My former Firefox Profile and bookmarks are missing after a Firefox 29 update - how to get them back?
I've tried all the Mozilla support articles without success.
Where are my bookmarks/passwords/etc. saved in my Mac desktop computer?
Help!!!
It is possible that there is or has been a problem with the profiles.ini file that registers all profile and that a new default profile got created.

If you sue the Time Machine on your Mac then you can try to recover files that way

When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

ok my itunes deleted 11 of my songs and i cant get them back they are still on itunes and when i try to get them back on my ipod it wont let me i have tried every way possible and it wont even sync on itunes
That's because the iPhone is NOT a backup device. You're going to have to use 3rd party software to try and extract them from the phone. Unfortunately, the photos stored on the phone in anything other than the camera roll are NOT at the original resolution. Resolution is reduced for photos synced TO the iPhone to optimize them for the display.

Lost volume and mute screen graphic after various STB settings changes - how to get it back?

Just got FIOS triple play installed yesterday. I am using STB to control TV volume (had to use remote code 9-5-5 to make that work - STB software settings alone did not work). I need to use the STB for volume because my older TV - SD Mitsubishi - cannot be controled via remote - its remote sensor no longer works. Initailly I had a graphic volume bar on screen - upper right quadrant - when changing Volume or using Mute from the remote - the graphic bar would disappear after about 10 seconds. After exploring and changing some of the STB settings, I noticed that the volume bar no longer displays at all. I'd like it back - but cannot figure out how to get it back. The graphic feedback helps me know that the STB received the command from the remote. The volume function from the remote is working - it is the graphic I am missing.
Does anyone know what STB setting might affect this? Or, is it possible to go back to "default" settings on the STB?
I tried calling Verizon - but they were not helpful - as long as volume control was working, they did not want to help me get the graphic back.
Anyone else encounter this? Thanks in advance...

Go to Solution.Thanks for your reply, but Volume Control was already set to Variable. And sorry for the delay in responding - I was trying to figure out if I could repeat (and even fix) the issue - now I have - tho there may be more than one way to do this:
To produce the problem on my setup:
1. While watching TV with no STB graphics on screen - check to see volume control graphic is there by hitting volume button on remote - wait until the graphic goes away.
2. On Remote, hit Favorites button (already set to "Toggle Flip by Favorites") - Info graphic (bottom 1/3 of screen) comes up indicating that I am in "Mode:Favorites 1".
3. On Remote, hit Guide Button
4. On Remote hit Exit Button
Volume / Mute graphic no longer appears when the buttons are pressed on the remote, tho the volume / mute functions do work. I can power off the STB - and still the volume / mute graphics are gone.
To fix:
1. On Remote, hit "On Demand" Button. (Wait for "loading" to finish)
2. On Remote, hit Exit.
Now the volume / mute graphic is visible again!
Hunh???

Note: remote is VZ P265v2 RC -
The green arrows for page forward or back at the top left under File and Edit disappeared after I downloaded the new Firefox toolbar (for 3.6) and were replaced by Most Visited, Getting Started and Latest headlines Icons, which I have little use for. How do I get the Original Toolbar back?

I have an iPAD2 and an iPAD mini and tried to upgrade to IOS 7.0.6 but both froze and I had to restore to factory setting (backup also did not work!). I was able to get most of my purchased books and apps from iTUNES (through my computer) but lost all magazine subscriptions. iTUNES is asking me to pay for them again. Has anyone else had a similar problem and do you know how to restore the subscriptions without paying for them again?
Thank you!Thanks for the feedback. The applications were there but the magazines themselves could not be downloaded without paying... What I had to do was go in the application and find the "restore purchases" button. It was hidden within the account settings but it solved the problem!

I opened up my pages app and the document i needed opened up automatically, i turned away from my ipad to log onto my computer only to find when i look back at my ipad that ALL my documents have been deleted!! It is very important i get these back as i have an assignment to hand in tomorrow and ALL my revision is on their for my exam in 4 days time. please please please help me get my documents back onto my ipad? I have logged into icloud on my computer and can see the documents but cant work out how to get them back on my ipad???

Hi guys...I have just got a new computer and want to get my library back up and running on it. However I seem to be missing some of my iTunes music purchases. Any ideas on how to get them back? They show up on my ipad but not my actual itunes account.

In my Finder window, the picture icons that usually show up next to the items are not there. i.e. in my sidebar, the little pictures that are usually by the Application, Desktop, Documents, etc items. Also, the back and forward arrows, list items and tasks don't show as well. Any ideas on how to get them back?

All of my titles, themes and generators seem to be completely missing from Final cut pro x. Do you know how to get them back?
Do you mean that when you click the title browser, for example, nothing is there?
Do you at least see several categories listed in the effects browser?
First make sure that you have nothing typed into the search box (not even spaces).
If you still see nothing, try this in order:
1) Window->Revert to Original Layout
2) Quit FCP X, delete preferences using Preference Manager (a free download from Digital Rebellion)
3) Download FCS Remover, and use it to completely remove FCP X. This will NOT delete your content, just the application.
4) Reinstall FCP X from the Mac App Store: log in with the same Apple ID that you used to buy FCP X, click on "Purchases", locate FCP X and click Install. -
Today I just update my iphone software to IOS5. I forgot to download pictures that were on my iphone and since the upgrade they are all gone. Is there a way to get them back?

Aperture photo transfer and keywords
I'm new to Aperture, and I've just started to build my library. I have been using i-photo for years and I find the Aperture program's import and keyword functions a bit confusing. I like to shoot Raw and when I'm on location, where I dump my cards to
