I had the same problem in my client. The solution is you need to publish the URL to the internet and maintain the host name at the hosting server.
If possible talk with the IT Network guys and they can help you.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
Try This - Renew IP Address:
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

When I visit certain sites the links are broken, only with FF. Switch to IE Tab and they work fine, what do I do?

Two sites where this happens, that I visit often are mlb.com and woot.com
Here are the error messages:

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Why are my options to create a new version for ipod or iphone don't work?

I've just downloaded the digital copy of the little mermaid & in the end, it didn't wnt to sync, so I searched a little on how I can make it work.
It was mostly the same answer that I found everywhere:
select the File menu > Create New Version > Create iPad or Apple TV version. Once the media has been converted, sync the iPad version to the iPad.
But the thing is, I tried & my options when I click on create new version, they all stay gray, why? It is so frustrating

Select all the tracks of the album and *Get Info*. On the Info tab fill in the *Album Artist* e.g. as "Various Artists" or on the Options tab set *Part of a compilation* to Yes. Ideally (see link below) do both. If iTunes is organising your tracks then those set as compilations will end up in the Compilations folder, otherwise *Album Artist* overrides Artist.
You can edit these properties before you rip a CD (1), or for existing files (2 & 3).
For further details see Grouping Tracks Into Albums. Although aimed at linking things within iTunes/iDevices if you fix all the potential problems described therein it will also do most if not all of the work required to tidy up the folders in Explorer/Finder. Windows users may find that iTunes fails to move artwork files created by Windows Media Player for which I have written a script called CleanDeadArt.

Problems w/downloads(Only letting me download Extra Content, and the Serial #s don't work on trials)

I just bought Adobe Creative Suite 4 a couple months ago, and since the beginning, I haven't been able to download any of the programs from "licensing.adobe.com".
It gives me the download option for CS4 (Mac, which I'm on, AND PC). I click on the Macintosh option for the Production Premium, and it gives me a long list of things I can download. Of course, I just realized its only "Extra Content", which is why its only letting me download fonts, and "goodies".
I called Adobe, and they told me it would be OK if I downloaded a trial of CS4 and put in my serial number.... Didn't work. Three times in a row, it gave me a red X. So I did the trial version, and now I'm up.
I'm now in the middle of a major animation project without an animating software... Please help me....
All of this pain shouldn't cost more than $1,500.......
How do I fix it?

We used to have a virus and we have since gotten rid of it and we had a friend who is a PC guy fix it and clean up everything on the PC (for free). That one freebie is now gone, and we've been quoted $75 to $115 or something like that by another trusted PC guy.....but you know what, that money would better be spent being saved toward a Mac that can end this ****. So I am back to wanting to do it myself. I am so frustrated I could scream.
To answer your question, it's just with the iTunes....no other programs give us trouble. I tried downloading another program (I didn't know there WERE other ones till last night) for podcasts (it used to be called iPodder and is now called Juice) but I had no luck. I downloaded a podcast using Juice but couldn't get it into iTunes. I may see if there is another program out there.
And I don't mind running that netsh winsock reset command, but I don't yet know how to get to the command prompt...I'm assuming it's found in what we used to call "DOS mode" back in the old days before WYSIWYG. But I don't know how to get that prompt up. My problem is that I have such limited time to work on this stuff, and by the time my kid gets to sleep at night I am so exhausted and have better things to do....but it's worth it. iTunes and my little iPod Touch have been such a blessing to me. I must march onward....

Embedding an image works only for a few times, then I need to resize.

I am trying to use an image and I am having the following problem:
- the image is a png, 2000x2464 pixels
- I embed the image
- Everything works OK during the first few tries
- After some debugging session, without changing anything in the image embedding, the image isn't loaded anymore, or better, it seems loaded ( in the variables I see the istance of my class and it is not null) but the bitmapdata of the image is null, width and height are 0.
- Now, I resize the image to something smaller and i start again. Everything works fine again and the cycle begins again !
Here's the code:
In the declarations of the class containing the image:

In the initialization method that i call after construction:
        map = new mapClass();
        var bdata:BitmapData = map.bitmapData;

It seems to me that I am embedding the image as described in zillions of sites and it is actually working... for some times ! Then , after say 5 or 6 debugging sessions, I get an error evaluating "someNumber" because width is zero, and checking the local variable I see that bitmapData is null.
Resizing to a smaller image , saving said image and restarting solves the issue temporarily.
Any idea what's happening ?

