My Digital Copy download (of the Lord of the Rings) on iTunes was interrupted and now will not re-download. How do I download my movie, or who do I contact to help me fix this issue?

I downloaded a digital copy of the Lord of the Rings' and during the downland, iTunes quit. When I restarted iTunes the download was gone; when I tried to reenter the digital copy redemption code it said it has already been used. How do I get my digital copy of LotR back? I lost all three movies in the series (as they were downloading simultaneously) and I would really love to have them on my Mac.

Java will not work on the computer all of a sudden. Now when I go to open a Pogo game room up i get a Mozilla red lego piece in the corner saying "Some plug ins have been De-activated for your safety, in the box will be "Java (TM) platform SE 6 U". I have done the click here in last sentence and all it wants me to do is download Java7 which was the first reason it was not working.
Hopefully I have explained this well enough, from Mozilla this is what I get BUT if I go to Internet Explorer (which I HATE) the Java6 and Java7 work perfectly fine. So apparently the Java is downloaded correctly I just can not get it to play nicely with Mozilla and that is my main goal.
EA games help page has gone through it all with me and have proven over and over (after 1 hour sessions, 45 waits for them) Java is working on my computer perfectly with IE just not on Firefox and with the rural situation I have become dependent on Mozilla because of the no fiber optics here it has been my best and only source of successfully using the internet here in the far out part of the country.

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

CRIO startup directory was typed STARTUP and now will not boot. How do I recover from this error or how do I rename the directory when my proxy server is read only due no startup files?

I loaded files on the cRIO but used upper case letters for the startup directory. Now I cannot access the RIO since it didn't boot. The proxy server comes up read-only so I can't reload the files or change the directory. I tried the RS232 port but I can't get it to respond to commands even though I can see the processor boot.

Hi, Firefox on my desktop keeps crashing at just random moments. Sometimes not very often at all, but other times it can happen a few times within an hour.
My Desktop Window Manager also crashes regularly and the dialogue box always pops up saying its stopped working. However, this doesn't seem to effect anything.
It could be realated though, as I just had this desktop built a few weeks ago and a few times it's crashed as well as programs.
If anyone can help me fix this issue with Firefox, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I will try to disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player as you recommended and hopefully this will work.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

I really do not think it is the iPad or your network connection. Other users have reported this very same issue. Try this and see if it works for you - it may not work - but it's easy to try - harmless - and it has worked in the past for others.
Try signing out of your account and restart your iPad.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store> Apple ID and sign in again.

The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. -> click the Favicon (small drop down menu icon) on Firefox SearchBar (its position is on the Right side of the Address Bar) -> click "Manage Search Engines" -> select all Unwanted Search Engines and click Remove -> click OK
-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extensions section -> REMOVE All Unwanted/Suspicious Extensions (Add-ons) -> Restart Firefox
You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

My 06' Macbook Pro crashed with vertical, green pixelated lines and now will not advance past the turn-on screen with the apple filled with green lines as well. Then, it says to hold down the power button to restart. I have tried several times to get it past this point but tnothing helped.
I have an appointment at the Apple store today, but was wondering : will all of the information and files on my desktop be lost? Or is this a logic board problem?
Any help is much MUCH appricated.

I'm not sure, if you're out of warrenty it'll cost quite a bit for the replacement of the logic board replacement...unless you have apple care. you could ask apple to try and recover your hard drive but i'm not sure.

My MacBook Pro has been wiped and locked. It is requesting a PIN consisted of four numbers only.
Who do I contact to help me solve this problem?

I do not know what really happend. however, my Mac is requesting a four digit PIN to open and I really have now idea what those numbers might be. when I contacted my son, he sugested that it is locked or wiped. I have all the official and required papers to claim that I am the rightful owner of the product.
