My file names have disappeared in grid view. Thery have been replaced with a dark bar along the bottom of the previews. If I toggle using the command u it hide the bar but I still can't see the file name. In list view all the file names are OK.

The dark bar is caused by the option "Show metadata below image".
Check the settings for the metadata overlays in Grid view (basic and expanded) by clicking the little "badge" icon below the Browser and selecting "Edit". Is the filename still enabled in the list? And in a high enough position to have precedence for other metadata tags, if the space does not suffice to show all selected tags?

A website I frequently visit will no longer come up. Safaris says that my connection has been lost but it hasn't. I even get emails from the website but I still can't get on it. Why would it all of a sudden do this?

I downloaded nds4ios for my ipod touch and now it's acting screwy. I deleted the app and reset my ipod but I still can't access either Itunes stores, send messages, or access the internet. What should I do?

I have downloaded several files from a radio stations archives. They download as MPEG Audio Layer 3 files. When I go to the playlist that they are supposedly in I can not see them. But if I click Start on my desktop and type in the file names then iTunes opens and takes me to the playlist (where you see no list) and begins playing. Any idea how I can get the list to show?

when i click on a video say on Facebook i am asked to download the latest version of adobe flash player which i have but it still keeps asking me any ideas ?
You are downloading the Flash installer, which I think itself downloads another installer, which may again download something else that has to run. Adobe's installer is one of the worst pieces of software on the PLANET.
That said, the problem is that you are not actually running the installer and letting it update Flash. Doing so will force you to quit Safari in the process.
Go look for whatever Adobe downloaded to your Downloads folder and run it. -

At the present time, the only way to clear that is to restore the phone as new. Perhaps a future iOS update will give us the option to clear that cache.

Lion is required to see the iCloud Preference Pane: this is an upgrade, not an update, and has to be paid for. If you want to install Lion, go to the Mac App Store and purchase and download it there ($29.99).

Some of your user files (not system files) have incorrect permissions or are locked. This procedure will unlock all your user files, reset their ownership, and remove their access-control lists. If you've set special values for those attributes, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Are you viewing a HDTV? Most people see a reason for viewing in HD. I particularly see that as being so for many if not most FIOS TV users.
I haven't seen the IMG 1.9 on SD TV's. People may see the new color scheme or exact font as poor and others may see it as an improvement. When I see it at a friend who had the Sneak Preview, the fonts size seemed about the same size to me. And in one of the threads someone posted all the guide screens, and again they do not appear to be any screens where the font is so small it can't be read even in the SD versions.
The new guide was meant to fix a lot of complaints that people had as well as to add features. Among the problems addressed
Old screen guide had the last channel cut off by TV's as it was outside the so called Safe margins.
Top line of guide (perhaps on purpose) was completed obscured by info on what channels were being displayed (favorites etc)
Next 3 lines of guide were partially obscured by the small image of the current program
only 1 1/2 hours were displayed
guide didn't fill whole screen on 16x9 TV's
Guide is too dark. Yes, many complained about that and that led to the new lighter scheme that people now complain about.

I want to transfer music from my Ipod Touch to my car. I found out that I had to partition the Ipod to do this. I attached it to my PC with the USB cable but couldn't see it in the Disk Manager window. Googled why not and saw that I had to select Manually Videos in the Summary section on Itunes. This was already ticked off (selected) and still can;t see the Ipod icon in Disk Manager. What else can I do to partition this Ipod?

Run iTunes on your computer. Show your music library by Song in list view. Add the columns for Bit Rate, Kind, and iCloud Status to the list view.
Any song that is shown as Matched for iCloud Status, that is NOT already 256 kbps (or higher) for Bit Rate can be downloaded from iCloud at 256 kbps AAC. For example, if you have an old album from a music CD that you ripped years ago at 128 kbps MP3, and it is "matched" by iTunes Match, you can replace the lower quality files you have now with 256 kbps Match AAC audio file (which is shown for Kind).
To do so, select the song, or a set of songs, on the library list. Press Delete. Confirm you want to delete the song (but do NOT check the box to delete song from iCloud) and choose to move song file to the Trash. The songs remain on your iTunes library list, with a "cloud" download button next to the song name.
Click that button to download the song from iCloud. Because the song is Matched, you get the replacement as a 256 kbps AAC audio file, instead of the original 128 kbps MP3 file (or whatever lower quality format it was before).
You can go through your iTunes music library, and replace lower quality Matched songs with higher quality versions, thanks to iTunes Match. -

what do you see when iPhoto opens?

where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?
