My (C:) drive went to nearly half the max capacity after complete factory restore.

So, about a month ago I recovered my notebook pc to factory defaults because of a strange issue that would not allow me to open up to the login screen. After recovery and the re-configuration of all my preferences and whatnot I noticed a few differences. The first thing I noticed is when I change volume or screen brightness via f2-3 and f9-10 I no longer get a screen apearance of the current level. But the second thing I noticed was that my pc memory unit now only had a capacity of 76 GB. I then used the manage computer option to find out how much my space should be. It does say 76 under (C but if I look down it says that the capacity of "Disk 0" is 284.07 GB. I am not sure what went wrong, but my only idea so far is that maybe my old files are still here somewhere on my pc. I did notice that when using the Xbox 360 network streaming ability I saw both my new file "Hayden-PC" and "Hayden-HP". Which immediately made me think that the files existed somewhere. This is a huge issue as my computer now gets slower much faster and I constantly have to go through and delete anything I don't need. Please repy as soon as possible.

Do you see a folder called windows.old on your C drive?
How was the recovery performed? List the specific steps and what media, if any, was used. I suspect you are correct in that the old Windows installation is still present, but this should not be the case if an official HP recovery was performed.
What is the exact model and product number of the unit?
NOTE: Do not provide the serial number.
Also, provide a screen shot of what disk management shows as well. This may provide some insight.
Go to Start, right-click Computer, and select manage.
Select Disk Management and maximize the window to show all it has. Windowed mode may cut off parts of it.
Take a screenshot of this and upload it in your next post. This can be done in the reply window by clicking the image icon and selecting browse. Be sure to chose the largest option for it.

You can't. Until the previous owner removes the activation lock, the device is useless to you; Apple won't remove it unless presented with proof that the registered owner is dead.

Your Apple TV should restart itself after an update or you should be able to do this from settings. If you aren't able to do either of these....
If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device)

Only half the keyboard works after sleep

I have a fall 2011 Air running Lion. It has a weird problem: sometimes (maybe 1 out of 10), after waking up from sleeping (closing the case - I haven't tried manually putting it to sleep - only the left hand portion of the keyboard works. At the login screen, all the left hand keystrokes generate their little password dots, and all the right hand keystrokes do nothing. I wondered whether there was some sort of genetic remnant from earlier macs with Num Lock keys or toggles between numbers and letters with the fn key. That's wrong, apparently, as I've tried using shift, option, fn command and a bunch of combinations to no avail. The only thing I've been able to do to recover is power it down ugly and then when I restart, things are normal again.
Remember, this happens at the login screen, so I have no menus to work with.
Anyone seen this and found a solution??? Thanks

Thanks so much for the advice. I was near an Apple store yesterday so I stopped in and one of the employees shut down the Music app completely and this resolved the issue. I could have sworn that I had tried that before, but it's possible I hadn't.

Closing Out of the Filming Screen After Completing A Movie

So here's my iMovie question- and I hope you guys might be able to help.
When I go to record a movie, it seems to work fine. When I'm done, I press stop- no problems and it appears as though the movie has been saved. This being said- I am not able to click out of the filming screen because of the little multi-colored pinwheel, and I don't know why it loads forever- if you all know what I mean. So what I end up having to do is restart my computer. Maybe I'm not patient enough or something, but how long does it normally take for the thing to go away once you've finished using it? Please just let me know!

Before anyone can help you one needs to know how long your movie is. What format are you trying to save it as? What model computer do you have, how much ram & space available on your hard drive do you have? From my limited knowledge & experience rendering,saving,exporting,shareing,printing, whatever the name off finishing the project is, it can take a long,long,long time to finish the movie. Sometimes 3 hrs. to save a 15 min project.
For sure don't stop the process while the spinning ball is whirling, that say's the computer is processing, for sure the project isn't finished. Must admit though that a spinning ball that goes on & on & on can mean it's crashed & needs a restart. Be patient is the best advice, if your computer is a couple years old, or you have less than 1.5 of ram or your hard drive is almost full( I think you need at least 20 gigs of space on your hard drive to work well with iMovie 09. I've even found that if your desktop is filled with files it can slow down iMovie.
Again a bit more info about your computer & your project will help others answer your question.

How can I install the programms again after a system restore?

After my system went down, right after installation of the programms with the Adobe Applicaton Manager, I had to restore the system. Of course by then all the installed applications weren't working.
I will have to reinstall them. But unfortunately I can't download and install the applications again because AAM thinks they are allready installed. Thus far nothing works. Who can help me?

Run the Cleaner tool to remove all the Adobe Software and then check in the AAM.

Nope, the Complete Digital Photography site is not correct. Aperture can access multiple Libraries in a single Volume (not simultaneously but you can have several Libraries in a single Volume).

Stuck at the "apple screen" after update and restore

I updated my iPhone 4 today to the iOS 7 version, everything went ok, after that i did the "Restore from Backup" option through iTunes, and all went fine.
After it finished the restore the iPhone made a restart, then turned on the apple screen, and after a few seconds apeard a line beneth the apple, it started to fill it in, and when it got to ~70-80% it stucked, for ~30 min already.....
I'v tried to restart the device, and its making the same thing, tried to connect to iTunes and make restore again, and it fails because the iPone is "Busy" with god knows what.....
Any solution for this problem????

Hi Kumar,
There are two solutions,
1. At the time of MIRO, you can give the exchange rate in the details tab screen which can be an exchanged rate which was used at the time of capitalisation. Hence, there will not be any differences between capitalised value and MIRO value.
2. You can post the difference in the AuC asset and again you can distribute it to an expenditure or an assets based on business process / decision.

Ipod touch 1st gen 16gb hanging at the apple icon after a failed restore from the ipod touch

I tried to restore my ipod through the ipod not itunes and it didn't finish,now the ipod is frozen on the apple icon and the little thing that goes around(?),my PC and itunes doesn't recognise the ipod and it switches off and on again after a few hours. I have tried press and holding the sleep and home buttons but that didn't work.
I also have an ipod nano and when I plug that in to the pc it recognises it,and opens itunes. Any help would be great,thanks.

In main page, having an emp-table and popup(which contains taskflow as region). In taskflow, iam modifying the emp-table data and after successfully completion of taskflow, want to refresh the emp-table present in the main page. How can we do this...?
Note:
(1) In Taskflow last activity is 'taskflow-return', where iam commiting all the data.After this i want to refresh the emp-table,(pop-up closes when it reaches last activity).
(2) Tried PPR in bean code of main page, it refreshes, but before commiting.
Something like, Refreshing the entire page either closing/hiding of popup, will help......?
