My computer crashed I am trying to reinstall adobe photoshop elements. I Have done the set up but it is saying my order number is not valid.
Please help.

    At what step during the installation are you getting that error?
    In general, use Task Manager to close any running applications before installing.

I purchased the softward from a camera company called B&H Photo but they don't do anything but ship. I have the external box with barcode but not the internal box with serial number.     Ned, the page you just gave me is where I started. Clicking on "Adobe Elements 12" opens a table describing the product with links because of the way it's set up, I thought the table was inviting me to download the Japanese version or the German version, but no English!

    I am trying to uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and receive a 1316 error.  The account already exists.  What?  I purchased and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 and want to remove the older version.  Nothing works.

    Downloaded the trail versions and installed.  Had to do the trial versions because I no longer have the serial numbers.  Once I reinstalled, I was able to uninstall with no problems.

    Trying to install Adobe Photoshop elements 8 (that I bought a while ago and never installed) on my MacBook Pro, Intel Core 2 Duo, OS 10.6.8.
    When I insert the PS Elements Disk, a PSE page came up with Read me etc which I read.  I clicked on the blue PSE folder and a window with Bootstrapper.dmg came up. I clicked on that and a window opened asking me to type in my administrator passsword to allow Setp to make changes, which I did, twice... and then nothing happened...
    Is there something else I am suppose to do? OH, another mounted drive appeared in Finder with a long name... "EFBB...........". When I opened it, it had an assets folder  and two .js files (whatever they are)...
    What more do I have to do?

    I think I figued it out... But why installations instructions didn't come up when I inserted the disk was very annoying. And because they didn't, Adobe should post th installations instructions somewhere on their support site. Not here now, which is also annoying.

    You could try downloading from here

    Download and save both files to the same folder then double click on the file2 (a .exe file)  to start the unpack of the other file. May take a little while to get going.
    Or you could copy the contents of the DVD to a memory stick on the PC with the DVD drive and then use that.

      OK. I didn't have any problems when I reinstalled it last year. But it's probably the version of Explorer that is loaded now. Perhaps the Dell representative I'm working with can help me out with this when he calls me on Sunday. Otherwise, perhaps I can use Paint, which came installed on my OS. I'm a typesetter, not a graphic designer. So I really only need an image-editing program for cropping figures that come in from the authors. I'll check it out. I'm not in a position to spend more money than I absolutely have to at this time.
