My iphone 4 is no more found in any computers during the USB linking.......how can I do? I already followed the guide on the Apple site but it is not working. Thanks!
Ok. What you should do:
Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.
Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
Now your iPhone is in DFU mode. Now connect to iTunes with the cable. And click "Restore" in iTunes.

On my Iphone 4s, I can not get any response accept the apple logo after recharging for an entire day and trying to connect to iTunes. A few days before that the speaker suddenly stopped working during a call. I also reset everything by connecting to itunes but no luck then. help?

It sounds like you are putting a password for your Apple ID that works without issue on your iPad into your iPhone but get a message saying that the password is incorrect. I recommend the steps from the article named:

After completing iOS 7 setup, go to Settings > iCloud.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then enter your previous Apple ID and password.
If your Apple ID or password are not accepted, follow the steps in iOS 7: If you're asked for your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud.

Our Environment is Essbase 11.1.2.2 and working on Essbase EAS and Shared Services components.One of our user tried to run the Cal Script of one Application and faced this error.
Dynamic Calc processor cannot lock more than [100] ESM blocks during the calculation, please increase CalcLockBlock setting and then retry(a small data cache setting could also cause this problem, please check the data cache size setting).
I have done some Google and found that we need to add something in Essbase.cfg file like below.

Possible Problems
Analytic Services could not lock enough blocks to perform the calculation.
Possible Solutions
Increase the number of blocks that Analytic Services can allocate for a calculation:
Set the maximum number of blocks that Analytic Services can allocate to at least 500.
If you do not have an $ARBORPATH/bin/essbase.cfg file on the server computer, create one using a text editor.
In the essbase.cfg file on the server computer, set CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH to 500.
Stop and restart Analytic Server.
Add the SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH command to the beginning of the calculation script.
Set the data cache large enough to hold all the blocks specified in the CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH setting.
Determine the block size.
Set the data catche size.
Actually in our Server Config file(essbase.cfg) we dont have below data added.
CalcLockBlockHigh 2000
CalcLockBlockDefault 200
CalcLockBlocklow 50
So my doubt is if we edit the Essbase.cfg file and add the above settings and restart the services will it work? and if so why should we change the Server config file if the problem is with one application Cal Script. Please guide me how to proceed.

NaveenYour calculation needs to hold more blocks in memory than your current set up allows.
From the docs (quoting so I don't have to write it, not to be a smarta***:
CALCLOCKBLOCK specifies the number of blocks that can be fixed at each level of the SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH | DEFAULT | LOW calculation script command.
When a block is calculated, Essbase fixes (gets addressability to) the block along with the blocks containing its children. Essbase calculates the block and then releases it along with the blocks containing its children. By default, Essbase allows up to 100 blocks to be fixed concurrently when calculating a block. This is sufficient for most database calculations. However, you may want to set a number higher than 100 if you are consolidating very large numbers of children in a formula calculation. This ensures that Essbase can fix all the required blocks when calculating a data block and that performance will not be impaired.
Example
If the essbase.cfg file contains the following settings:
CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH 500 CALCLOCKBLOCKDEFAULT 200 CALCLOCKBLOCKLOW 50
then you can use the following SET LOCKBLOCK setting commands in a calculation script:
SET LOCKBLOCK HIGH;
means that Essbase can fix up to 500 data blocks when calculating one block.
Support doc is saying to change your config file so those settings can be made available for any calc script to use.
On a side note, if this was working previously and now isn't then it is worth investigating if this is simply due to standard growth or a recent change that has made an unexpected significant impact. -

Tiger freezes when screensaver runs or any time during the work
Hello everyone!
After I've connected LaCie external hard-drive, Tiger freezes every time screensaver runs. Sometimes it happens at any point during the work without any reason. I can move the mouse (when screensaver is on, though, after I moved the mouse the screen would go blank). LaCie works great and I don't think the problem is in it.
Also, right before this started I'd installed the Mac OS X 10.4.6 update. May be that is the reason. I don't know. I did what is in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=487116
In particular, I re-installed Mac OS X 10.4.6 combo update - it won't work. I've done permissions repairment, disk repairment, etc. Disk didn't require any repairments.
I tried disconnecting LaCie it won't help as well. What else might be done before I re-install Mac OS X itself (which I really don't want to do).

I created a GIFT file with 25 questions, but when I import into Captivate 8.0.1.242 I can only see the first 5 questions. I have triple-checked my import file for any syntax or other problems, but it seems perfectly fine.
Any ideas?The info on Adobe's online help needs to be updated. You must save your text file in UTF-8 format, otherwise only the first five questions will be imported.