The backlight still seems to be working (so goes from lit to darkened), but it sounds like the LCD is not working.

I can't clear recent history. It worked on 6.0 but on 6.0.2 I can't do this. Also my bookmarks are lost. How can I fix it? Old bookmark archives don't work. Error: Can't read data.

The day I updated my Firefox to version 6.0.2, I had some problems. The first time I want to clear recent history as "everything" Firefox cleared my all bookmarks and history page (Ctrl + H or Ctrl + Shift + H) but visited websites are still on address bar. They are on Firefox Menu > History section. Bookmarks are not important, how can we fix Clear Recent History function?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Material blocking working only in t-code Mb21 but we need from all ways i.e

we have blocked Material 2611315121 for doing reservations. while doing
reservations thorough t-code MB21 it is working fine(the system blocking
to create reservation) . But while doing any maintenance order for same
materail through t-code IW31 it was accepting i.e reservation creating
for that Material.as well as while creating reservation through CJ20n
also the s/m allowing to create Reservation with respect to that

System just works differently to MM.
It is check on good issue, than on the release.
Goo to transaction OMS4, click on your Material Status (e.g 01) and
verify if the field Plant Maintenance Message is updated.
For example, if you don't want any procurement from PM you must insert E (ERROR)
To show the blocking message, you have to add a 'B' in the field
'PO/network item msg.' and in the field 'Plant maint. message' in
transaction OMS4.
Check also that in MM02> Purchasing tab : Plant-sp.matl status is set accordly.

This is normal. The real 8.5 (or another beta) will have been released by then. The beta/RC usually comes out about a month in advance.
Unfortunately, Adobe hasn't come up with an easy way to go back a version yet, so you're stuck with it.

I cannot get my DAQPAC 6016 to work with Matlab R14, what driver do I need?

I've just installed the software necessary to support the DAQPAC 6016 usb device. Using NI software, the hardware appears to operate. However, I cannot get Matlab R14 to work with it at all. The following matlab line fails immediately: AI = analoginput('nidaq', 1);
I installed the SW and drivers that came with the daqpac which I believe is v7.1 or v7.3 (don't know because I don't have the actual labview).
I am stuck, where do I go from here?

NI currently has two drivers -- NI-DAQ Traditional (Legacy) and NI-DAQmx Measurement services. NI-DAQmx is the newer driver, and our newest boards are only supported with NI-DAQmx. That being said, the DAQPad 6016 is only supported in NI-DAQmx, and the Matlab DAQ Toolbox currently only supports Traditional DAQ.
Your solution, at the moment, seems to swtich to another appication development evironment (LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Visual Studio, .NET...)

Add-ons that work fine with FF3.6.13 in 1 WinXP SP3 computer don't work in this same model machine.

Among the installed add-ins are Ghostery, Google Shortcuts, IE Tab Plus, InformEnter, Lazarus, NoScript, and ZoneAlarm Toolbar. In the other machine, most of those put icons on the status bar; here only the last does (although I told others to). I assume the "problem" is with Firefox, not the individual add-ons.
Also (related?) all of the tabs are very small, showing only icons except when the mouse hovers over them.

1-8 & 10-11 were N/A or already OK. 9 MAY have been the right answer. Here's why "MAY":
I closed Firefox, then zipped & deleted the 3 listed files. When I restarted Firefox, this message popped up:
"Firefox has a built-in session restore feature. Would you like to enable built-in session restore and disable the Tab Mix Plus Session Manager?"
I chose Yes. When Firefox came back up, the add-ons' status bar icons and other indicia returned. I assume that corrupt config. files was the correct diagnosis, but thought I should mention the other possibility.

Friend installed lightroom cc and now cannot run Fishsim 2 (for general use and competitions)as it comes up with faulty picture files any work around to stop lightroom doing this He needs lightroom for his photo work and cannot uninstall it

Can anyone solve this problem as this is a world wide community (Fishsim) and its a shame that this person cannot fish our competitions

I do know that sometimes installing 1 program does interfere with
other programs and just because lightroom has not done it before
does not mean it wont do it.
The main problem is that fishsim has faulty jpeg files in it only
since LR installed and it wont load.

My website is not finished, still working on it in Dreamweaver. The animation is just slide in and was done in Adobe Edge Animate. The version of my IE is IE 11 in Windows 7. I use creative cloud version on all Adobe software.
