My iPad2 mail works well except...

My iPad2 works well. Mail recieves and sends fine EXCEPT I cannot send to a few select contacts. When I try I get the usual "Relay eror message". Again, 90% of my contacts do not generate this eror message. Also, I can send to these contacts fine from iphone and mac laptop. Any suggestions what to do with the iPad?
I was hoping not to have to tote this iPad2 and my laptop with me around town all the time. Thank you.

Try opening the Display System Preferences, then click on the Color options in the Display preferences window that appeared on the Toshiba display. Click on the Calibrate button and follow the instructions for creating a custom ColorSync profile that will hopefully solve the green tinge issue. The Apple Display Calibrator Assistant software that launches when you click on the calibrate button will walk you through the process.Assuming that the green tinge is minor and that you don't have a more serious cable or hardware issue, I am hopeful the results will be worth it.

I have a production mobile Flex app that uses RemoteObject calls for all data access, and it's working well, except for a new remote call I just added that only fails when running with a release build. The same call works fine when running on the device (iPhone) using debug build. When running with a release build, the result handler is never called (nor is the fault handler called). Viewing the BlazeDS logs in debug mode, the call is received and send back with data. I've narrowed it down to what seems to be a data size issue.
I have targeted one specific data call that returns in the String value a string length of 44kb, which fails in the release build (result or fault handler never called), but the result handler is called as expected in debug build. When I do not populate the String value (in server side Java code) on the object (just set it empty string), the result handler is then called, and the object is returned (release build).
The custom object being returned in the call is a very a simple object, with getters/setters for simple types boolean, int, String, and one org.23c.dom.Document type. This same object type is used on other other RemoteObject calls (different data) and works fine (release and debug builds). I originally was returning as a Document, but, just to make sure this wasn't the problem, changed the value to be returned to a String, just to rule out XML/Dom issues in serialization.
I don't understand 1) why the release build vs. debug build behavior is different for a RemoteObject call, 2) why the calls work in debug build when sending over a somewhat large (but, not unreasonable) amount of data in a String object, but not in release build.
I have't tried to find out exactly where the failure point in size is, but, not sure that's even relevant, since 44kb isn't an unreasonable size to expect.
By turning on the Debug mode in BlazeDS, I can see the object and it's attributes being serialized and everything looks good there. The calls are received and processed appropriately in BlazeDS for both debug and release build testing.
Anyone have an idea on other things to try to debug/resolve this?
Platform testing is BlazeDS 4, Flashbuilder 4.7, Websphere 8 server, iPhone (iOS 7.1.2). Tried using multiple Flex SDK's 4.12 to the latest 4.13, with no change in behavior.

After a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList. Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid. And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger. Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If after reboot that doesn't help...
Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.

Long history of mail working well in variety of places, failure to send or receive mail even with 3 bars in CA

I've been using my phone for mail for years. It has worked well, even when I had no access to wireless service (albeit slower). On trip to CA in Berkeley it has stopped sending or receiving emails on any of my three mail accounts. Checked the settings and all seem reasonable. I'm getting 3 bars here (surprised so few in major CA city).

Mail working fine except create new mail

(On a Mac Luxo under OS X Tiger 10.4.11 with Mail 2.1.3 managing 9 mail accounts, 7 IMAP and 2 POP boxes.)
Since two days, it was impossible to create a new mail (or create a reply).
Mail hung and the color wheel turns and turns… without taking more processor time (Activity Monitor).
Force Quit and retry = idem.
Repairing and cleaning the Mail database = Mail more responsive but the problem remains.
Repairing the rights with Disk Utilities = no change, same bad result.
Trying again, doing something else… and when I came back, the new window was there ! And sending works perfectly. So I tried once more but the problem is still there except that now, I wait…and after 7 minutes the window opens ! Yes 7 minutes !
How can it be that everything works except this very long time to create a new mail ?

And here is the solution !
System Preferences > .Mac > delete account informations (ID and password)
(Now that we had to migrate to iCloud, .Mac is no use any more !
A pity that « migration ». Shame on you Apple ! What about all those materials working fine… till end of June; do we have to trash all of them ? For me, it 6 machines : 2 iMacs, 2 iPhones and 2 iTouch !

Error (-23) on my itunes after syncing but my ipad2 is working well

Hi, I've recently started receiving the error messages for error -23 after syncing my ipad2 on my trusty laptop. Every single time I finish syncing, it pops up but the thing is the device is perfectly synced with the setting that I made before syncing. There are files that iTunes cannot find and I can validate the they really cannot be found because I've deleted these files. I just haven't bothered removing them from my library. Other notifications pop up for these files that can't be found. Other than that, no problems, no hang ups, nothing weird.
FYI, I don't think this is a hardware problem, the device is two months old, lady used and well cared for. No water damage, never dropped. It's my baby.
Frankly, I just want to get rid of this notification so I can go on with my peaceful life.

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

I'm guessing you are getting the error for all messages you attempt to send, is that correct?
What type of phone did you upgrade from? We ask because if you have switched from an Apple device (e.g., iPhone) to a non-Apple device (e.g., Android, Blackberry, etc.) and previously used the iMessage service, you may experience issues sending/receiving SMS/MMS messages with Apple device users. You need to deactivate the iMessage service within your Apple account to restore normal SMS/MMS functionality.

Everything works great except Youtube favorites

My Apple TV works well except for getting to my Youtube favorites and subscriptions. I can log in to Youtube and I can navigate around in Youtube (to see 'Most popular' and 'Most viewed', etc.) but I cannot get my favorites or my subscriptions to come up. The message it displays is:
"No content found. Trouble communicating with Youtube, Try again later sucker"
I have searched the forums and found references to this same issue in the past but have never noted a resolution. Has anybody figured this out?

works for me very good no problem, all i had to do is go to accounts and log off and remove my youtube account and added again, after that favorites works fine, now i can add to my youtube favorites right from apple tv, hope this will help you