HP 8600 Plus - Printer is on wifi but not visible/usable for any computers on the same network

I am on windows 7 x64 and I have an HP 8600 Plus. This printer has been working fine since we bought it but suddently it does not show up on the network. It started when my wife would try to print and the HP software says it cant connect to the printer. I tried resetting everything, including the router. I restored factory settings on the printer as well, still no luck.
I am able to connect the printer to wifi. The indicator shows that it is connected and ready. It has no errors there. It has an IP address and all seems well. I have several other computers on the same wifi network and none of them can SEE the printer. It does not show up in network devices and I am not able to install it using the HP wizard software (it gets stuck looking for the printer, then asks for a manual IP address and it still fails)
Please help, it worked fine for a few months and suddenly it is 100% not working!Anyone out there ever seen anything like this before? I searched the forums pretty heavily and I see similar issues but none quite like mine.
I have also tried the Print and Scan Doctor. Again, since the software cant find the printer on the network it won't connect and won't resolve any problems. It tells me to make sure the printer has a wifi connection and that the blue light is on and the indicator is showing it is connected, all of which are true. -
Since updating my iphone 5s software to ios 8, iTunes shuts down everytime in the app sync process. I have the most current version of Itunes on my laptop. Any ideas of how to fix?
I feel its more of my sync drivers for itunes/iphone not working if that makes sense. Its not my itunes that stops responding, its more of that if the phone syncs up it fails to anything further.
I've tried sync another iphone to the same itunes and windows autoplayer will allow the photos sorted on the iphone to be saved to the laptop but itunes won't even recongise the device is plugged in.

I've tried using multiple cords to connect to a computer, I've tried multiple computers, I've tried resetting all my settings on my IPhone, I've reinstalled and redownloaded itunes, and I've completely updated my iPhone and iTunes. Nothing works. I'm at the very end of my rope as this memo was a very important interview and I need to recover it.

I DROPPED MY IPHONE IN THE WATER. A MESSAGE SAYING THAT THE IPHONE NEEDS TO COOL DOWN APPEARED REPETEA REPEATEDLY. I RESTORE TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS AND NOW IT DOES NOT LET ME RESTORE FROM A BACK UP!!! IT KEEPS SAYING IPHONE NEEDS TO COOL AND IT DISAPPEARS FROM ITUNES

The device was dropped in water, it is damaged, take it to Apple along with cash or a credit card and get an Out of Warranty replacement. -
Itunes won't tranfer data to my iphone during the usb sync
To make a long story short, my laptop was stolen a few weeks ago and the itunes - iphone sync won't run properly on my new computer.
The details: Installing itunes and connecting using my Apple ID, I downloaded my previous purchases (music, apps, etc) from the itunes store, and then attempted to run the sync with my iphone. Note that I was still running the older version of ios at that point in time. I have since updated to ios 5, and my contacts, photos, and text messages have been restored. I attempted to complete a usb sync but it's still not working. The sync "finishes" in a matter of seconds without transferring my purchases to my iphone. Help!
I understand that the sync over wifi is a possibility, but I am having trouble connecting to my office wifi network at the moment. Any advice on how to successfully complete a usb sync?

Apple TV 3 not seeing any computers on the homeshare but is connected to wifi
I've had this problem for a few weeks now.
I got an Apple TV 3 from my Dad and put it in my new house. Connected it to my Wifi no problems but the problem is that it won't connect to my homeshare - it can't see any of the computers in my house.
It's connected wirelessly, it works with Airplay, I've done all of the diagnostic tests. My homeshare is definitely on, my firewalls are off, the router ports are open, the router has been reset several times, iTunes is left open, the homeshare is set up correctly in terms of usernames etc. I'm just out of ideas on why it won't connect to the homeshare.
I even took it to an apple store - they connected it to their own homeshare no problems so the ATV itself is working properly.
Someone help!Let's get the troubleshooting steps.
1. Make sure you have iTunes on your computer updated to latest 10.7 version. (applies to both - Mac and PC)
2. Make sure you have your Apple TV updated to latest software 5.1 (Apple TV 2nd and 3rd Generation)
3. Make sure that the computer (with iTunes running) is on the same LAN (Local Area Network) as the Apple TV.
4. Use the same Apple ID on both iTunes and Apple TV (Apple TV can work / switch between different Apple IDs but keep it simple for now)
If you still cannot see your computer from the Apple TV (Computers)
1. Reset your Apple TV
On your remote Hold down Menu and Down, until the Apple TV status light blinks rapidly
2. Make sure you have no antivirus or firewall on your computer that may be blocking access to your computer over LAN.
