Does this only happen on specific pages?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

You can try to disable notifications as a test (you may want to reverse this).

It appears to be square looking, but is only there for a second, so It's hard to see.Could simply be the cursor appearing briefly before the graphical user interface shows up. Is it on a black backdrop, or on the grey Apple backdrop with the spinning cogwheel?

Sounds like a hardware failure. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

I have an iPhone 4s that is still covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan. I have a pretty significant crack across the screen and wanted to know if I have to pay any additional fees to replace the screen or replace the entire phone.
I was hesitant to purchase this protection plan at first about $70, but the customer service agent reassured me that there were no deductables and thats why I bought into it. But now that I look around on the support site, I see that it says that there are up to two incidents covered for a service fee of $49. Did I really get duped?If the issue is a manufacturing defect, there is no cost to have the device replaced.
If the issue is a result of user damage (like a cracked screen) and you have AppleCare+ Apple will replace the device for the minimal fee of $49. They will do this up to two times during the timeframe of the protection plan.
If the issue is the result of user damage and you do not have AppleCare+ then the Out of Warranty replacement cost is $199 for the 4S.
No, you were not duped, you were simply not completely informed. Whether that was a result of them not sharing all the information or you only hearing what you wanted, no one here knows. -
What can I do I got my iPad fixed at a different brand place but not apple and I have ended up a few weeks later with dust inside my screen is their anything apple can still do for me?
If another person or company serviced your iPad, your warranty has been voided. Apple will do an out-of-warranty exchange. Have you contacted the original service provider, and complained?

will I get a replacement for that?Without AppleCare+, no, not even a free repair. You dropped it, so it's on your dime now. You wouldn't expect free repairs to your car after crashing it into a pole, would you?
Also, note that Apple may not be enthusiastic about repairing it, because a dropped iPad may have other issues beyond a broken screen. Other internal components may have been damaged. Buying a replacement may be the best way of getting back a reliably-functioning iPad. But you could also go with a cheaper repair from a third-party company that will just replace the screen and let you worry about whether or not that repair is sufficient. That kind of repair voids the warranty, but it's already void thanks to the damage anyway. -

Try resetting your iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -

Can't get it to unlock, it has an icloud backup message on the screen and won't let me cancel the message and log on? Tried to shut the machine off and it won't turn off with the button either. locked???

It will try to make a backup every time your iPad is plugged to the charger and connected to a network. To prevent that this message appears soon, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and choose Backup Now -

Looking for help with an app I purchased. It was on my iPad screen then gone. Shows as installed on the purchased screen.
go to your pc/mac, open itunes, and download the app from the store on your desktop (this will not cost you extra as you have already purchased it). Plug your iPad in to your computer, and navigate to the tab that lets you choose what to put on your iPad. In the Apps section, look for the app, if it is checked (to say it is installed) uncheck it, sync your iPad, then re-check it and re sync. If this doesn't work, try searching Google, or ringing Apple up: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

I have a Personas account. The brown fox icon was present in the bottom left corner of my screen before the latest version of Firefox downloaded, but is not there anymore. I have to go to the Personas web site now whenever I want to manage my Persona. Previously, all I had to do was click on the brown fox, and do what I wanted to do from there.
