As you said above, yes, I did find OC4J config issue & EM Config issue and resolved them. But still I couldn't get my DBConsole started.
Yes, I was able to drop DBConsole<sid> service using 'emca' repository drop. But, when I started recreating repository for DBConsole service, I wasn't able to do it. I tried several times but in vain.

I reloading LR onto a new lap top. I have the orginal LR 1 disk with correct Serial #. I have downloaded it, every time I try to open the program I get the "Do you want to buy or I have a Serial Number Page". I fill out the page include the serial # accept terms and enter. All fine and good seems normal. When I try to open LR I get the damn "Do you want to buy" page. I do I get past this BS?
What version of LR are you trying to activate? A serial number for LR 1 will not activate LR versions 2 - 5, but it will enable you to purchase LR 5 at the upgrade price and activate it.

With certain movies I have downloaded digitally through Itunes or certain movies through Netflix played through Apple TV, I am only getting partial sound. I am missing one or more sound tracks. Am I missing something in the settings for Apple TV?
Are you using a stereo receiver or surround sound system for the audio by chance. What you are describing sounds like a receiver that is not setup correctly, or does not have the speakers connected to it correctly to support Dolby surround, 5.1 or 7.1. Which is why it is only happening on some content. It would only be on the ones that are encoded to support Dolby audio.

I am having trouble with the "numbers" app on my MacBook Air. I go to print my document and that works just fine. I cannot however return to the document after printing. What do I have to do?

Not to worry, you're not the first to expect Print to finish by returning you to the edit mode. The thing is that Printing is so hit and miss with this version of the app, you will probably want to stay in the Print window for more than one attempt.

My Desktop Mac won't startup, it turns on to the grey screen flashing question file. I have been able to startup from the snow leopard install cd but once I try to repair within DU the disk never appears in the side panel. The only thing there is "Media"... What can I do? Help!
If Disk Utility cannot see your drive it doesn't look good.
You could try DiskWarrior. It is expensive but can often fix directory structures where DU cannot.
Replacing the drive is also a strong likelihood. If you don't have a fairly recent backup, then it might be worth buying DiskWarrior

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

If you have never connected the phone to iTunes and backed it up or used iCloud to backup your data, it is lost at this point.
The only way to get back into the phone is to restore it.

After a re-install of OS X 10.5.8 uninstalled the E71 in iSync and moved it out of the bluetooth-device list first and completely re-installed it using the bluetooth manager (SystemPreferences/Hardware).
No extra thirdparty-software involved and ever since no problems.

Querying on a value and using that to pull other data in the same query
I am having some issues pulling the correct data in a query. There is a table that houses application decision data that has a certain decision code in it, WA, for a particular population of applicants. These applicants also may have other records in the same table with different decision codes. Some applicants do NOT have WA as a decision code at all. What I need to do is pull anyone whose maximum sequence number in the table is associated with the WA decision code, then list all other decision codes that are also associated with the same applicant. These do not necessarily need pivoted, so long as I can pull all the records for a person whose highest sequence number is associated with WA and all of the other decision codes for that applicant for the same term code and application number also appear as rows in the output.
I do not have the rights in Oracle to create tables, so please pardon if this code to make the table is incorrect or doesn't show up here as code. This is not the entire SARAPPD table framework, just the pertinent columns, along with some data to put in them.

I have gone into the user front end of the database and verified the information. What is in the output is correct, but it doesn't have other decision codes for that person for the same term and application number.

Are you sure this is what you're actually running? There are errors. such as referencing a column called termcode_entry (starting with an underscore) at the end of the fragment above. Make sure what you post is accurate.

There's an analytic LAST_VALUE function as well as FIRST_VALUE. It's simpler (if less intuitive) to use FIRST_VALUE in this problem because of the default windowing in analytic functions that have an ORDER BY clause. -

I have just download some songs from the iStore and want to add them to the iPod, BUT when I try to sync it asks if I want to delete all content from the iPod and add only the material that I have just downloaded from the Store. I do not want to lose my old content, because it is very extensive.
You are trying to sync to other than the one iTunes library you can sync to. You can copy music from multiple library/computer if you use the manual method of syncing. That method is described here

If you want to make this computer/iTunes library your syncing computer/library you have to restore the iPod on this computer/library. Restoring erases the iPod.

Measuring digital signals coming from the HSDIO (PXI-6542) with the DMM (PXI-4070)

in attachment you can find the program I'm using for my measurement: I'm generating and acquiring digital signals with the PXI-6542 and at some trigger point of one of those digital signals I'd like to capture the measured values on a plot with the Digital MultiMeter (PXI-4070).
It does work if you configure the generation repeat mode as continuous, but if you do have a finite repetition (repeat count is 1) it doesn't react on the trigger, as if it can't find a trigger. On the other hand, if you have a finite repeat count of 30 or more it does react and triggers correctly again.
First I though it had something to do with autocalibration before the measurement takes place, but If you do a highlight execution (stepping through the program) it looks like it measures before the generation session is initialized.
Is there a way to measure correctly when the repeat count is only 1?

JürgenHey Jürgen. I apologize that you haven't gotten an answer yet to your post. I looked at your code and had some questions. What is the source of your trigger to your DMM? I see that you're exporting the data active event to PFI1, and your comments indicate that PFI1 and PFI2 are connected to give you a start trigger for your digital acquisition. Exporting the data active event with a finite or continuous pulse should only give you a single edge per run, though - you wouldn't get a pulse each time. Is your trigger coming from a data line? I didn't see any line in your included data that would indicate a single pulse.
The other thing that I noticed is that you've got no timing dependency between your HSDIO code and your DMM code - they're in parallel with each other. Thus you could get different results run-to-run, since it's not deterministic as to which parallel "thread" that LV will start on first. LV may switch back and forth several times, but let's say that LV reaches the HSDIO Start command before reaching the DMM Start command - in that case, the HSDIO device may finish it's entire operation before the DMM ever starts looking for a trigger, and thus never get the trigger at all. I'm not sure why this would explain why you're seeing the finite case work and the continuous case not, but I wanted to point it out because it could bite you down the road.
I hope some of this this helps get you going in the right direction. I'd also suggest posting HW-centric questions in the appropriate form. There are Digital forums and DMM forums that might help you reach people that will be more familiar with your particular hardware.

Regards, PulseSolYou can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed. So, yes, you'll need a sim card to activate the phone. The sim itself need not be activated, but it must be valid & present. While you can remove it, after the phone is activated, I recommend you don't. If you ever need to restore the phone, or update the iOS, you'll need a sim card installed to do so.
Make sure whoever is furnishing the phone to you, follows the directions here, before you get the phone:
