My email account that I registered for my iTunes account has been locked by Microsoft and cannot unlock. What now?
When registering for a new iTunes account you have to fill in an existing email account.
The problem is that my account has been suspended by Microsoft and I have no way to recover it,
which mean if I want to do something with my account, I cannot.
What should I do?
Have you looked here:

I have a Disney Mvoie Rewards account that is connected to my iTunes account. I have downloaded digital copies of movies I have purchased before such as Thor: The Dark World, but I recently purchased Saving Mr. Banks and it is not loading in my iTunes movie Library. How do I get it to load there once I have redeemed the digital copy code and have confirmed the two accounts are connected?
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time and make sure it is correct, including time zone.
Have you looked at the previous discussions listed on the right side of this page under the heading "More Like This"? -
Basically, the credit card that I registered my iTunes account with, I cancelled the card, now I'm trying to enter my new card but it keeps saying it's invalid. I purchased with this card today. The card is fine. I entered the numbers correctly several time. It won't let me download anything even free things until this is fixed, but I don't know how to. Please help.
If you still have your old card listed on your account then try selecting the 'none' option and remove it and then try entering the card's details from scratch. If that doesn't work then what is the full error message that you are getting, and the card is registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing) that you have on your iTunes account ?

Can 2 users have the same email login with different passwords for seperate itunes accounts
My daughter is currently using the home email address for her account and i have just purchased an ipad. I would like a seperate account. Is it possible to use the same email address as the login and have two accounts.
Thanks
Tracey (a mum who is trying to catch up with technology)It is possible to have two different Apple ID accounts and have a common contact email address, if that is what you are asking. The potential problem is that the Apple ID is in the form of an email address so it can cause some confusion. It would probably be best to actually own the email addresses that match the account IDs.

I would like to delete the "inbox" screen from coming up when I open Firefox. I might help if I could speak with a person.
Hello BassoonPlayer,
Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

Please help, and forward the answer to [email protected] as well.
Thanks.Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -

I came upon registering for an iTunes account but the only payment options it gives me require a credit card. Our family does not own a single credit card.... What do I do now? Please help!!!
We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
If you have a credit card on your account then it will need to be valid. If you don't have a card to replace it with then have you tried removing it from your account ? On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.
Changing payment info : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1918
If you don't get the 'none' option on the payment details screen then do you owe iTunes anything or have any pre-orders/subscriptions due : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5366 ? -
Hi - I'm trying to register for an iCloud account (I've just had a baby and am terrified I'm going to lose all my photos of him!) but when I try and register, it tells me it needs an email address so I go to edit my username and try and amend it so my email address and username are the same thing but nothing is happening. I keep going round in circles - can someone help?!
Where are you trying to amend your username?
It should be done at http://appleid.apple.com/ -
I just created an iCloud email and I want to use that email for my iTunes account as well. I need help switching the old apple ID because I do not remember anything associated with that email and I don't know the security questions or the login for that old email.
You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)? -
I forgot my password for my iTunes account and the email that is associated with my iTunes account no longer works. How do I recover my password and be able to change my security questions?
Forgotten Security Questions / Answers...
See Here > Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security
Ask to speak with the Account Security Team...
Or Email Here > Apple Support iTunes Store Contact
More Info > Apple ID: All about Apple ID security questions
Note:
You can only set up and/or change a Rescue Email Before you forget the questions/answers -
Is it possible to make a rescue email for an iTunes account that is currently in use? If it is how do I do it?
If you know the answers to your security questions then steps 1 to 5 half-way down the page that you posted from will take you to a screen where you can add one.
If you don't know their answers then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset you can then use those steps to add a rescue email address for potential future use -

I have three iPhone 4 models purchased in late 2010 (for my family) that all share the same iTunes account for access to apps and music, but each phone/user still has his/her custom contact list, email accts, and select lists of apps and music from the one iTunes acct library. The problem is I can only update the software on one of the three iPhones – the primary phone I used to setup the iTunes acct. What is the best solution to manage these devices for software updates, apps? This is probably a common problem with families wanting to share apps and music without realizing the issues created by this approach. As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. Hopefully, someone out there can help me?? Please?

How to remove the old email address that was hacked from my iCloud account when iCloud won't let me?
Pretty much the the email that I used (but didn't verify) to create my iCloud account was hacked and now I can't remove it from my iCloud account due to the iCloud password also being changed by the same person and the fact I had "Find my iPhone" app on my phone also??? I had to change my iTunes email as well but that was far easier so yeah :S.
Please help. I live in NZ, out in the country, so reception is rare and so is getting into the nearest town that has an Apple Store.
ThanksIf you truly change your existing Apple ID's email address to a new email address, follow these instructions: iOS 7: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
If you created a whole new Apple Account because you couldn't access the old one after being hacked, you will need to contact the Apple Account Security Team. Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security

Why does Birthday without Year in iContacts Display Age in iCalendar?
