My camera won't open correctly when wanting to take a photo in a text after upgrading my hardware....
TThe camera isn't opening correctly when I want to take a picture in a text message.
Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

It sounds like you've restored Windows on your PC and iTunes is no longer opening and running normally.
I'd recommend using the instructions found at step 4 and 5 in this article to repair or remove/reinstall your iTunes installation:

I installed the new version thinking it would be the same, It was horrible! uninstalled it... Installed the older version and now it won't open and when I try it says it can't because the library can't open because it was used on a newer version. Come on! I just want my music! How do I open this and get my music back.

Thank you doesn't say it strongly enough, but THANK YOU b noir and Lorraine for your help. I was to the boiling point last night and starting to get there tonight. Now I am resting easy and thankful that there is a community of computer users out there who care enough to troubleshoot problems together and work together to figure out a solution--and then to take the time to post and share information.
I would STRONGLY suggest that anyone who is having the iTunes issues where iTunes just plain won't open at all after downloading the newest version and has a pc with Norton Internet Security 2005 try the "Lorraine Method."
I am so happy I think I might sing. Or not--I will let my songs on iTunes do the singing for me now that I can again!!!!!!!
And to those still looking for answers--be patient--I now know how incredibly frustrating this can be and I hope that you all find your solutions very very soon!!

I just installed Creative Cloud in order to download a trial for InDesign. I have the app icon for CC, but it won't open. When it was in my toolbar (on a mac) it just sat there loading for about 15 minutes. I tried restarting it but it won't open at all now. I also tried downloading an InDesign trail and it won't open at all. When I click for it to download an error message pops up saying Adobe is trying to instal malware and asks me if I want to continue. When I say yes, it doesn't do anything. I have a brochure that needs to go to the client by 4pm today! EEK!
Sydneybling it does sound like your security software is interfering with the process of installing and utilizing your Adobe Creative applications. I would recommend that you try temporarily disabling your security software and utilizing the directions listed at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html to install InDesign CC.

Hi, I was importing pictures into iPhoto from my sd card and suddenly iPhoto quit. Now it just won't open. When I click on the iphoto icon in the dock, nothing happens! Does anyone have a solution to this problem please?
As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
If it does then your current library has been damaged and should be repaired: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

i am having trouble with downloading videos from my Sony HDR-XR160 video camera. iMovie doesnt open up when i connect the camcorder. any suggesions?
Looking up your camera online, I found it is capable of 1920 x 1080 Full HD 60p Recording. It's the 60p (60 frames per second Progressive) that's the problem I think. iMovie '11 will do 60i (Interlaced). You might need to convert it from the format the camera currently uses into another format to get it into iMovie. I want to take the photos off my iPhone and put them directly onto an external hard disk - I don't have any room left on my computer. I want to bypass iPhoto altogether. When I link my iPhone to my computer, it only opens in iTunes, which only gives me the option to save my photos to iPhoto. Help! This is seriously frustrating!.
Additionally, I'd like to be able to take the 2000+ photos out of iPhoto and put them on a disk in a folder. I have managed to export them to the hard disk but it's just plonked all 2000+ photos in a list - not ideal if I want to use it for anything else. And then I have to manually delete the photos from iPhoto. Is there not a quick and easy way of dealing with this?
Anyone got any bright ideas? Thanks for your help!I too would like to be able to do this. Just put them where i want the. IFTT a scripting app will put the images in dropbox for you , but its been pretty iffy.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
Also, you might check to see if restrictions are on (and the camera turned off): Settings app > General > Restrictions. -

I recently updated my operating system to the Yosemite. Everything worked fine until i updated it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?
Program folder? In general backing up and restoring application folders is not going to work. Windows programs should be installed using the appropriate installation programs.

Having installed Aperture, iPhoto won't open. When I try it fails with the message "You can't open the iPhoto.app because it may be damaged or incomplete. Any help please?
OK, fixed it. Found that iPhoto is now BACK in the App store.
Found iPhoto app in Finder and dragged it to Trash.
Downloaded iPhoto from App store and all now back working again.
Didnt expect to find iPhoto in App store as last time I looked it wasn't available.

After updating my iPad my camera does not operate correctly. It will take about 5 photos then lockup. It also becomes very sensitive when I try to zoom in, it changes to "video or square". I have to turn off for awhile then it repeats the same malfunction, just lockup again.

have the new iphone 4s and the camera shutter wont open so i can not take photos it is only 4 weeks old dose anyone know why?
Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?
The next step would be to restore the iphone as new in iTunes. If that doesn't work, make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the nearest Apple Store.

On your iPhone you can pause the video at the frame you would like to take a still image and just press the home button and power button at the same time to capture whatever is displayed on the screen.
