Have you got the NoScript add-on installed? That deals with turning on Javascript on a per site basis (it disables Javascript but you can enable it for chosen sites). If you have, then you'll need to change it so that either NoScript allows adobe.com or you can temporarily allow the site (right-click on the NoScript icon to change). Anyway, the NoScript website will have further help if this is the problem.
If you don't have this add-on installed, then we'll need to check whether a setting in about:config has changed. about:config is Firefox's advanced configuration tool (so be careful). Open a fresh tab, enter "about:config" (no quotes) into the address bar, click the warning button (there be dragons), then enter "javascript.enabled" (no quotes) into the search bar of about:config, which should find the relevant setting. If Javascript is running, then its value should be set to true. If it's set to false, then you'll need to double-click the entry (or right-click and select toggle) to set it to true to enable Javascript.

It's always okay. Hackers try to find ways to attack it, Adobe fixes it. Just like Apple releases patches for flaws that have been found. Just like Microsoft constantly releases security fixes for its OS and other software.
No software is perfectly and forever safe, and unlikely ever will be. The only thing you must do in respect to the Flash Player is to only ever get it directly from Adobe. Never, EVER pay attention to any third party site that pops up a message about having to update flash. Especially if it tells you to download said update from their site.

As to why flash isn't supported, Apple don't want it : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
And Adobe never managed to make a version that worked on iOS and have since stopped devlepment on all mobile versions of it.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites have their own apps in the App Store.

The log file indicates there are permissions issues on a couple of files and they are not being removed. This is preventing the installation of the new version. Please run the uninstaller, posted here Uninstall Flash Player | Windows, and post an updated FlashInstall.log file, and a screenshot of the files remaining in the /Macromed/Flash directory after running the uninstaller. Please only run the uninstaller and do not attempt to re-install at this time.

The iPad does not support flash. You must be visiting a website which requires flash to work. Unfortunately, there is no direct way to access this on the iPad. You can, however, download some apps like Skyfire browser to help with these (supposedly they work, I have never tried as I do not need flash).

Ah ok now i see its a way more than an icon replacement, Well what program did you use to use this theme? For example "candybar" has a restore button.

I just updated the software on my computer and now i cant download adobe and silverlight on the internet. It says they are both installed but i cant use any applications that need them. I have been able to use all programs that have used these items before u updated my computer

It sounds like the Finder application is not functioning correctly, and quitting unexpectedly. I would start by trying a Safe Boot, then testing the issue to see if Finder will stay open:
