My console is no where in sight

I need to look at the Console in order to get feed back from my Alias (Autodesk) Maya 7 Mental Ray renders. This feed back is crucial in generating optimized renders, but I cant seem to find the console on my machine anywhere. I used spotlight to search my machine for the Console, and it only brought back console.logs.
Im hoping to find it somewhere on my install DVD.
Or is it possible to just drag/drop from 10.3 (I have multiple machines)?
Im away from my machines right now, so I thought I would ask you guys first.
Any thoughts?

Syntax errors on LinkedIn - need to copy error console log. Where can I find it?

LinkedIn has been generating multiple compatibility errors since Firefox upgrade to 3.4 and now 3.6.13. I can see the errors in the error console but the console won't let me save or print the full report.
Where can I find this error log file? I've searched in the folders under applications and Mozilla Firefox but don't really know what to look for in that folder. Nothing looked like a .log or error reports of any kind.
Anyone know where to find this file or better yet; how to set up Firefox to have this compatibility go away when on the LinkedIn site?

Final cut express 4.5 is no where in sight after update

I just did a software update this morning and now my final cut express will not open. Suggestions?,

As Al says, FCE 4 only ever had one update to 4.0.1 and that was to add support for AVCHD.
Whilst still a workmanlike app, FCE is now completely obsolete and will never receive any further improvements.
If there are no obvious reasons for it malfunctioning you could try trashing the preferences with this free app:-

Where do Java Embedding "System.out.println()" go? Where is Java Console?

Assume I embed a "Java Embedding" object in a BPEL process
and write the following Java code into it:
System.out.println("Hello BPEL");
where does this text go when executed? If I remember it well there must be somewhere an AppServer console.
But where is it exactly ?

The out stream is generally redirect into files in applications servers.
OC4J : $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/<your_group>~<your_home_name>~<your_group>~1.log
WebSphere : $LOG_ROOT/SystemOut.log
JBoss : $SERVER_LOG_ROOT/server.log

Users created in SBS Console don't show in Active Directory Users & Computers

SBS 2011 - created users in SBS Console, but they don't show in ADUC. The newly created accounts seem to work as expected (user can login, Outlook account setup works). Have ADUC 'Advanced Features' enabled, tried searching for a user, right-click
on domain name, Find, user - doesn't find anything. Any suggestions appreciated.

SBS Users are not in the typical location in the ADUC Console, here is where they should be:
Open ADUC
-Domain
     -My Business
            -Users
                 -SBS Users

Bpel control console opens very slow (10.1.3.4)

I have Oracle SOA Suite 10.13.4 (+ MLR #7 patch) installed at HP-UX itanium server. From the past two days, bpel console takes too much time open on almost every page. Few days before this problem started i had changed the JVM settings by increasing the count to 2 (from em cosole) for improving performance, but that made bpel console very slow. So i decided to revert back the JVM settings and made JJVM to 1 again for oc4j_soa and then restarted the server. Bt even now the bpel cosnsole takes ages to open (almost a minute) for every page of console.
The AS control cosole and web service manager console works fine and this issue is with bpel console only.
There is no load on server at present.
Please let me know how i can trace out the root cause for this issue. Is there any way i can increase logging level for the bpel console application and where i can view that log ?

Please ask your DBA to check how ur Dehydration repository is behaving. Worth checking ORABPEL and ORAESB schemas.
To me, you might need to purge instances and related data. But please check with DBA first.
Also, while opening BPEL Console, monitor Memory/CPU on Application server and DB server.
They may give some hint.
You can also use tool like JRMC, JUnit etc to see the JVM usage.

Where does System.out.println("") send info?

Under normal java execution it goes to the java console... where does it go when running a servlet under Tomcat on localhost?

Output is written to the log file whose location is specified in server.xml. The default is the /logs directory under the tomcat root.

Where does Java output go in Firefox 4 on Mac OS X?

In Firefox 3 on Mac OS X, when I start an applet that produces output via System.out or System.err, it goes in ~/Library/Logs/Java Console.log. Where does the output go when I start an applet in Firefox 4? It's not the same file, or Firefox' Error or Web consoles.

