My iPhone 4 has been problematic since the latest OS update
The phone crashes frequently (multiple times an hour) and struggles to run any apps. I have erased all data and setting twice and set this up as a new iPhone but apparently the problem is in the bad OS install. Is there anyway that I can start all over - i.e. replace the current OS install? This is getting old!!!!! (phone help and GeniusBar team have attempted to help but have failed - I hate to make another trip to the store but perhaps that's the best path).
try locationg the original OS itunes downloaded in your system. i dont know the proccedure but if you deleted that file, itunes should download a new IOS.
and one more thing, when restoring your phone, try putting it on DFU mode first then restore it to itunes.

I think I'm way past this point. I don't want to lose all my data either. Half the time it won't even open after entering my security code. If I push an app or try to do a certain (any) function, it freezes and reboots automatically.

The CD's that I've been importing don't import in order. It's usually not that big a deal, except with an album like the Beatles White Album... I want the order as originally recorded/

My battery life on my iphone 4 has been TERRIBLE since the most recent iOS update. Is anyone else experiencing this? At night I use a white noise app, and up to the most recent update, I never was below half battery in the morning. Now my phone is completely dead in the morning. I've noticed it draining faster in general since the update as well, but that particular app was just the best example.
One of the new features on the iPhone 4 is Multitasking ; it lets you do multiple things at once. For example, while iPhone is busy downloading a movie from iTunes, you can switch to the Safari app and browse IMDb in the meantime. So there's no more waiting around.
Each time you open an app and then press the home button, the app is still open. At the end, you may have too many apps opened at the same time.
To close apps, double click on the home button. Your opened apps will appear; hold one of them, then click on the red close to close an app.
Close as many as possible if you don't need them. -
Since the latest apple update, voice navigation has gone away. Tried the Airplane mode fix, which worked, but now my bluetooth won't work in my vehicle. What's up?
Well Bababooey if you're comparing yourself to a Apple Genius Bar then you should already know my answer, your snarky remark get a snarky reply. Why would I go to a salesperson to fix my computer problem when I can go directly go to the source itself. I used to sell Apple computers over 8 years ago and was apple certified before the Genius bar existed. If I am to go about fixing an issue I can't fix on my own I will go to the source itself meaning Apple's programmers and developers - being UI UX Developer myself I know they should have QA'd all platforms and troubleshooted any arising issues.
This was also the first time in the 20 years I've been using a Mac that I even attempted to go on this forum which i thought would put me in connection with a certified Apple representative. This turned out to be a complete waste of time just being a public forum with no Apple employee involved. I was hoping to find a quick fix but in turn I was only frustrated with stupid responses such as yours that were in no way an answer to my original question.
BTW I fixed the issue on my own and without your help or Apples help. I'm glad if all forums point here regarding this issue because I now have the answer. The answer I was looking for from someone earlier was as simple as this {Download Maverick and reinstall the platform - it will take an hour to do but afterward 10.9.2 was installed and my computer is now able to shutdown and restart without having to do a hard boot.} No more software update bar at top and no problems with my drive which I told both you and Grant - I know my computer better than you and I've probably been using them longer than you.
So again Babowa you were so wrong...... and I am right.
Again anyone having the same problem, I suggest reinstalling Maverick and you'll be suprised 10.9.2 will work fine. -

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to describe as a "false" tone. Could you try and explain a little better?

I am using V11.1.2.2 Hyperion Planning. I am currently getting an error:
Error : Period dimension 'Period' is missing a Base Time Period member 'Jun' that has been deleted since the last deployment. Base Time Period members cannot be deleted once the dimension is deployed
This is what i got when i tried to add alternate hierarchy to my shared dimension. I tried to delete it and it messed up.
NOw it wont deploy my application.
Can any one suggest.

I'm playing around with it to write a blog post and it is crazy. Only possible workaround (till now i'm not able to figure out a solution to it) is to copy the application and deploy it as a new one. Take copy of all objects (forms, tasklist etc). Delete the corrupted application and rename the new one to old.

Since the latest system update to 10.9.2 I can no longer get a signal from my Macbook Air to my TV. Has this happened to anyone else and how can I fix it.

Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. When I go to edit any post on my [http://whatgetsmehot.posterous.com Posterous] blog, the html and media including photos and videos are duplicating like bunnies if i do any editing (like going from rich format to html and back) all since the latest Beta Update??? And after that it will crash because it has multiplied anywhere from 4X to ?X times.
