My Iphone 4 displays "no service" message in top right hand corner!
My Iphone wont pick up reception in areas where others will, it randomly picks up signals in some parts of my school and some streets in my town but it will still only have 1 bar and will only be there for about 30 seconds! I bought the Iphone off Ebay and it says it was unlocked, even if it was locked it says in settings>general>about it says that its carrier is Optus 13.1 and I am trying to use my Amaysim sim card which I am pretty sure runs through optus!
well i did yes, but i fear i made a mistake. Under the heading for 'iPhone Number' i mistakingly left in the sample number that was there...is there a way to like unregister the phone and start the whole process from scratch?...

Top left corner I'm not pleasedThat could be loss of service from the carrier, or possible switching off of the iPhone cellular service or failiure in the iPhone itself. Go to Settings > General > Cellular and see that it is switched ON.
See also that Settings > Airplane Mode is switched OFF.
If both are correct, do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears.
If that doesn't help, then you need to make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar to have the techs test the iPhone for failure. -
I updated to itunes 11.1 in Windows 8 & now there isn't a device tab in the top right hand corner or the sidebar. When I ran diagnostics it didn't pick up my Ipad or Iphone. Has anyone else had this problem & does anyone know how to fix it?
I have restarted my computer, turned my devices off & then on again & reinstalled itunes & none of this has helped.I have the same problem. Emailed apple--no help

One of my apps (condition report app) has decided to only display on the top right hand corner which is only a quarter of the screen, not sure what has happened as i have not changed any settings went to go into it one day and it was just like it.
Please help!!!! Thanks KristyDo you have the most up-to-date version of the app? Did you upgrade to iOS 6? Did you check to make sure that the developer has updated the app for the new OS? Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the app?

If you are not using Cellular Data, turn it off.

My Contacts program appears to open, but doesn't display on the screen (it appears to be sitting just above the top right hand corner). any suggestions on how to get it back?
Launch Contacts, then on the "Window" menu select "Zoom". That should maximise the window and give you access to the bottom-right corner where you can resize it, and the bar at the top which you can drag around.

Try going to settings. Tap Reset, tap reset network connection, wait until the apple goes restart your iPad,. Back to setting tap provider and put in your network password.

Iphone 3gs displaying no service message
I replaced my old iphone 3gs by a new iphone 4s. After 2 weeks the new iphone was stolen but, when i tried to go back to my old iphone 3gs (with a new sim card), it kept displaying a "no service" message after I updated it to ios 5.1. I got back all the information stored in iCloud and iTunes and all the applications work fine, except for the telephone service. I tried changing different sim cards (including different telephone lines) but the problem remains. The phone worked perfectly well before this incident started. Help!

That error message suggest you have a permissions issue. Make sure you have full read/write privileges for the Drive/ Folder location that you are copying the files to.

since i have upgraded my i phone5 to 7.0.3 it has problem with 3g it display the service message every time, it reduce the battery life also.
Try using Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
