My iPad2 won't sync with iTunes. Upgraded iPad to iOS 6, iTunes is latest version (10.7). Cable connection. What am I missing?

I'm having the same, identical problem. It goes into step 2 (backing up process) then it goes back to step one (finding iPad) and it starts over again. It will just keep doing that for 3 or 4 times until it will say "iPad not found". This is so frustrating.

You already have a wireless router or have just bought one, or do you have an ad hoc connection from iMac to AppleTV?
If things worked in the other location this all point to poor network performance/connectivity. It may be the connection is intermittently lost - small files transfer ok, but interruptions during longer transfers scupper the process.

The receiver app has a specific list of servers it's compatible with, if the server is not on the list the app won't work in OS X.

My wife has an Acer 5551-2450 laptop and iPad2 won't sync or open up in iTunes to sync music, etc.

Then your problem may well be a network problem rather than just showing photos.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Ical won't sync with iPhone 5, iPad 2 or macbook pro.

I have updated my devices and now my ical won't sync with iPad 2, macbook pro or iPhone 5. How can I refresh them so they will all sync together. I just noticed that when I added an event on my ipad2 it did not show up on my macbook pro. I turned iCloud off then on again. I also turned calendars on and off again. Then the event disappeared from my iPad also. So now it is only on my iPhone 5. How do I sync ical with all my devices?

My ipad2 won't sync with microsoft outlook contacts/calendars only

Trying to sync my work place's computer itunes outlook for calendars and contacts only. (I use another itunes at home for my music/books/magazines/apps)
When i go into my work itunes it states:
SYNC:
Your contacts are being synced with your ipad over the air from icloud
Over the air sync settings can be changed on your ipad
same with CALENDAR
If this can't work having both itunes (same account of course), what do you recommend for a work around? I need both on my ipad!

ITunes won't sync with my new iPad (windows pc)

When I connect my iPad to itunes and select "iPad" it wont show anything else than an icon sayin' "iPad"
It doesn't show the typically display where I can sync music, photo etc.
I've tried to press the botton "sync with wi-fi" on my ipad while connecting - it doesn't help.
I've reinstalled itunes and therefor I've got the newest version - still doesn't work
I've tried to turne off my iPad and restarted it while connected to my PC - nothing works
I do't know what else i can try. please help me!

HT4112 I have a wireless keyboard from 2009 but it won't pair with my New ipad. It gives me the code but still doesn't connect once I've put in the code. Any ideas please. I have tried rebooting the new ipad.

It was given to me by someone that spilt a drink on it and they dried it but went and bought a new one. It finds the ipad but won't sync once I put the code in. I have looked at support etc and they recommend unsnycing from the original computer. But as I have no access for this is there any way I can reset the keyboard to pair my ipad?

I Always have synced my ipad2 with ITunes on my PC to back it up. This week when I opened ITunes on PC it would not show my device as connected so that I could back it up. Can anyone help? I just updated to 8.02 could this be a problem? Thanks

When you get back home, try different USB ports and/or different cables, just to rule out any mechanical issues.
Then try going into the control panel, add/remove programs. Uninstall iTunes, Apple Mobile device service, apple application support. Then redownload and reinstall iTunes and try again. Sometimes there seems to be a driver issue, where the up to date driver doesn't install but iTunes thinks it's there. The easiest way to get it on your computer is to remove the programs that use it and reinstall iTunes, which will automatically reinstall the driver when you plug your iPad back in.

As I already had Windows 7 x32 installed on my MacBook and just upgraded to Windows 8 x32 it is difficult to say whether you can directly install Windows 8 x32 or have to do the upgrade Windows 7 x32 route.

This is for getting Windows 8 x64 installed but it may work for Win 8 x32 using the switching of the CD's from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
I initially used my Windows BootCamp 3.0 drivers on the my Snow Leopard disc after using BootCamp 3.0 to install Windows 7 x32 so I would try using those 3.0 Windows drivers first and then upgrading to the Bootcamp 4.0.4033 drivers after you have booted into Windows 8.

Firefox was upgraded and won't sync with my account any more. I installed an older version but it still won't syn so can't get bookmarks.

The latest upgrade to Firefox was downloaded and sync stopped working. I installed an earlier version and disabled most add-ons but this did not work. I tried disabling sync and pairing it through my Android, but entering the code had no effect.

ICal in Mac won't sync with iPhone or iPad

I just updated to Lion on my MacBook and I am trying to do the wireless/iCloud sync for my appointments in my calendars. Everything works fine between my iPad and my iPhone but there is nothing happening from my MacBook to my devices. Appointments put in my MacBook do not show up in my iPhone and appointments put in iPhone don't show up in the Mac, even with a wired sync. Before the update I was doing the regular wired sync and it was working fine, and now nothing. Is there a setting I am missing? Yes, I am connected to the internet etc. I do not use MobileMe or anything else. This is just a iCloud, iTunes or iCal issue.

Ipod won't sync with itunes because unknown error(-69)

Before the newer version of itunes, all my music sync on to my ipod with no problem. Now after I updated to the most recent itunes, my music won't sync. I restored my ipod and I have the latest version of irunes. But it always say unkown error(-69). I just want sall my songs on my 80gb classic, because it had all my songs on there before with no problem til this new version and me restoring my ipod.

Playlists won't sync with iPhone

Playlists created in iTunes 11.3 won't sync with my iPhone 5S running iOS 7.1.2. I am using Mac OS X 10.9.4 and connecting the iPhone via USB.
Playlists created in the iPhone will sync to iTunes but if I add songs in iTunes, they are not added to the iPhone during sync.
Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Version 11.1.5.5 of iTunes was just released today. If you update to that, does that help with the syncing troubles?
