My internet connection went down for 24 hours when it resumed I had lost all my history and bookmarks and I can't get them back.
Since my internet connection went down I've lost all my bookmarks and history. When I try and save pages to Bookmarks I'm unable to. I've also lost some of my taskbar items
Firefox 3.6+ versions have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.
Hit the '''Alt''' key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open View > Toolbars and select Menu bar, so it has a check-mark. <br />
The F10 can also be used on most PC's to temporarily reveal the Menu bar.

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.

I have used my force9 emails for a few years with now problem on my laptop and also for maybee 6 months on my iphone4s but after syncing with itunes on my laptop i have lost all the emails & email setting of my phone.
I also back up on icloud and tried looking on there on my laptop but there is only my icloud emails and not my pop3 force9 emails . There are all my contacts there butwhy does it wipe my emails and settings and how can i get them back.

I installed V8.0.1 several weeks ago (or what I thought was V8.0.1) and got Awesome Screenshot (A.S.). Although it was stated that AS was not compatible with V8.0.1 I installed it any way and it worked. I have been using it every day until this morning. Another Firefox update came down this morning. Although I clicked the “Update Later” box, it updated at that time anyway. (This has happened every time I received an update in the past and clicked “Update Later” box, but that another problem; not the issue today.) After today’s update completed and I restarted Firefox. I check the version and it still was V8.0.1. All of my extensions were gone. I followed the instruction for re-enabling. All of the extensions were marked “disabled”. Only two of them had “enable” buttons (Garmin Communicator and InvisibleHand), both of which I didn’t load nor use. All extensions had “Remove” buttons. Is there any way for me to get A.S. working, I use it often. If not, how about “Screengrab”. That’s better than nothing.
I am using Windows XP Professional SP3.

[email protected]There is a known issue where multiple instances of plugin container open if history or cookies are cleared. Are you, or some utility clearing firefox cookies or history, that could be the reason. This problem continues even if plugins are disabled in Firefox.
*Are you opening multiple instances of Flash Player ?
* Is the problem reproducible ? <br/> for instance does it always crash the plugin or cause it to hang if you use a particular site ?
If you get the FlashPlayer plugin crashing use the option to submit the crash reports, it is then possible to follow them up. It is possible to stop the plugincontainer opening, but that could result in a firefox crash. Of course the firefox crash can also send crash reports out, and that could be useful.

There are some problems with FlashPlayer currently under investigation, and there may be other threads in the forum about problems. (e.g. Bug 561019 - Plugin waveOutOpen hangs )
Sometimes using Firefox 3.6 is a workaround that helps with FlashPlayer problems, if you wish to experiment with that consider installing firefox Portable and using Firefox 3.6.23 (or soon 3.6.24) for tests with flash player, whilst keeping firefox 7 for day to day browsing.

This is the second time in a week this has happened. The last time I got them back by right clicking on a blank spot in the toolbar. That will not work this time. I there anything else I can do to make it work right. It is working fine on Explorer 8, which I have also, but really prefer Firefox. Please tell me how to fix it. Also, I keep getting updates to Firefox, but they seem to be unable to connect to the update server most of the time.
I repurchased one ring tone, backed up my phone and tried to download a book again. Then I restored and did not get my ringtone back.
Also, one of my audio books is still there, but the first one I bought is not. It does not make sense. -
so after the annoying reintallment of everything on my computer, there were a bunch of music and app that i have not backed up on an external HD. now that itunes hasx been re-installed, i want those items back, but don't want to sync my iphone for fear of losing everything on the phone (apps, music, etc.) that were purchased. Any suggestions?
Log into your iTunes account on the new comptuer and when you hook up your iPhone there will be a option to reverese sync your iTunes purchased content ONLY, back into iTunes.

I tried to erase some of the email addresses that i no longer email to - i went to window to delete some and ALL of them were deleted . How do i get the addresses back?
Thank you sooooo much!Go to Mail Preferences>Accounts, click the '+' button below the list of accounts and insert the settings, username and password as instructed. Some account types can be set up automatically as soon as Mail knows the emails address (because the server settings are built in), in other cases you will have to get them from your ISP.

I have an iPAD2 and an iPAD mini and tried to upgrade to IOS 7.0.6 but both froze and I had to restore to factory setting (backup also did not work!). I was able to get most of my purchased books and apps from iTUNES (through my computer) but lost all magazine subscriptions. iTUNES is asking me to pay for them again. Has anyone else had a similar problem and do you know how to restore the subscriptions without paying for them again?
Thank you!Thanks for the feedback. The applications were there but the magazines themselves could not be downloaded without paying... What I had to do was go in the application and find the "restore purchases" button. It was hidden within the account settings but it solved the problem!

I made one phone call this morning and after hanging up i went to the contacts library and all my contacts were gone. I have unfortunately not got a backup (this isn't my phone its for a friend) and so I have no backup of my contacts. I have already tried importing contacts from the sim but only a very small few contacts are on the sim so im still missing over 90% of my contacts. How can i fix this? This phone is an iphone 4s running ios 7
nope just set it to do so for future purposes but i have no recorded backup of any contacts

My iPhone has been acting very strange lately and the only way to get it to turn on and function is to restore it. I restored it from a backup of my phone before I restored it. I was mostly worried about my pictures. I was relieved to see them all there,

Generally speaking, your bookmarks are private to your computer, and if you set up multiple Firefox profiles on your computer, to the one profile.
Your bookmarks might be available to you at another location if you used the Sync service. If you didn't use Sync or can't access your account, someone with access to your old computer could email you your bookmarks. Since there is a range of different ways to do that and the best choice might depend on what you can expect the person you ask to be able to do... could they start up Firefox in your profile and follow menu steps to export a file? Could they drill down into a hidden folder on the system, zip a file, and mail that to you? Etc. -

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. When you activate the iPhone, you lose your saved voicemails from the other system. When you activate a non-iphone, you lose any saved voicemails from the iPhone voicemail system too.

i bought some ringtones on my iPhone, later on i sync my iphone to my old computer now i have a new mac pro desktop and i only have 2 ringtones on my phone but not the rest of them how can i get them back without having to pay for them again?
If you bought them on your iPad then you will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library and you can then sync them to your iPhone - ringtones are a one-time only download, so you won't be able to redownload them directly on your phone.