I wanted Favicions in 3.6 so I found a plugin that would let me do just that. No I have upgraded to 4.0 my Favicons are still in the bookmarks bar but I can't seem to find the original plugin, weird. Is there anyway I can find out why this is working for me?

Where is my first tab?

Upon opening Firefox, there is only one "+" tab. When additional tabs are open, they display the full webpage title and can be switched between by clicking on the tab/title. The original page is no where in sight. When I close all the "viewable" tabs, I end up with the original tab. I can only switch to the original tab when multiple tabs are open by clicking on the menu to the far right (also containing "tab groups"). I have not set any app tabs. Also, when I open a second window, the problem does not occur in that window, but if I close all windows, and re-open a new one, the problem is still there. (I am running Mac OS X 10.6.8, and just updated to Firefox 6, which is when I first ran into the issue)

No more than 10 client computers appear in WSUS 3.0 Admin Console

I installed WSUS 3.0 SP1 on our SBS 2003 R2 Premium server a few days ago. I've noticed that the WSUS admin console will never display more than 10 client computers at a time. In fact, I've got roughly 16 clients that get used daily.
I've used the ClientDiag.exe tool to confirm that an invisible client actually does has connectivity to the WSUS server. Group policy settings have flowed through to the clients as well. When I took a quick look at WindowsUpdate.log, it seemed to confirm connectivity to the WSUS server as well. If I run: wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow on an invisible client, the client will then show up in the admin console, but at the same time, a previously displayed client will disappear from view. 10 clients seems to be the upper limit for admin console viewing.

This is a classic symptom of duplicated SusClientIDs caused by cloning an image with an already present SusClientID.
Delete the SusClientID registry value from the registry key
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate
on EVERY PC
and reboot (or restart the Automatic Updates service)
and THEN run wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow
which will force the WUA to generate a new (unique) SusClientID and reregister with the WSUS Server.

Where is OEM web site?

I'm using Oracle 9i Database R2 on Win 2000
I can start the OEM console with Management Server without problems. Even launching from a web browser is OK (it's the same console). But where do I find the "other" OEM web site, the one where I can manage OC4J instances and such, as described in "Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE User's Guide", Chapter 2? What product is this included in?
I also installed Oracle 9i AS, but no difference. My Apache server and OC4J instance are running OK.

You didn't; .Mac does it for you. Just type web.mac.com/.MacUserName into your browser, and hit the return key. Your site should come up.
Locally, your site is in a single Domain.sites2 file in your Home folder's Library/Application Support/iWeb folder.

Where is the mail.log in Leopard

I can't find the mail.log in the console logs. Where is it?

I don't see anything in /var/log named mail.log. What am I looking for?
The details in Mail Connection Doctor would be perfect if they are logged somewhere. I'm fairly new to Apple and see they log just about everything else.
I'm having intermittent password issues with Mail where it does not connect to the mail server and I have to enter my password even though it's stored in the keychain. I'd like to see a connection log that I can look over to try and find the problem. I think it's a problem with my ISP. The error does not happen on a regular basis and I've never had Connection Doctor running when it has happened and thought there might be a mail log somewhere.

BAM Console not opening

I am not able to login in my BAM console. The Logic=n page is coming but after giving username and password its not opening the next page. My bam server is up and running. Can anyone please suggest what could be the issue with my BAM console. I am using following URL for accessing BAM

1. Check the log files / console output from where you started your bam server. Look for any errors / exception stack traces.
2. Also if I am not wrong, only IE supports BAM Reports. So I hope you used IE and not firefox browser.
3. Do you get any invalid username/password errors when you login.
4. Try with admin username/password to login.
5. Have you done all the basic configs for BAM Reports like setting outbound connection details, host,port, etc for OracleBAMAdapter module form Weblogic console. From EM Console, add proper users/groups to BAMAdminRole and any narrowed down users to access BAM Reports etc.

Admin Console Question

Hi Experts,
if I goto user--> resources--> ad resource--> view and then goto child table to view groups that user belong to it shows some time 's all the groups on child form some times it shows blank record but underlying table has record. in the database but admin console wont show where do I make change?

if A user has 6 groups on database; it is showing 6 records on admim console but some are records 1,2,5 are visible some are records 3,4, 6 are empty not showing on the child form; if I run group lookup recon will that fix.
