If it's a Windows error, it's typically going to be a Microsoft problem. Uninstall any security software you have and if you have a restore point for your PC, you may want to restore your PC back to when iTunes was working normally. If none of those work you would need to contact Microsoft and demand help.

Please remind me, are you still working with Photoshop Elements 8 and Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1, and are your plans to incorporate your new internal hard drive into the Windows Vista 32 bit computer setup?
In Photoshop Elements 8, the path to the Scratch Disks should be Full Editor/Edit Menu/Preferences/Performance and the available Scratch Disks choices there. See Description under the Scratch Disks list for overall suggestions.
In Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1, the Scratch Disks will be found under the program's Edit Menu/Preferences/Scratch Disks.
Just do not move, delete, or rename any files/folders that are source media in a saved/closed project.
Major consideration is to check the new drive periodically to confirm that the drive letter is ot changing on you.
Did you know that you can import a raw format image into Premiere Elements, but you need to install the Camera Raw plug-in in Premiere Elements as well as Photoshop Elements. But, in a 32 bit operation and dealing with the huge dimensions of the raw image, image size is going to be a consideration in Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1.. The program will not let you import a still image with a total pixel count greater than 16777216 pixels.

Since I recently joined The Cloud for my iTunes etc, and I know that CDs and DVDs are trending downward as more people are digitizing their libraries and/or using streaming media. So I was left with several hundred CDs and DVDs and wondered "who would benefit from this?"
Knowing of Brooke Army Medical Center (San Antonio TX), and knowing that's where our soldiers who need prosthetic surgeries, recuperation and assistance, I figured that music and movies would be great as part of their therapy. I contacted James Bonola (Gift Coordinator, Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft Sam Houston) and he thought it would be a great way to help our returning wounded warriors with their therapy.
I then thought of what company would have the logistics in place to collect CDs and DVDs, and have the national reach to help get this idea off the ground.

1. Apple's promoting iCloud, so you get to "keep" your music on all your devices.
2. Apple also SELLS music, so if you're looking to upgrade, Apple's the place.
3. Apple revolutionized the music (and movie) industry with the iPod.
I spoke to someone at Apple today, and they suggested the Apple Support Community. So I chose the iCloud community for the most direct attention.
If you have all your mobile (iOS) devices and your Macs, iPads, iPhones and everything else, what's it going to cost you if you are looking to dispose of your physical library. WE DON'T NEED THE JEWEL BOXES...just the discs and any booklets.
So what do you say folks? How about giving this a shot, and helping our wounded warriors through their therapy, and help them build their own music and movie collections at the same time. What have you got to lose? And just imagine how great you'll feel.

I'm trying to back up my iPad using my computer. But an error keeps coming up that says some apps could not be transferred. I've already authorized my computer but the iPad keeps saying that it's not. I've already clicked on "Store" and authorized it repeatedly. What's wrong?
Not sure if you were told what error 2009 is caused by so I'll let you know if you havn;t been informed. In the article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694 is says:

This helped me. Fix #1 is something Apple doesn't ever suggest to you.
My specific problem was somehow my Apple Mobile Device USB Driver got turned off and moved and maybe even uninstalled, but after hours of struggling, this site helped tremendously.
Furthermore, I could connect my iPhone to my computer but not into iTunes. It would only let me go to access pictures on my iPhone and that's all.

I keep getting a script error pop-up
I updated my firefox a couple of days ago and the google toolbar was not working. Looked through the troubleshooting on Mozilla and uninstalled the toolbar and tried to reinstall the toolbar by the add on feature. Now I keep getting an "Unresponsive Script" script:chrome://google-toolbar-lib/content/toolbar.js:1271, I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox a couple times in the last couple of days. Why do I keep getting an unknown error 4002. I seems to happen 5 or 6 times a day. iTunes seems to be working fine but it's kind of annoying. The window pops up and says "We could not complete your iTunes Store request." It tells me that there was an error in the iTunes Store and should try again later. I click OK but it just won't stop.

I have uninstalled iTunes from an IBM ThinkPad X40 running XP and I now get the iTunesHelper Error2 screen (Apple Application Support was not found). I do not want to re-install iTunes as I am now a mac user. However I want to get rid of the message from the XP machine as it is irritating and I want to use it standalone for something else.
Any ideas?

What country's Store are you using?
The two have to be the same and the payment method for your account also has to be associated (billing address, where iTunes gift card was purchased) with that country.

Hi, I was able to reformat my iPod and that worked. I read it on one of the threads and I am copy pasting the method below:
I opened the "My Computer" window and right-clicked on my ipod, and then selected "Format". I select "Yes" to format since I don't have anything on the nano to delete anymore.
I then Eject my nano from the computer and did a restart while the nano is disconnected from the computer.
Once Windows finish loading I reconnect the USB to the nano(back of computer) which automatically pulls up iTune. It asked me to name the new ipod detected and created a playlist for that specific ipod name.
