My daughter pressed a pop up on her ipod touch that she is now receiving my texts/imessages meant for my iphone. I still receive my texts/messages, but she is receiving them as well. I believe somehow my phone number is now affiliated to her ipod touch. Please help!!!
On her iPod go to Settings>Messages>Send And Receive and delete your phone number and email address) if necessary)

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I have two sons with ipod touch 4th gen. One has access to our wifi, the other does not. Any ideas????
Try manually entering/searching for your wifi access point under the "Other" option. Also, if you have lots of devices connected to your wifi, you may have reached your limit. (e.g. the airport express has a max of 10 while the basestation may have 50. Check your packiging on whatever router you have, may help.)

Make a new Apple ID for her.
Use it on her iPhone 4S for iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.
Use your ID on her iPhone 4S for iTunes and App Stores.
Sign in with your Apple ID on iTunes Store (on iTunes app of her new computer)
Authorize her new computer with your Apple ID in iTunes (iTunes menu>Store>Authorize this Computer)
Check "Share my Library on my Local Network" in iTunes Preferences in your and her computer
Sign in Home Sharing of her iTunes with your Apple ID.
Copy all the Music she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Copy all the apps she wants from the old computer to the new one. (Must be on the same network)
Export all playlist as xml files from the old computer to the new one.(right click on the playlist to export and "File>Library>Import Playlist to Import)
Sync her iPhone 4S with all content she wants from her new computer (all data from the old computer will be deleted)
Are you sharing Contacts or other data from iCloud?
Be careful or ask for help about moving from iCloud account to another one. -

To change your iCloud ID or password you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your other ID. If you need to migrate any of your daughter's iCloud data to your account, choose Keep on My iPad when prompted, then choose Merge to upload it to the new account. If not, choose Delete from My iPad.

Thank u for ur reply. I'm sorry I didn't explain myself fully this is all very new to me and my daughter it is very annoying when, u are trying to set up something and u haven't a clue what u doing.
When I set her up on the iPod I gave her my apple and iTunes account and email address so now when she wants to buy anything on her iPod she uses my password and email address. When her friends message her they come through on my iPad because we share the same email.
What I want to do is keep my own email and apple account for my iPad but set her up with a new email address and iTunes account for her.
Will the games and music that she has bought with her iTunes card be gone on her iPod if we set her up with new account. -
