My computer crashed, now with new computer, how can I retrieve my purchased itunes songs?

My computer basically gave out, and with it went my itunes and my entire music collection. FOrtunately, most is still on my iPod. Now, I'd like to retrieve the music I purchased on iTunes; how do I do this?

Well if you don't have the laptop to get the storage drive out of it, and you don't have any previous backups how do you expect to get the photo's?
PhotoBooth is just a program, it stores the files on the computers storage drive, if the computer is lost so are your photo's.
There is nothing you can do to delete or retrieve them using your new computer unless you stored them online someplace.
DId you save them online? iDisk or something else?
I don't use such services because my data is mine and not theirs to snoop through, so if your looking for that sort of help I can't assist you any.

I have saved all my datas of my old iphone on itunes and icloud. I got a new phone 4s that I connected to itunes in order to load it and sync with my old datas. but I don't konw how but when itunes sync my new iphone i did not take my old datas. at the end of the sync process, I got an iphone totally virgin, but none of my previous apps, neither contact neither calendar neither anything. what happened? did itunes erased all my previous datas?? i hope not but if it's the case, can I recuperate my old datas through icloud? please help because as a lot of us, all my life is in this iphone.. It is probably not wise to leave your e-mail and phone number on a public forum.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
You purchase one download only.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

Bought new computer- how do i get all my itunes song off old computer and onto new one?

i recently purchased a new computer and installed ITUNES on it. Once I put in my APPLE ID all my purchased songs showed up (songs i purchased through ITUNES on my old computer). Here is the problem, my old computer has around 800 songs on it from cd's that I owned and downloaded those songs into ITUNES. Now i want those songs on my new ITUNES on my new computer but don't know how to get them there. I have tried the following so far:
- Tried syncing my ipod and ipad to the new computer but each time I do this the new computer ITUNES wants to wipe out the 800 songs and just put on the transfered purchases songs.
- Tried 'home sharing'. When I did home sharing with both computers on and ITUNES opened all the songs showed up on my new computer but as soon as I closed out ITUNES on the old computer the 800 songs went away on the new computer and it went right back to the songs I purchased.
Please someone tell me there is an easy way to take all these songs I have on ITUNES on the old computer and transfer them to my new computer and ITUNES without having to bust out all these old cd's and sit there and re-burn them all on the new computer.
I have in addition to this all ready authorized my new computer with ITUNES so that is good to go. Any help would be appreciated...

Unlike music you can download apps multiple times. Go to each app, download it (ignore the price) and after you click it will tell you that you've already purchased the app and ask if you want to download it again.

Icloud is made up of many services. you may choose to use or not use any or all of these services. One of the many services it provides is that it allows you to redownload past purchases.

As you should. That is why, if you have lost your comtent, you should redownload that lost content from icloud to your computer and back it up, using the directions I provided to you.

Does not matter at all. You do not need an icloud account. Forget you ever heard the word icloud. Perhaps if we stop using that word, you will understand. Itunes now allows you to download your past purchases again - instead of the one download only rule that has existed orior to now. You can download your purchases to your computer again.
You seem to be getting hung up on the word icloud, so imply forget you heard it.
Follow the direction in the link I provided to download the songs, etc that you have lost. Once downloaded, they will once again reside on your computer where you can back them up and sync them to device as you always have.

If you are in a country where films can be re-downloaded and they aren't from studios that don't allow it and the films are still in the store then they should appear in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app. If they don't then have you got copies of them on your computer and/or on a backup that you could resync to the iPad ? Hi Grecia Leon and welcome to Apple Discussions.
Some word processing applications, MS Word for eg, auto save as they go. Try opening the application and go to 'File' in the Menu Bar, then 'Open Recent' from the drop-down. Your document may be there. If not I doubt there is any way of retrieving it short of expensive professional data recovery.

How ccan I redownload my music to the same computer. Downloaded, then deleted, now i tunes won't let me redownload, because I already downloaded. If I go through and try and repurchase the songs it will download them for me but I don't want to have to do that 250 times.

You need to delete the broken entries first, then the tracks will show up with the iCloud download symbols in your purchased histroy and IIRC you can download them all in one go.
