My contacts on my Mac Book Pro do not match my mobile and iPad
I am using iCloud for my contacts but for some reason I have contacts that show up on my Mac but not on my mobile nor on my iPad.
But if I delete a contact on one of my device it does get deleted on all of my other devices, same if I edit one contact.
What's the issue ?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.

Thanks for your reply. This video was recorded by my own professional camera, Sony PMW EX 3, two years back. But I am neither a professional cameraman nor an editor. I am just like a beginner in both. I didnt have space in my storage device, so I just copied all my clips, thinking I can edit it latter, without recompressing or editing or whatever I should have done it at that point of time. Now I need to edit it and use it in my profession. I am very upset. Please help me in going step by step to get it in FCP X for editing. Also I would like to know, do I need to buy the Compressor 4 for any reason. I dont mind in buying, if you think it is going to be useful for some reason. My 3G unlocked iPhone is not syncing mail or contacts from my mac book pro, using Lion. I am able to get a calendars and music, only. I get the message that I need to reset the password which I have done 3x's on the phone and on the Apple server.
Good to know that, but what can I do to get the mail and contacts downloaded from Icloud onto my Iphone? I am told that the password needs to be reset and I have erased and reset it 3x's already? Should I Restore All Settings or Restore Network Settings or will that result in a situation where I have to have it re-unlocked again? GRACIAS!

On an iOS 7 device
In the Photos app, tap Shared at the bottom of the screen, then tap Streams at the top of the screen.
Tap the shared stream whose subscribers you want to manage, then tap People.The Activity stream doesn’t have subscribers.
Do any of the following:
To invite more people, tap Invite People, enter email addresses or tap the Add button to select from your contacts, then tap Add.
To remove a subscriber, tap the subscriber, then tap Remove Subscriber.
To choose whether subscribers can add photos and videos, tap Subscribers Can Post.
If the subscriber list doesn’t include Invite People, you don’t own the shared stream.

Mac book pro will not connect to wifi.
problem; mac book pro wont connect to wifi, reset router & rebooted. no help...
other mac book pro is working fine, as is iphones & ipads. this is isolated to the 1 device.
every time i run diagnostics it says the network configuration has changed, then prompts me
to enter password then takes me back to the orginal screen.Solution may be found if you search in the "More Like This" section over in the right column.
First contact your ISP. You need to confirm that the issue is not on their end.
Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
Unlock the padlock
Locations: Automatic
Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

No internet connection (wireless)
Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

There is nothing wrong with your Dell, it will work fine with any MacbookPro. I have been using Dell displays for over 12 years with many different Mac models. I have two 21" Ultra Sharp displays working side by side to design a Keynote presentation right now.
The issue your having is with the way Keynote takes control of the video output to both displays, it sends the presentation signal to one and the presenter display to the other, this is set up in;
Keynote preferences > Presenter display.
If you want to show a wesite or another app on either display, use application switcher:
press the the command key on the keyboard, then the tab key; a row of applications will show what applications are running, choose which one you want to show. Use command > tab to return to Keynote. -
My itunes library in my mac and mac book pro are not the same, depending on which machine I loaded the music on. Isn't icloud and match supposed to solve that problem?

I have OS 10.8.2 and use wireless at home just fine.
When I visit a friend with only a cable modem internet my Mac Book Pro will not connect.
I see that the Mac Book Pro is picking up the internet when I check the internet preference section but it will not open Safari.
What do I need to do connect via a cable modem?You need to power off the modem for 15-30 seconds, then power back up and then connect. The modem is remembering the last connection (your friend).

My mac book pro does not connect but shows an error message with a question mark on the screen.I took it to a retailer that said it was not reconizing the hard drive.He said i needed a new hard drive but it may be something else as well but he was sure a new hard drive would fix it.So putting faith in someone who deals with them i purchased a new hard drive to find it was still not working although he said the computer did know reconize the hard drive and i may have to send it away to get it checked .After already paying 120 pounds for a new hard drive and they wanting another 80.00 pounds to diagnose it i am a little sceptical.

I think that your Mac detects your hard disk, but the problem is that your new hard disk doesn't contain any operating system, so your Mac doesn't find any bootable partition and you see a question mark.
If your Mac came with DVDs, insert the Mac OS X Install DVD and hold the C key while your Mac is starting. Then, just install Mac OS X. If the hard disk isn't prepared to install Mac OS X, you will have to erase it using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html -

My mac book pro will not fully boot up. I have the grey background with the apple sign and the timer going round...but 20 minutes later still no desktop
You could try doing a hard shut down (holding the power button or yanking the battery) and then doing a safe boot by holding the shift key at startup:

Also, not sure if this applies in your case, but I've had that happen when there's a USB drive inserted either in the computer or a connected external keyboard. I did a hard shut down, removed the drive and it went through a normal start up. -
