My Ipad backup error does not respond to "cancel" and it won't go beyond the error message.

My Ipad is frozen and won't start because the backup to the i-cloud has not succeeded in 5 weeks.  I was traveling and didn't have wireless access.  Now I have access but it doesn't respond to the "cancel" and it won't go beyond the error message.  I am in a new location so a new WiFi information needs to be entered in order for the iCloud to work.  Need to know how to bypass the message and log-on.
The exact message is:

This iPad hasn't been backed up in 5 weeks.  Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi.  "OK"

Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

    Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
    Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

    I recently backuped up all my apps and music/etc to the icloud. I had my ipad 4 touch screen repaired. I got thee ipad back in perfect working condition. however, when I launched garageband....I tried to record but the RECORD BUTTON does not respond. This is not a touch screen issue...I can press play, rewind, I can select instruments, I can play the virtual instruments etc. I tried rebooting my ipad and I also deleted and re-downloaded garageband. The issue is the same.

    Does iHome say it is compatible with a 4G iPod with iOS 6.1.3? Sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility.
    Make sure the iPod is fully seated in the dock. The case of the 4G is different than previous iPods and thus if the dockl\ was not designed with the 4G in mind it may not fully seat.
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod and dock for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Reset the dock
    - Sometimes this works:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings      
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    Or it may just be not compatible

    I just don't understand how all these problems roll into one issue. One day my ipod was unresponsive so i reset it and then all the songs disappeared. That happended before, but it became fine after I connected to itunes, but once I connect it to itunes it pops up but itunes is loading for etenrity and does not respond. If I close if forcefully then itunes won't open at all. cursor indicates loading for a second and then stops.
    What is this?

    When i said reboot, I meant "restarts my Ipod".
    I tried installing driver to no success. What could be wrong? My Ipod just doesn't communicate with my computer since the latest Itunes was installed.

  • IPad touch screen does not respond even after full restore and update

    I have an iPad 2 64 GB
    It has for a number of months intermittently stopped responding to any touch screen inputs. This issue began almost as soon as I opened the iPad for the first time. As it was happening very rarely and normally responded eventually, so I thought nothing of it.
    This week the iPad will not respond to any touch input at all (Home, On/Off, Volume and Mute buttons still respond). I have tried the hard reset process a number of times and still nothing.
    I backed up the device to my machine and applied the latest update 5.1.1 and still no response. I then did a factory reset and still nothing.
    I have never dropped or damaged my iPad in any way.
    Does anybody know of any ongoing issues with the touch screen or a solution to this problem?

    I suspect it is a hardware failure and more specifically a loose internal connection.

  • My HP PSC 1315 Cartridge Error Does Not Respond To Troubleshooting

    My printer  HP PSC 1315 has never given me problems. About a month ago I replaced the black ink cartridge (it was all I could afford). It was working fine and then out of the blue it came up with an error saying to check my cartridges. I did. Nothing obvious, so I ran the trouble shooter.... NO HELP! I REALLY need my printer in working condition ASAP!
    I tried removing the cartridge and put it back in. Then, did a reset by turning the printer off by pressing the "On/Resume" button  Then I removed the power cable and plugged it back in. I turned the printer back on using the "On/Resume" button that was used to turn it off.
    DIDN'T HELP!

    I've even reset it and tried removing the black cartridge. I CANNOT afford a new one.... PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Just got an iphone 4 2 weeks ago, after doing the iOS 5 update on thursday my phone was fine. but on friday i turned my phone off while at work came to lunchtime and i couldnt turn it on, luckily had my charger in my bag plugged it in and the phone came on again and it was fine apart from for the first few seconds it was tellin me the wrong time and date (jan 1st at 1:00am) but returned back to normal time zones at half 5 my phone was still on and working to send texts etc, came to 6 oclock and it was off agian powered up once again by using charger after 5 minutes it went off again wouldn't come back on. when i got home i charged it for a while before i went to bed and it was fine then after been in use for around 5 minutes without the charger. so i plugged the charger in again to try turning it on its now telling me activation required, then connect to itunes. i give up and go to bed then yesterday (saturday) i turn it on again using charger and its teling me connect to itunes but as soon as i unplug from wall charger it goes off again and when i plug into my laptop it doesnt respond or turn on atall.
    Ive tried holding on/off and circle button at same time and that doesnt work and also tried the DFU thing to restore it, it recogised the ipod then came up with an unknown error occured (1602)
    Any ideas on something else to try?

    Has it ever gotten wet?..   I'd make an appointment with Genius bar at an Apple store, there's something majorly wrong that a simple 'reset' isn't going to fix...

    Try something very simple .... quit iTunes, reboot the iPad and then restart the Mac and try again.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
