You can't. Apps and really all content purchased/downloaded through one Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. In the case of Apps they will always request that Apple ID to update as they are licensed to that Apple ID.
In reality, the Apps were licensed to that Apple ID by the developer. And cannot simply be given away to you for you to use.
He should have wiped the iPod clean so you could set it up for your use without any of his accounts or purchased content as you are not really licensed to any of those Apps.

ThanksIt is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

Create a NEW account/ID using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old

Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time? -

After setting up my new IPAD2 I went into the APPStore and noticed there was an already purchased section, which showed all my previous purchases I had made and installed on my IPAD I. IT gave me the option to "install" them onto my IPAD2 and there was not visual "COST" associated with it and it never prompted me for a charge althought I had to enter my account password each time. Additionally I didn't get any emails like you usually do when buying an app. A few days later, BAM! 50 charges or so totalling upwards to 200 bucks with no description other than ITUNES on my bank account so I can't even tell which apps they were for. Is part of the public BETA cloud testing?! I hope to god not, it caused my bank account to go negative and now I have many NSF charges. I can NOT affort this. I know apple has a disclaimer "No refunds" under any circumstance. But as far as I"m concerned. THIS IS THEFT!

How can I use two accounts (mine and my wife's) to PhotoStream to my mac? I have to turn off photo stream for one or the other...can't I just leave two accounts logged on so that the photos from my iphone and hers both go to my mac?
Photostreaming across machines requires to use the same Apple-ID on all of these machines or devices. Share all of iclouds account stuff or nothing at all . No way around as icloud is designed that way. Photostream is not designed as a sort of gallery to share with outsiders. It is for your personal entertainment .

I have copied my iTunes library onto a new computer, but when I play back the songs using the new computer, there seems to be random "miss" or "drop out" during play back, similar to a small scratch on a vinyl record. Although when I play the same song over again, the "miss" occurs in a different location during the song. No probs with old computer, just the new one. I'm onto my third new computer - same problem. Any suggestions please?
You don't say which version of iTunes you are using, but the symptoms you describe have been encountered by some users with the 64-bit version of iTunes 12.1.
There is an alternative version for 64-bit editions of Windows here:

that seems to address the most of the playback issues that some users have been reporting with the full 64-bit version of 12.1.0.77 - including problems with Bluetooth speakers where either sound is degraded or completely absent. Some users have reported that after installing this alternative version it is necessary to adjust the "Play audio using" selection (normally to "Direct Sound" rather than "Windows Audio Session", though this may vary based on your audio hardware/drivers) in Edit > Preferences > Playback to restore glitch-free audio (one part of the reported symptoms is that the "Direct Sound" choice isn't available, usually in Windows 8). It may also be necessary to ensure that your Bluetooth speakers are active and selected as the default audio device before you run iTunes.

I think the problem is that the iPod got set to Manually manage music and videos. It needs to be set up for automatic syncing again. Just unchecking that Manually manage music and videos setting does not do it.
In iTunes 12, select the iPod in iTunes (using the device button), so that you see the iPod's "management" screen. In the sidebar (along left side of screen), there are two headings (Settings and On My Device). Under Settings, click on Music. To the right, you see the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box at the top for Sync Music. That turns ON automatic syncing for music. Below that, choose the option to sync Entire music library (assuming your music library fits completely on your iPod). Otherwise, you can choose the option to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres and make your selections below. Then click Apply. -

If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

Hallo ,I have an IMAC 21.5. which does not start.When i press the power button i hear only beep with an interval of 4-5 seconds.Some times when i take off the RAMS and put them again then get a white screen and shows that i have to insert a bootable device.Then i bought OSX mountainlion on line and wrote it on a DVD and tried with a USB key board to start the DVD.But does not work.Please help me to get this imac work.

I went to the settings and entered my new account info with the new apple ID but everytime I try to download something it is asking me to enter the password for the old ID(which is disabled)
Maybe the App Store is still open with the old info?
Try this:
Restart your iPhone
Press Settings and then Store
Press your Apple ID and choose sign out
Press Home button
Go back to Settings > Store and then sign in with new ID/password.
