hi my brother was directed wrong in setting up his i phone 4s he set new i tunes up on different nan and account settings to make life easier i need to change the settings on there and attach it to another i tunes accont please help!

Yes, its best to have each individual apple ids. You can also go to settings, messages, send and recieve, start new conversation from, make sure there is a check mark beside each of your own individual email, not the same one on each phone.

And my iTunes sign in is also screwed up... It is underneath my friends email (the one with my backed up data on his Mac laptop) HOW DO I CHANGE THIS SO THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD APP's again...I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

I am trying to set up my new replacement phone and the iCloud account is using my old email that is no longer activated, so I am not able to reset my password in order to set up messaging, etc. What do I do??
Try to change your Apple ID back to your old email address (http://appleid.apple.com) in order to set up and activate the phone. After the set up please sign out of iCloud and turn off "Find My iPhone" (Settings > iCloud) - do that on all your devices -, then change your Apple ID to your new address again and then add your iCloud account on you devices again.

My Ipad has gone dead for over 24 hours now and I can not figure out what went wrong and how to wake it up. Apparently I assisted a friend to set up his new Ipad2 on my laptop, and don't know whether that was the reson for this serious crash?? Please help
Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds or so until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Then let go of the buttons. Ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen.
See if the iPad will restart by doing this. -

One of the 3Gs after it spent about 30 minutes in back up mode suddenly said it was unable to back up then i received a plug in to itunes message on it and the message I am receiving is to restore it to factory settings. So i basically lost all my information. I do not want to repeat this fiasco on my husbands phone which contains his business contacts etc. Please help!

Are you syncing anything (contact, calendars) with iCloud? -
My old laptop broke (idk what kind) and my iTunes was on there and now i got a new macbook pro. how do i get my itunes music and videos and etc. on this computer without removing them on my phone? please help!
If the old laptop was a mac also, then use your Time Machine backup to restore you user settings and files.

You will need to obtain the original Apple id ,that is the only way to unlock it

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo. -

If your iPhone 4s was backed up to iCloud or using iTunes, you can restore the backed up data to your new phone.

The personal hotspot is not an app or an icon; it is a setting. You must first have your carrier provision it, then you turn it on in settings. Most carriers charge extra for tethering.

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -

If not, then… they should leave because eventually good help will not be found. I expect that the OP will take the former option because I am an optimist and generally credit people with good intentions. I assume the ALL CAPS was a result of ignorance or inattention. This forum is intended for help with Photoshop. A posting called “NEW TO FORUM. PLEASE HELP” does nothing to explain your problem. A more proper post is something like “CS3: need help using clone tool with layers”. This helps posters understand your general problem right away so we know whether to skip it (if one is not very familiar with the Clone tool) or read and respond (if someone else comes along who is familiar with the clone tool).
Telling us the version is vital, since features and commands change from version to version and we need to know what tools and commands are available. Finally, once your question is answered you can mark it as answered. Later, people coming to the forum with the same problem can search and find your post, see it has been answered, and solve the problem themselves without typing a post and waiting for a reply.
Please read this before posting again so you know how best to not only find the help you need, but let the help you need find you.
