you need to restore the phone on the computer to which it most recently synched. This will remove the passcode but you will lose any data between the last backup and the current time. Either that or sometime in the next 2 million minutes you remember your password.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Hi there. I have an iphone 4, which is currently synced with itunes on my laptop. I also have an ipad 2 which is currently synced with a more powerful and storage capable home computer. I would like to know if there is a way to sync my iphone 4 with my home computer, without losing my messages, apps, and other info. I am using Windows 7 on both machines. I don't know if there is a way to "merge" both itunes libraries for this? Any help will be appreciated.
I synchronize my contacts and calendars across multiple computers (and iPhones) via iCloud, but all of the devices end up with the same versions.
I don't want our different mail accounts synchronized between computers, so I don't sync that with iCloud, but you can (I don't recommend it with your work computer).
You should be able to sync the music with iCloud.

I just got my iPad, 3 days ago, put in my Master Card No. (through the computer) and I decided to buy an app in the computer's iTunes. Unfortunately, I had purchased/bought and downloaded an iPhone app (my dumbness!) and I can't use it. When I check my account in the iPad, it says there that I have no Banking information at all.
I'm worried cause when I checked my iTunes in the computer, my banking account was gone. Also, there is no any deduction on my bank figures.
Do you have any idea regarding my case? Please help me.That majority of iPhone-apps can be used on iPads, it's those that require full-phone capability that aren't compatible (and potentially if you don't have the relevant iOS version on your iPad) - an app's requirements (including the devices that it's compatible with) should be listed on its description page in the store. If it is compatible then you can redownload it (as long as it's still in the store) via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad.
After downloading the app on your computer's iTunes you didn't then remove your payment details, and the app was a paid-for app (it didn't have 'get' against it in the store, which would mean that it was free to download) ? Does it show on your account's purchase history as paid-for or free : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support ?
If it was a paid-for app then it can take a few days for the purchase to show on a credit card. And if iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for it then does anything show on the payment details screen that you owe money - or the next time that you try to download anything you will get a message along the lines of 'there was a problem with previous purchase' if you owe iTunes money. -
I have just been trying to import photos from mine and my husbands cameras but nothing seems to be happening. I get the message to wait while they are being imported but after 10-15 minutes, nothing has been uploaded. I have always had updates downloaded when they become available and can't think what I may have done wrong.

Firstly, I have 2 iCloud accounts, which creates constant confusion (considering I have a third "apple" acct. as well). I have not found any solutions (even the genius bar has been unhelpful) for this, but my current major issue is with storage space:
I have 2 iPads (first gen and a mini), and HAD 2 iPhones (4s and currently an iPhone5), plus one laptop:
ACCESS the old iPhone data (the phone drowned last month) on iCloud, such as the photos, notes, etc. This way I get my data (isn't that the point - backup??), and I also free up space to back up my current phone and ipad.
I'm currently way over my max data limit (which is the maximum purchase, btw).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated at this point . . !

DAHIf I understand your question correctly, you want to recover data from an iCloud backup of another device without losing the data that is on your current device. You could do this by backing up your current device as it is now, either to iCloud or to your computer using iTunes if you don't have space in your iCloud account to back up. Then restore your device to the backup of your other device to recover the data. Then save the recovered data to your computer (by, for example, importing the photos as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083, and emailing any recovered notes to yourself, etc.). Then, when you're done saving the recovered data, restore your device back to the backup you made at the beginning, returning it to the state it was in when you started.
Another option would be to sign into the iCloud account your other device was using on icloud.com and back up some of the data to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4910. This would not, however, allow you to access your camera roll photos and other data that is not synced with iCloud. -
The SIM card In my iPhone 5 has been giving me occasional messages that there has been a SIM Failure, there is NO SIM, or that there is an INVALID SIM. Until today, I was able to restart it with no problem and the SIM card would start up. This afternoon the NO SIM message came up and I cannot fix it. What is my next step? I am traveling in Canada now and it is not convenient to come back to the States just to get a SIM card.

So I was updating iPAD and while updating it stopped and gave me a typical error message but with error 4013. It worked fine before and is now stuck in the "connect to itunes mode" recovery mode. I have tried updating and no luck. I have even tried updating in DFU mode and no luck. Anyone git any solutions
Are you following these instructions?
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device. -
