Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds and see if you can get it to reboot.

Try force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

Any torrent program will and can destroy your computer.
You are not the first and will not be the last to learn this.
UnInstall and if your machine is capable Repair Permissions and shut your computer clear off, this allows it to reset and then restart your computer. Be wary of anything you get from a torrent. Movie, Music, game, EVERYTHING. -

Welcome to the Apple Community.
1. First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
2. Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
3. If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -
how come when i sync my iphone5 to laptop window 7 it will shut down , but when m using ipad it will not shut down, so it means th problem is my iphone5

My daughter stopped using her iPad when she got an iPhone for Christmas. It has been over one month and she has forgotten her passcode. I tried to wipe it via Find my iPhone but it won't connect to the wifi even though wifi is switched on on the lock screen. I then tried to restore it through iTunes but was unable to becuase Find my iPhine was switched on so I removed the iPad from the device list only to find that it didn't solve anything with the iTunes situation and it still won't connect to the wifi. I ahve tried turning wifi on and off, tried leaving the house and re-entering all to no avail. Is there any other way to restore the iPad????
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

The video app on my iPad now only shows a black screen. Used to work fine then crashed in the middle of a short video. When I open the app the screen is just blank. As it is a default app I can't delete and reinstall. Anybody else experience this?
Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app via the taskbar : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

IPad only shows a grey screen.
Yesterday evening my iPad turned off by itself. Now when it start it only shows a grey screen. A reset causes the Apple logo to appear momentarily I cannot get the iPad into recovery mode.
The battery is fully charded, was plugged in over night.
Originial iPad running 5.1.1
Only chnage yesterday was I updated one App.
Tried standard reset using home and power button.
Interesting the Apple Logo appears to have a yello mark on it, but that may just be an illusion.
ITunes seems to see the device but says it need to be unlocked. " iTunes cannot backup "iPad "iPad name" because it is locked with a passcode."

I was watching something on my iPad then it suddenly turned off I put it in charge and it turned back on then showed the home screen then turns back off quickly so I can't restore it
