An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.

If you have completed all Apple troubleshooting steps with no change, more than likely your iPhone has a hardware problem. call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

My phone is disabled after too many password attempts. I have tried to disconnect the USB from the phone, turned the device off, held the home button and reconnected the USB to the phone . I held the button until I got the connect to iTunes screen and clicked ok to restore the device however I receive the msg that it cannot connect to iTunes because it is locked with a passcode???

Can't unlock ipod touch after i have tried to restore it

I had set a password for my ipod but what it was ment to be wasnt what the password is. So i cant get into my ipod. I tried to restore it 3 times with it failing half way. So i tired to conect to another computer and of course i cant because the ipod is locked. Im not sure if there is some other way. Should i try to restore it again? Who should i contact? someone plzz help me :/

The songs need to be in the playlist(s) that go onto the ipod touch.
Plug the ipod touch into the computer and go to the music section of it from the devices menu. From here make sure that the playlist(s) that go on to this ipod are the ones that have the new songs.
Once this is done, click sync/apply.

You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

I have followed the steps provided by apple to restore an iPod touch. It is disabled due to having the wrong password entered too many times. When I get part way through the restore process on my computer it pops up a box saying that it can't restore until I enter the passcode into the iPod. I have tried this same process over 5 times now and keep gutting the same results. It is my kids iPod and he has only had it since September.
