My bookmarks are not only gone, I cannot add a new one or import my existing ones from presaved files. I have checked my profiles and I have only the default one.

My bookmarks disappeared just before I left for Christmas. Not having time to deal with it then, I found a copy of html bookmarks that seemed to be current and made a copy of it. This copy starts up Firefox and opens in a window. I can use it to get to my sites. However I cannot import it to my bookmarks. I also cannot add a bookmark in real time. Using your forum, I decided to add the plug-in Torbutton. It did not help and something keeps turning it off. I even tried to import my old IE bookmarks since they have not changed a lot. Everything acts like it has worked but nothing shows up.

No, I see the three areas at the bottom of the Bookmark area that you refer to, but that also highlights an issue. When I want to save a story to my Reading List and click on Share then "Add to Reading List" then go back to look at what is stored in the Reading List, my recently-saved item is not there.
I looked thru the History tab and the Reading List tab and have been in the Bookmark tab. But even when I Save a Bookmark, that newly-saved Bookmark does not show up in the Bookmark area.
But then again, the next day (and actually just in the last half-hour) all of the functionality came back. When I look at the Bookmarks, suddenly, again, all of the Bookmarks that are on my Safari browser on my iMac are now there, and I can now Save a Bookmark.
It keeps coming in and out and that is what is driving me a little nuts.

The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

Cannot add a new SHIP_TO address to a exist customer by using Interface

I am encountered an error when i am using Customer Import Interface to add a new SHIP_TO address to a exist customer,
the template format of the Excel i used like below: <will insert to table: ra_customers_interface_all>
Customer Num. | Customer Name | Site Name | Address | Site Use Code | ... ...
1 | oracle | AA | address1 | BILL_TO |... ...
1 | oracle | AA | address1 | SHIP_TO |... ...
1 | oracle | AB | address2 | SHIP_TO |... ...
I am able to import top 2 rows correctly, as those 2 sites with same Site Name AA;one is BILL_TO site and another one is SHIP_TO address; I tested for few customers, it can run correncty if the BILL_TO address and SHIP_TO address are same.
But when running import for the third row to add another SHIP_TO address<AB&address2> to the exist customer<1&oracle>,the error raised, it gave error message like below:
The Customer Number has been used by another customer,import failed !
I am not too clear about this error,i just want to add a SHIP_TO address to the exist customer<1&oracle> and don't want to create a new customer.
what should i pay attention to? please give me some tips,,,,,,

When trying to start Firefox I keep getting message saying "A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." I've started a new Profile but Profile Manager keeps telling me the Default one is still in use.

When trying to start Firefox again I got a message saying "Close Firefox. A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time." This question is addressed in Mozillazine but nothing I've tried from there seems to work. I started a new Profile from the Profile Manager which at least gets me up and functioning, but weirdly enough the Manager also tells me the old (Default) profile is still running, though I can't find a way to close it. I also can't find the Default profile in my profile manager. can anyone help?

Had this problem on my MacBook after I deleted my profile (the profile folder is named something like asd8f7as.default). The solution for me was to open profiles.ini and delete the information about the profile I had deleted. It should look something like this:

Delete, save, problem solved.

It seems lots of peolple were having issues before ML, but I as fine. Since ML, I am having all kinds of issues!

Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

Folder created, yet new bookmarks are not shown the folder as available

I created a folder which has several bookmarks in it. However, new bookmarks are not given this folder as an option for saving.

One possibility is that you are having problems with the bookmarks database getting corrupted.
I suggest as a precaution you immediately do a manual backup of your bookmarks and keep them somewhere safe outside the firefox profile or program paths, such as on the Windows desktop.

Have you created the folders within the folder unsorted bookmarks ? if so they will be at the bottom of a long list, look there first of all (note the very small scroll arrow-heads / triangles on the main dropdown list) ; if you do not find them then have a look at

First of all make sure your download is complete. If you bought the disk that gave you Snow Leopard, it would probably have been 10.6.3. That means you need to download and apply the 10.6.8 Combo updater and do some software updates too.

You can backup the bookmarks on the old computer and create a JSON or HTML backup and restore or import this file in the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks).
You can use an USB stick to transfer the saved bookmarks file to the new computer.<br />
You can also copy the places.sqlite file from that computer to have the bookmarks and the history.

Aurora 27.0a2 (2013-11-15) ModernUI - SYNC´ed bookmarks are not visible

Using ModernUI in Win 8.1 with SYNC seems to work on hand: Typing in keywords associated to URLs displays the right SYNC´ed URLs. But the bookmarks are not displayed.
In desktop mode the SYNC runs properly in all aspects.
How can I enable the visibilty of the SYNC´ed bookmarks on ModernUI?

You're using [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/aurora/ Firefox Aurora], which is a pre-Beta build of Firefox. These builds may contain bugs that will eventually be fixed in the Beta or Release version of Firefox.
In other words, Aurora is a test build that "isn't ready for prime time".

I figured it out. There is a new checkbox you must turn on in Word 2013 when export to PDF that allows it to convert items to Bookmarks when PDFing.

Yea bookmarks are not synchronizing. That's basically it. I'm tired of having to wait and hope for updates for things that should be a standard feature. I know there is a lot of magic behind a browser, but all i really need are the bookmarks i can open anywhere.

Not a problem. Come to think of it, Xmarks syncs across all browsers, but let's fix sync first. If you open the sync options on each of the devices that are set up on the new sync, please see this to verify each are on the new sync: [[How to update to the new Firefox Sync]], you can make sure "Bookmarks" are checked.
And if they are select sync now if there was a change. For debugging, it is actually not plural: 'about:sync-log' and these have to be turned on. By default however you should not have to do this and they are turned off as to not take up space, but to enable logs: in 'about:config' change the settings referred to here: [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Services/Sync/Getting_Started#Debugging_Sync]
