My email accounts on my iphone 4s show the message titles but won't display the main message. How can I view the main message?

I am stuck. I recently travelled abroad and changed the settings on my iphone. I thought that I had changed them all back but messages in my mail accounts show the titles but when I click into them the main message doesn't download. Is anyone able to tell me what settings I need to change to be able to view the main messages?

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

If it has been Disabled after entering the wrong passcode - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.
Unfortunately, you must restore it in iTunes on your computer. There is no way to retrieve a forgotten pass lock code.
You will need to Restore your device from the same computer that you most recently synced to. See - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414.

How can I view the same emails from the same account on two different computers.

I use 2 office computers and want to see all my Thunderbird emails. I dont need to use them at the same time, but want to be able to see the emails and responses from either computer? How can I direct the path do do this? Thanks for your help? Janet

Launch Safari on your iPhone.

I actually had no clue what the core problem was caused by. So it's Windows itself...that helps some.
I'll resubmit there. It might actually have saved time for it to simply have been moved to there instead of off-topic, though I suppose you have to follow protocol.

How can I view the photos contained in a backup without restoring my iPhone?

I've had a new iPhone for a while now, and have recently remembered that I had backed up quite a few photos on iCloud in the past. I can see that my backup takes up a lot of memory through the iCloud app for windows.
My question is: How can I view a backup without using it to restore my iPhone. I don't currently have a mac, only PC and and iPhone.

If the backup is local (not iCloud) you might be able to using a 3rd party tool.

If you need to change the primary email address associated with your iCloud Apple ID, see "How to change you Apple ID and primary email address" here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE68. If you change the name of your ID you will need to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your new credentials. Deleting the account will only delete the account and your synced data from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, you data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in. If you have any photo stream photos on your phone that are over 30 days old, save them to the camera roll before deleting the account (open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

I assume this is Apple Mail. Try this:
Preferences > Accounts > your-first-account
Select Outgoing Mail Server of account/name you wish to use and check Use only this server
Repeat for other accounts.

Windows based WD external hard drive not showing up in Disk Utility to reformat to Mac... how can I erase the drive

We have a WD external harddrive previously used with a PC that we want to completely erase and reformat for use with our iMac desktop for use with Time Machine. The drive shows up on the desktop of the Mac, but it does not show up in Disk Utlity, assuming because it's Windows format. Outside of the standard "erase" feature in Disk Utility, is there any way to reformat this drive for Mac OS X? Or how can I get this drive to show up in Disk Utility? Note: The drive functions properly, has power, and we are able to view its current contents through the desktop icon, so it is a working drive. And we are ok with losing all the current data on the drive.

Hmm strange, I had just moved my external Lacie drive from my windows machine to my iMac and it was showing up in disk utility still formatted fat32 or whatever. I would disconnect the drive and restart the machine then replug the drive and try again.
Also not that it will make a difference ( I dont think it will but hey why not ) try accessing disk utility from the install disk?

Project/Albums show as having pictures, but won't display the pictures.

I have a Project and it has two albums listed (indented) underneath it.
I have moved them around a bit to put them in different folders, and now the pictures won't display. By that I mean that if I mouse over the project, a popup (or flyover) says there are 129 versions, but no pictures show up in the browser window. Same thing for the album.
The files are referenced files and the files are still in the folder in the same location on my hard drive so I could delete and then re-import, but I'd lose my keywording, any other metadata tags (ratings), and my adjustments. I really don't want to lose those.
Any ideas?

Sometimes moving projects around can create invisible filters, check Frank Caggiano's User Tip: Images not appearing in browser, search filter is cleared
But your long loading time is suspicious: Have you imported any new images recently? Long loading times can be caused by a corrupted image or video in your library; then you need to identify the broken image and remove it.
Also can long loading result from a corrupted Aperture Library that needs fixing. DId you have a recent Aperture crash?
Have you already tried to repair or rebuild your Aperture Library? See:
