If the device screen looks inverted, try triple tapping your home button. OR, you could tap settings, general, accessibility, and make sure invert colors is off. Not sure what you mean about the screen being shaky, unless you tapped too long on the screen, and the icons are wiggling. In which case tapping the home button will resolve that as well.

The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.

Please tell me that it has NEVER been jailbroke. If it has never been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.

I have also seen with the apple genius supporter. The problem still remain the same. Does anybody have any suggestion beyond that? I dont know how many people are experiencing the same problems. Why dont apple solve this issue seriously? My rating to apple would become dramatically decreased to zero. I have decided not to buy apple product anymore.

I ALSO just updated my brand new iphone 6 to 8.0.2, and I ALSO had my cellular service BRICKED.
All I get on the signal meter is Verizon 1x. Every so often 3G would popup and you could send a text (no calls though) but it's gone in seconds. So I can't send texts or make phone calls.
This phone worked immediately before the update and stopped working immediately after the update.
My neighbor has a iphone 5S. He updated to 8.0.2 lat week and had no problems UNTIL just this morning, when his phone stopped working - no cellular voice or data. He downgraded back to ios 8.0 but his cellular service never came back.
Called verizon - was told there were no service outages and then I got transferred to tech team.
Tech team had do all the Apple troubleshooting steps but nothing more. So they said "take it back."
So this BRAND NEW iPhone 6 phone is BRICKED because of iOS 8.0.2.

Because you forgot the passcode?
You have to restore the device using iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.
But ...if you are saying that the slide to unlock bar is not working and this has nothing to do with the iPad being disabled .... Reboot your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Why do I have screen display distortion that look something like barcodes when my browser is open and I start using another application such as word or excel?

Seems that whenever I am connected to mozilla and my browser (yahoo) is active, I will open games, word or excel, one at a time or open more than one at a time, I get screen distortions that look like bar codes that make it impossible to read or distinguish the images on the screen. It happens very frequently. I have tried changing my screen settings and updating my graphics card software. Nothing seems to help. If mozilla is closed and I am not browsing, I do not have this problem.

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried your suggestions and for a moment it appeared to work. I opened multiple applications, several games and a word document all at the same time. While I opened the games, it appeared to be fixed, but when I opened the word document the distortion appeared. I checked for graphics display drivers but there are none.

IPad Screen problem green and fuzzy

I was happy with my Ipad going online and reading books for hours a day until recently when I turned it on! The screen is greenish and fuzzy like when you have a bad reception on a tv with an analog signal... please help! I have no access to a genius bar as I'm living in Dubai, I had mine shipped here from the online store.

Anyone having a problem with their screen looking like an old analog tv who's rabbit ears needed to be adjusted (or worse) should try tapping the upper right edge with their hand a few times before doing anything else. Such an easy fix-who'd of thought? Obviously not me and just as obviously, it is most likely a hardware glitch. I wish I had found this solution at the beginning of my day and not the end. I have a well loved, well used 1st gen Ipad. I had tried all solutions found on this page plus others....hard reboot several times, reset thru itunes, different usb cord, etc. and nothing worked. I had an unreadable screen. My last resort was a clean factory reset found using clear, precise directions from ipadforums.net I know this was successful because of the on-screen itune messages I was getting but at the end of it all, I still could not read my ipad screen. I walked away and had a pity party . I decided to do one more search for a possible solution and happened upon this page. 3 taps was all it took - a beautiful, clear, readable screen again. No apps, no music, no photos, no books, no magazines but it works again so I'm just going to hold on to that happy thought for right now.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
