My icloud backup paused on my iPhone 5S and i can't get it to finish. how do I get to to complete the restore process?
When I got home from the store, I had to retrieve my backup from and Iphone 5. It restored most things, but it has not finished. It promoted me to connect to itunes, but that hasn't helped either. I need it to finish restoring so that I can back it up. Any ideas?

It was O2 he was on. I don't know if it was unlocked. How do I check? And also how would I get it unlocked?

Check you are logged into your store account properly (settings > store). Also check there are no restrictions set that might be causing this (settings > general > restrictions) -

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I have done an icloud backup on my iPad mini. I now need to get back one of the iMovie videos that I backed up. How do I restore one individual file?
You can't. When you restore from a backup it will restore everything in the backup. You might be able to find a third party app that will allow you to extract individual files from an iTunes backup, but not with an iCloud backup.

Hi, just bought my daughter an Iphone 4s and I can't get it to let her on youtube, Facebook etc., keeps saying no internet connection. My husband and I have 3G smartphones and we can get on them on ours, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Also, my other daughter has the same phone and has no trouble getting on these sites either. I have changed my apple id on the manage my apple id page. For some reason, the id didn't change on my macbook air. My iCloud still registered my old email id and I can't get it to recognize my correct id. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you change your Apple ID you will need to sign in with the new information or password the next time you use an Apple service or feature that uses Apple ID. If you have multiple devices that use features and services that require an Apple ID, you will need to sign in again on each device.

An iPad and iPhone cannot connect via Bluetooth unless you are trying to use a Personal Hotspot feature on your iPhone or have one of the few third-party apps that allow limited file transfer or device-to-device gaming. Unless you're attempting one of these, then any previous "pairing" was probably illusory. If you are trying to use such a thing, tell us which one and someone may be able to provide suggestions.

Are these SMS messages or iMessage type messages (the recipient has to use an iOS phone)? It sounds like you are trying to send an iMessage and the receipient's phone or current setup is not on.

Was your airport express purchased recently?
Was it new or used?
Has it been set to extend an existing network?
You can always try resetting the airport express by unplugging it and pressing the little button on the underside with a stretched out paperclip for roughly 30-45 seconds then try plugging it in again.
Once you've reset the airport express, you'll want to walk through the setup process from a Mac or Windows computer using Apple's Airport Setup Utility.

We are going to get you up and running with all picture text messages. Have you ever been able to receive picture messages in a group text before? Can ou please check some settings for me. Let's go into Settings, Messages, and is MMS Messaging swich green? How about the Group Messaging switch? If they are green, go ahead and switch those off for a few seconds and then turn them back on. Then re-try the picture message. One last thing, you can also try to reset the network settings. Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings. Please keep us posted.

Ah, okay. This is a message that comes up when a developer has developed software for the Mac, but has not registered with Apple. Apple does this to help keep viruses and malware out of your Mac.
To be able to run this, go to System Preferences and the General tap. At the bottom is the option to change this. Select the section "All applications downloaded from:" and change it to Anywhere.
Just be careful what you install after this and only download from reputable sites (like Apple.com).

Less than 5 hours New Macbook Pro
I thought the new 15 inch Macbook Pro was supposed to do something around 8-9 hours of battery. I am getting less than 5 with mild use (internet browsing, hulu). Is anyone else having this problem? Should I call Apple about this? William Dovale
