (and it's not that big of a deal, so that says a lot about the quality of Apple software).

IPhoto events not syncing correctly with iPhone

Basically, my iPhoto events are not syncing correctly with my iPhone. Some events will sync, whereas others won't, though no error messages are ever displayed.
I have all my photos, 961 photos in 34 events, organised in iPhoto, however iTunes doesn't seem to recognise all of these events, only reporting 881 photos. I've got iTunes set up to "Sync photos from iPhoto - All events" and this works for most events, but not all.
On my iPhone, I can tell which events are missing, but no matter how many times I restart my Mac or sync my iPhone, it refuses to sync the few missing albums. There is over 4Gb of available space left on the iPhone, so this shouldn't be an issue.
