Your machine has 2 USB 3.0 ports as shown in its specs:

In theory this should be backward compatible with USB 2.0 port on your printer. But this is not the case. New firmware (if your printer is not too old) from your printer may fix this but what is your printer ?

While this could be a hardware issue, it's always worth trying the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager, expand Keyboards, right click the entry 'Standard PS/2 Keyboard' and select Uninstall.
Shutdown the notebook.
Then unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Note: If the keyboard doesn't work when trying to access or navigate the Bios Menu, then this is probably a hardware fault.

Sounds like your iPhone is locked to the wireless carrier you used
in Bahrain. Contact that wireless carrier to see if they offer unlocking
and if you qualify. Only the carrier to which the iPhone is locked
can unlock it.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Remember that the warranty is not international. You will have to
return the iPhone to Bahrain for repair/replacement if it needs service.

SCAN listner is not supporting any services

Hi Gurus,
We have 10.2 database running on 11.2 Grid. 10.2 and 11.2 softwares were installed with different os users(oracle and oragrid respectively).
Now the issue is that,
After the DB was brought up SCAN listener shows it does not support any services when we do a lsnrctl status against SCAN listener name as oragrid user.
I am under the assumption that once we bringup DB SCAN listener should be supporting the DB service automatically, please clarify.
Also is it supported to run Database and Grid softwares as different users.

Nothing happens "automatically' There are defaults and there are configurations. You may want to check with Oracle Support to see if SCAN is even supported/supportable on 10g. While it is purported to "work?", I have not seen where it is supported.

did you create any services - in 11gRAC you would remove the entry service_name parameters and create the service. I would add make sure local/remote_listener parameters are set correctly. (see the SCAN doc above.)

You could try the "sandboxing relaxed" workaround offered here for other manufacturers, but Advent needs to update their drivers.

Gordon, it looks like its been a while since you made this post. Not sure how valid it is now...   I am particularly interested in the LigatureLevel.NONE value. It seems that it is no longer supported.
How do I turn of ligatures in the font rendering?
My flex project involves trying to match the font rendering of Apache's Batik rendering of SVG and ligatures have been turned off in that codebase. Is there any way (even roundabout) to turn ligatures off in flash?

That message occurs when updating a phone that was hacked to be used with your network. Upgrading the phone has re-locked it to it's rightful carrier. You will need a SIM from the original carrier to proceed.

HP Pavilion G60-120US USB ports not working

I have an HP Pavilion G60-120US notebook running Vista Home Premium.
The two USB ports on the right hand side do not recognize any connected devices. The USB port on the left hand side does work correctly.
I confirmed the USB root rub for each port is active and the port's power management setting is not enabled.
I've also confirmed all drivers are updated and all Windows updates are current.
Any advice or suggestions?

HP 15-g049AU Notebook PC OS not supported by HP Service Center

I recenlty bought a HP 15-g049AU Notebook PC [K5B45PA], from Flipkart on 19th October 2014. It came with Windows 8.1 preinstalled. In the box I didnlt received any CD. Now , when I tried to reset the Laptop it got stuck in between the process and after that for all the options it didnt moved a bit. Day before yesterday I visited HP Support center , requesting the fresh Installation of the OS, without even seeing my laptop, I have been directed to call to HP Notebook support number and ask for a Recovery CD which cost around 1000/-.
After that I installed Windows 7 32 bit from one of my collegue, then found that all the network device drivers are not matching as the Notebook support only 64 bit OS. From HP website also got the information if drivers are not available for 32 bit that means for the specific model the OS only support 64 bit.
Now my question is that where to go for getting the OS installed. Is not it HP's Support's responsibility? May I get a onsite support engineer who can resolve this.

This is a consumer to consumer forum. You will not get any answers from someone on behalf of HP here.
When you first got the notebook, you were supposed to make a set of recovery media by following these instructions.

That is why no HP consumer PC's come with recovery disks.
You will have to see if HP will send you the recovery disks under warranty. If not, you will have to fork over the cash
Now, what I can try to help you with would be to get W7 32 bit to work on your PC.
Most of these W7 32 bit drivers should work for you...
First, install the amd chipset drivers and reboot. You want the first file listed on the webpage.

HP Pavilion Elite e9120y bios does not recognize any cd/dvd/bluray or hard disk drives

I erased my hard disk to install Windows 7. Now my computer intermittently does not recognize that there are any drives attached to the sata ports. I go into BIOS pressing F10 and it does not list any drives at all. I have a DVD burner and a bluray and a western digital 1TB hard drive connected. Sometimes they show that they are connected other times it doesn't. It's strange.
When it does recognize there are drives connected, I boot up from the Windows 7 DVD. Then I try to create a partition on the hard drive. The installation recognizes a 930GB hard drive with no partitions. Every time I try to create a partition, it says I need a driver for the hard drive. I have a driver that I downloaded off of HP's website yesterday, the driver for nvidia sata. I put it on my usb drive. It recognizes it but says it is the wrong driver. I don't know what else to do. I have built dozens of computer and repaired hundreds, but I have never run across a problem like this and I hope you can help me.

My problem is not just with the hard drive. All three drives (two optical, one hard disk) should show up in bios, whether or not there is a disk in the optical drive or a partition on the hard drive. It intermittently stops detecting the drives. One time I boot and go into BIOS they are there, and I can run installation of Windows (partially). But if a turn off the computer and turn it back on, they've disappeared. Sometimes they will be detected, sometimes they won't.
I'm thinking the driver problem with the Windows 7 Professional x64 installation is somehow connected to the drives randomly not showing up. All drives stop showing up at the same time, not just the hard drive. So it's not a driver issue. It has to be connected to the BIOS and motherboard.
This computer is only 4 months out of warranty.
Any more help would be appreciated.

PS: I tried several boot parameters I found on the internet related to pci stuff, nothing helped. The device did work a couple of days ago but I can't recall if some kernel update or anything else broke it.
